I have a Samsung galaxy fit2. Under £100 gbp It recognises stroke etc. Not 100% accurate but ok. Another option is to count by doing a lap thinking of words beginning with 'a' next lap words beginning with 'b'. When you get to 'z' you've done 26 Edit: spelling
You shouldn't buy them at all. Read all the problems with this fitness tracker. From step counting errors to problems with sleep recording. For about a year now, Samsung hasn't rushed to fix the problem with firmware. And it's unclear whether they will fix it at all. The Fit2 didn't have these issues.
I have small wrists and love my galaxy fit 2 because it doesn't look silly and does everything I need. It's a bonus that its only 60 quid.
I use a GalaxyFit to continuously track HR and sleep. I paid under $100AUD for it on sale - it does the trick and it's on sale every few months. No subscription needed either.
Fitness tracker. I had no idea how inconsistent my daily steps was. Now that I monitor my activity closely I am able to predict my weight gain/loss much more accurately. Edit: in case anyone is curious, I currently use the galaxy fit watch. Was like $80 CAD and does all the basics (step counter, heart monitor, sleep tracking, and synchs with phone) seemingly well.
