"bought for 65 bucks! Such a super deal when these be costing like 200 brand new! For the price I got it I’m very satisfied ... got it soo cheap used in great condition for 65 bucks on eBay. ... I can’t complain for the price I got it for definitely saved more than 150+ bucks"
"They're also super cheap because everyone wants the self-emptying models now. ... I see the older ones pretty often at thrift stores and Facebook Marketplace for under $30."

"those setups also lack many of the convenience features that attracted me to this headset in the first place (numerous connectivity options and multipoint device connectivity is important for me because I WFH and this headset does double duty as my work headset and used for playing games on both PC and my Switch.)"
"Actually I love them so much I bought monitor stands and vesa brackets for them to use them when i’m home too."
"Minipc powers/displays to a monitor via a usb-c. Very convenient and great for a travel setup."

"The big PLUS for me on these compared to the Novas is that they have recessed 4kHz - it reduces fatigue and it’s not harsh on the ears. Especially with those high pitch gunshots and flash bangs."
"excellent imaging for FPS games ... SteelSeries has better imaging"

"And the AI they advertise actually works. ... With my gen 2s people could hear my dogs bark in the other room and now they can’t."

"The fit just doesn't feel right ... its heavy after an hour of use so who cares about battery life ... may as well get some over ears for comfort."
"They were heavy as shit and super uncomfortable. ... I struggle to even put my Maxwells back on."
"Putting the Wicked cushions on also makes them more wide which causes the headband to be more spread out. ... I tried every position for the headband, including split positions, and it was always uncomfortable."

"My scimitar would randomly "unplug/replug" itself (Windows USB sound would play) ... and then it would forget all custom keybinds until I rebooted...often in the middle of a key. ... I chucked it out the window after a year of pain"
"iCue constantly explodes, requiring a reinstall to fix ... the settings you put on the headset REQUIRE iCue to reapply every time the headset connects. ... I have reinstalled iCue a number of times to try to make it work and its straight up ass IMO."
"Icue is so shit. ... But god forbid trying to reset up your bindings or trying to save them sometimes. ... So unintuitive. ... The worse ui I've used out of all the mice I've had over the last 20 years. ... Having to do macros for everything was stupid. ... I could never get the onboarding memory to work right either."

I recently ordered a renewed Corsair Virtuoso XT from Amazon for $124. I'd have never bought it full price, but for this cheap, it was a no brainer. I've never used a headset that comes this close to the full package. The microphone quality blows every other built in mic I've ever used out of the water. You'll obviously get better sound quality out of a standalone microphone and some quality studio headphones, but not everyone has hundreds of dollars to drop for a full setup, and those setups also lack many of the convenience features that attracted me to this headset in the first place (numerous connectivity options and multipoint device connectivity is important for me because I WFH and this headset does double duty as my work headset and used for playing games on both PC and my Switch.) Check out some reviews and see what works for you. The frequency response range is lacking for any audiophile types, but I'm not that picky so to me it sounds better than any other headset I've used over the years.
I always use my headphones. Corsair Virtuoso XT. they're ok, have a relatively great mic (only compared to other gaming headsets), but absolutely overpriced an kinda uncomfortable. if you want speakers, either go for the Edifier R19BT 2.0 or if you have enough space for a subwoofer (under ur desk, gotta be not pressed against the wall or anything really) get the Creative Pebble Plus 2.1. the Pebble will sound overall better at a lower price (should be around 40) . But it needs extra space under your desk. the Edifier R19BT sound a little worse at a higher price (around 50), but doesn't need the extra space. I got the Edifier R19BTs for my roommate just last week. it's honestly overkill for just YT video watching. But yeah either option is great for their price. edit: I used to have speakers, but they're busted. it's just that I don't want to ALWAYS have a headphone on my head. sometimes it's bothersome. can't tell you what I had, doe. some no name shii, that was gifted to me (like the owner wanted to throw them away and went: yo u need speakers?) they sounded terrible, but if you chillin, it don't really matter. imma get the pebbles one day. or something better if something better comes out or drops in price by the time I actually buy one
I can recommend my Corsair virtuoso XT - the latency and the wireless quality is top notch - only downside is the weight of the headset. If you're looking for a lighter one, I definitely advise to choose one with usb-c dongle connection and not bluetooth to avoid latency issues
To this day, the closest to studio grade mic, on a headset, that I heard was on the Corsair Virtuoso RGB XT. That one was pretty crazy. Unfortunately the rest of that headset sucked. The Antlion mod mic wireless is really good, also, along with the Blackshark V2. But yeah, you can do better with one of those $60 Sno ball mics.
I originally had a st of virtuoso xt rgb had them for nearly 2 years before they developed a fault. Which were replaced via warranty virtuoso max silver. Personal I consider virtuoso a massive improvement in comfort over the xt the headband is a bit bigger and the ear cups despite still being round are slightly bigger and it makes a big difference. The clamping force has been increased, so headset dosent slip, & i dosent feel uncomfortable. The Bluetooth sound has been massive improvement with anc working nice haven't been able to. Try wifi as my pc is down. So far very pleased. It's a bit bigger but headset is better for it
Corsair virtuoso xt. Integrates into everything i own. Can also answer calls on your mobile at the same as you are gaming if needed
At the time, it was just a handy use case scenario. The wireless headset i was using was a Corsair Virtuoso XT. It came with a 3.5 mm jack and I would use that connection to my Steam deck while at work. The 2.4 GHz worked great on my PC and I could take calls with the Bluetooth on my phone. One of the reasons I returned the Nova Pro Wireless was because the moment you plug the 3.5 into the headset, it powers off all wireless options.
Seems sucky, like why have that threshold. Corsair seems to have it down. I got all three working with it.
Im a corsair guy for sure. I own the XT RGB with wicked cush and have mained them for a couple years. Haha not like i had another pair or anything. Anyway i just picked up the Virtouso Max on 1/25. Updated firmware and im fairy Tech savy. Amazing sound over the XTs once i played around with dobly and sound ID. Truely fantastic. I have a big head and I do notice clamping force on my head but it fits will. ANC is crazy. I didnt think i would need it but damn its goodtransparancy mode is good not amazing. I have zero sleep to wake volume issues Side tone works barely <---- frankly worthless also trans mode is not a work aroundMic is good just like XT
I don't own one. I've seen enough horror stories in here not to buy anything else razer branded other than the 2 keyboards I currently own. Razer used to build quality kit now they just rely on their brand and pump out ewaste. I own a Corsair Virtuoso RGB wireless, sturdy aluminium body and great sound quality.
If u get the 2, can u let me know how are they in a longer than 2hr gaming session? My corsair virtuoso rgb they suck after an hr of game play they just hurt.
I got the corsair virtuoso rgb they can only be worn for about an hr they are so uncomfortable.
