49er831 1.0I have the Xbox Maxwell's and they sound good on ps5 pro and Xbox series X and on my PC. But I hate the stupid limp mic and that you can't do simultaneous wireless audio. Like dongle on your PC and Bluetooth on a phone or a tablet or tv.

The sound is very quiet even when i put the volume up still the same. i have updated them and the usb still nothing … and alot of people have the same issue do you maybe know if there is any fix because i do think they sound great only the volume has to be fixed for me.

You will love them for the music and you will love them for the music in Elden Ring. Xbox edition works on Playstation, it's kind of futureproof and works with everything. I own them for 2 almost years, limited Ultraviolet Edition (Xbox) but I'm using it for Playstation 5 and PC. I had no problems this unit but I DO HATE THE SIDETONE NOISE which Audeze does not adress at all. However, my first unit (early model of Maxwell, PS version) felt defective and I've returned it to the shop. Buy from a reputable shop that accept returns in 14 days with no reason. If you are able to get older firmware (.56 is considered the best I suppose) maybe it would be wise to not upgrade unless you have any problems. Some users reported sound profiles/lower volume they do not like in later updates. Before you update, always check if there is an option to roll that particular update back. Summary: It's much better than any dynamic drivers. It has disadvantages too. Since there is nothing better on the market I keep using my Maxwell despite sidetone noise I absolutely hate. I miss simultaneous audio too. I will leave Mawell in a heartbeat when there is other WIRELESS (important edit) gaming headset with this sound quality and without sidetone noise/with simlutaneous audio. So, you see, they are worth it but not perfect.

nickw1372 1.0if you really want a headset and are willing to spend the money the audeze maxwell are the way to go, good build, well known audiophile brnad, wireless, amazing sound quality and a great mic for about $300. note: if you have a console these work with ps5 and xbox series but you have to buy the specific version that is compatible with whichever console you have.
WantedD0A 1.0I’d get the Maxwells. Like others have said the app is wonky, but the sound is amazing and the wireless dongle maintains rock solid connection. For PC you should get the Xbox version

19MaddAddaM91 0.5They sound amazing but the default earpads are so shallow I had to buy replacements immediately because my ears were grinding against the drivers badly! But honestly they're the best pair of headphones I've ever owned and I've had A LOT. With the new pads I can wear them 9 hours a day with no discomfort.
I'd recommend tweaking the EQ a little though once you change the pads. The thicker WC pads dampen the sound a little. Little bass and treble boost in the EQ sorts it out though!

56kul 0.5I personally just got the Audeze Maxwell, which are essentially a hybrid between gaming and audiophile. They’re closed backs, but they still sound great. I agree that it’s important to take a step away from these overpriced “gaming” headsets that are really just garbage. My previous headset was the Arctis Pro Wireless, which was inferior in every regard, and it was *still* more expensive than the Maxwell’s. Really goes to show how poisonous gaming branding is.
