In my experience, mini food processors are terrible. I've tried cuisinart and kitchen aid ones and they never do the job as well as the full size one. I'd get an 11 or 14 cup food processor. Even for small stuff it is fine.
Yes, this is mine. 👍
Do not use that often, but when I do love it, a kitchen aid mini prep food processor. So mych easier to clean too.
We have this one too. My wife has a daycare and uses it to puree the food for the smallest. I don't think it is bifl though. It's our second Kitchenaid in that size, last one was a little smaller and lasted about 5 years. It's possible my wife abused it a little though. We also have the large Kitchenaid processor, Artisan and blender, and I think those are gonna last us forever, but then again, we don't use those every day.
This little thing is great: KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper KFC3516CU
I have a kitchenaid mini food processor. It has both a chop and purée setting, so the chop is helpful to do medium batches of things like chopping onions for a big batch of salsa. There is a small hole in the lid specifically to add oil if you’re making mayonnaise or toum, which has been really useful for me. I use mine to make: hummus, pesto, pate, mayonnaise/toum, and more!
[KitchenAid. 3.5 cup food processor](https://www.kitchenaid.com/countertop-appliances/food-processors/choppers/p.3-5-cup-food-chopper.KFC3516PT.html?_gl=1*1x2jnpp*_up*MQ..*_gs*MQ..&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIuayphsCZjwMVVV5HAR2YbgvkEAAYASAAEgKVrPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&gbraid=0AAAAAC5rhmIh_kR_hytFTCS4i3sAoiuMo) Highly recommend even though it is pricy. Especially for sauces, pestos, quick chopping.
I have the kitchenaid 3.5 cup food chopper and it worked just fine. (I already had this appliance, didn’t have to buy it for Bari purposes) It has two settings, purée and chop, so it worked well for me in my purée and my mechanical soft stages. I paid like 20 dollars for it a few years ago at a Black Friday sale at Walmart. The small size seemed limiting at first, but food goes bad, even in the fridge, and I quickly found when I did double or triple batches, it was too much food for me to eat before I felt like the food was too old. I made chicken salad, egg salad, tuna salad and smoked salmon salad the most in this chopper.
Howdy, depends what kind of salsa. For traditional chunky salsa really any food processor will work. For salsa salsa cremosa I like the Kitchen Aid Food Chopper (which I also use for chunky salsa). It has a pour spout so you can slowly drizzle in oil to create the emulsification needed for salsa cremosa. Lastly for a thin salsa I use my Vitamix. It blends everything into a complete liquid. I use that for salsa I want to use in a squirt bottle.
I have a tiny KitchenAid food Processor which dices things alright if you use the pulse function. It's not perfect squares but if I'm feeling lazy for salsa or something I'll throw stuff like onions and tomatoes in there.
