"I have the ear shape where in-ear headphones always make a loud bumping sound when I'm moving, so AirPods 4 give the benefits of noise cancelling and great sound without the in-ear effect. ... AirPods 3 always fell out my left ear but they dialed in the size perfect for the 4's, they sit perfect and I've never had it fall out or shake loose doing sprints and a full marathon."

"Took them on a 2hr walk with my dog today and had no issues. First IEMs I can actually wear laying on my side in bed."

"after 80+ miles on our last trip, I was the only one without foot problems of any kind."

"10-15 day battery life"

"16 days battery life on my fenix. ... The other aspect I really appreciate about my fenix is the battery life. 16 days or so. With everything I have to change these days (laptops, mice, keyboards, headphones, watches, phones), I appreciate not having to worry about it too often."

"the battery lasts 2 weeks, that's with 5 days worth of tracking runs and day to day use. Incredible."

"still have quality sound and bass ... With a slight adjustment in the bass on Spotify + spatial sound, the Airpods fly! The bass and quality of the Airpods almost reach the same level as the XM4!"

"The best is hearing directly via TV apps such as Disney+, Netflix, Prime and Kayo. The surround, smooth deep bass and clarity with the upfiring speakers on both the bar and rear speakers is 'chef kiss'."

"the sounds grab you tightly like it's saying, "Look at me only." ... when i put the tea pro, i can accurately tell where he is, what he is doing, and heck, the snipping scissors felt so real it tickled my ears and brain."

"have easily the best mic of any gaming headset (I recorded a sung vocal track into Pro Tools with it yesterday)"

"good mic quality"

"the Cloud II's microphone sounded the best, the clearer on every single audio device I've tested. I'm still recovering from that one to be honest. It was a surprise that went against everything I've seen on reviews so I'd like to really underline that one because most people thing the Cloud II microphone isn't good. Well, these are the HP version so maybe the reworked HP version actually improved the microphone. ... It's one of the best microphones i've used. Your voice sounds crisp and clear even if you're speaking lower."

"It was amazing being able to get snacks without taking it off or laying in bed without needing to change headphones"

"I love my hs80 max. I was turned off by wireless years ago . But these made me change my tune"

"the mic not being recognized as functional when everything checks out systematically, weird stuff. ... Today my mic completely won't connect to anything, I BT'd it to my phone, won't register that it's on, used it on my PC, nothing. ... Went to a help page and did all the backdoor stuff with permissions, no change (everything was already correct) just more frustration. ... Too much money to forgive."

"The bad thing is that I can’t seem to get the mic to work properly. ... I’m PC and the mic would either be on or off I would not be able to use the mic on off switch on the bottom of the headset. ... Later that day the mic wouldn’t work at all. (First day I got the headset) ... Bummed that the mic is this difficult to work though. ... The sounds quality is super crisp with the sonar EQ I would have definitely kept them if it wasn’t for the Microphone being wonky"

"mic is low and cant adjust the volume(db stuck at 0)"

"My Timps got holes after 4 weeks of wearing lol ... Forgot exactly where but it was the toe box. ... Never seen running shoes with such a shitty build quality before. ... Altra is definitely skimping on the materials since they were sold a few years ago."

"I beat the ever living shit out of my shoes in the Colorado high country and have had to shoe goo the soles twice in spots so it’s definitely not bomb proof."

"Left earbud broke after three days usage."

"My scimitar would randomly "unplug/replug" itself (Windows USB sound would play) ... and then it would forget all custom keybinds until I rebooted...often in the middle of a key. ... I chucked it out the window after a year of pain"

"iCue constantly explodes, requiring a reinstall to fix ... the settings you put on the headset REQUIRE iCue to reapply every time the headset connects. ... I have reinstalled iCue a number of times to try to make it work and its straight up ass IMO."

"Icue is so shit. ... But god forbid trying to reset up your bindings or trying to save them sometimes. ... So unintuitive. ... The worse ui I've used out of all the mice I've had over the last 20 years. ... Having to do macros for everything was stupid. ... I could never get the onboarding memory to work right either."

"THE IS NO SIDETONE ... you can not hear yourself at all when you're talking in to the mic. It's seriously like talking with your fingers in your ears.. ... This issue has plagued this line from Corsair for years and they will not fix it. ... Support literally told me to spend over $350 to get this basic feature. ... They said the sidetone on this model is "low". ... There's no setting that changes it I tried everything. ... of course i use it for gaming. I can send you a massive list of threads on this subreddit about tons of people bitching about this problem for years."

"the sideline sucked on it."

"bad sidetone"

"they constantly disconnect/fade in and out when I walk around and it drives me nuts."

"I have read it could be due to 2.4GHz wireless networks but not much I can do about that. ... I have tried everything short of turning off my 2.4GHz network, can't do that as I have a lot of IoT devices plus there are my neighbors 2.4GHz bands to worry about. ... Nothing else I have from Corsair wireless (mouse) does that so it must be the channel the headset runs on. ... If only we could change that on the headset."

"For me, whenever there is a lull in sound in a game (goes quiet), the headphones",switch off" until their is sound again, but there is a delay in that sound so you miss the first second or so. ... Sounds minor, but it's quite frustrating when a cut scene starts and you miss the first word .. but happens all the time, and Corsair has no idea why."

i recently purchase the same pair on sale. it’s my 5th corsair type of headphone in my years of being part of the corsair crew. i can say without a doubt best headset yet. my only gripe is that they show allow for recoverable cushions for cleaning. . . gamers get sweaty

I use a pair of Corsair HS80 Max , they use a USB dongle, and can connect to a Bluetooth device as well. They are the most comfortable headset I have used. They were $180 when I got mine, currently on sale at Amazon for $140.

Meh sound that requires an EQ, bad sidetone, and forced iCue is awful. Comfy, good looking, and very well built though. Mic is solid too after the firmware update. Can definitely do much worse Moved to the Turtle Beach Atlas Air, which sound better (they are open back so not really a fair comparison), have a better mic, and actual clear sidetone, settings save to the headset so no forced software, and somehow are even more comfortable. Don’t feel as “premium” but haven’t looked back.

I had this with my HS80 Max’s and thought it was just them, but then the same exact thing happened on my Turtle Beach wireless ones I got to replace them. Turned out that using a USB extension cable to bring the dongle closer to the headphones was actually the cause of it. Having it plugged in directly to my motherboard fixed the issue for me, even though my PC is hidden behind my TV. At least on my Turtle Beaches. Don’t have the HS80 Max anymore to test

I recommend Corsair HS80 Max. The other suggestions are good too, I just have the Corsairs and they're nice.

I switched mine out with earpads from Wicked Cushions with cooling pads inside. A little thicker too which makes it even more comfortable to wear. Love the HS80 Max, mic is suprisingly amazing too <3

Corsair HS 80 has the best microphone I've ever heard on a headset. It matches normal usb mics. However, DO NOT GET THE HS 80 MAX! They used the high bandwidth on the audio rather than the mic on the new hs 80 max. The hs 80 max has a terrible mic due to the reduction in bandwidth.

Currently using corsair hs80max. Regular hs80s broke down but max seems to be better. Sound is very good for a wireless device

I don't know what your talking about, my hs80 keeps breaking every 6 months, every 6 months corsair sends me a new. I'm on the 3rd one right and this summer again I'm going to have to replace them. The battery life sucks, has less then 12 hours of life if lucky, the connection is very poor, and the earmuffs break off after 6 months. I wouldn't recommend the hs80 to anyone, I would personally stay away from corsair, and go with logitech instead.

The twesting mechanism is set to twist only 90 degrees, but what I experienced after couple months of usage is loosening and twesting more than 90 degrees. On my first pair it twisted 360 degrees both ways. In general stay away from corsair products if there is an alternative like logitech. Yes even I sometimes buy corsair products here and there, becuase there isn't any competitors, but I make sure to use my warranty, and switch my product every a year or so.

I use a Corsair hs80 max and it’s great, awesome audio and a good mic but it’s also a huge pain in the ass sometimes. It might just be an issue with my pc but it likes to forget that it’s connected sometime
