"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"

"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"

"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."

"I even washed them accidentally and still worked perfectly fine afterwards."

"Been using them for about four years working out in my gym, and cycling daily (45+ minutes on a bicycle outdoors)."

"They last absolutely forever (I know 1980s models still in daily use)"

"I have the ear shape where in-ear headphones always make a loud bumping sound when I'm moving, so AirPods 4 give the benefits of noise cancelling and great sound without the in-ear effect. ... AirPods 3 always fell out my left ear but they dialed in the size perfect for the 4's, they sit perfect and I've never had it fall out or shake loose doing sprints and a full marathon."

"Took them on a 2hr walk with my dog today and had no issues. First IEMs I can actually wear laying on my side in bed."

"after 80+ miles on our last trip, I was the only one without foot problems of any kind."

"the Cloud II's microphone sounded the best, the clearer on every single audio device I've tested. I'm still recovering from that one to be honest. It was a surprise that went against everything I've seen on reviews so I'd like to really underline that one because most people thing the Cloud II microphone isn't good. Well, these are the HP version so maybe the reworked HP version actually improved the microphone. ... It's one of the best microphones i've used. Your voice sounds crisp and clear even if you're speaking lower."

"mic crushes the Sony LinkBuds S in noisy/quiet settings ... keeps your voice natural"

"better call quality"

"The big PLUS for me on these compared to the Novas is that they have recessed 4kHz - it reduces fatigue and it’s not harsh on the ears. Especially with those high pitch gunshots and flash bangs."

"excellent imaging for FPS games ... SteelSeries has better imaging"

"I can hear more things than everyone i play with - footsteps etc.."

"bad connection with pc vía USB (im not making the de mic work)"

"I had many times where sonar audio devices flat out wouldn’t work properly and required a restart or reinstall to fix, and I got tired of it."

"The one problem I have with them is when they go into a standby mode and come out of it, the mic stops working, both on Bluetooth and with the dongle. ... So like if I'm in a Discord chat and I mute for 20 minutes and come back, I have to put the buds back in the case and take them out for the mic to work again."

"My Timps got holes after 4 weeks of wearing lol ... Forgot exactly where but it was the toe box. ... Never seen running shoes with such a shitty build quality before. ... Altra is definitely skimping on the materials since they were sold a few years ago."

"I beat the ever living shit out of my shoes in the Colorado high country and have had to shoe goo the soles twice in spots so it’s definitely not bomb proof."

"Left earbud broke after three days usage."

SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P for Playstation (has a blue headband). I bought and tested 5 different pairs when the Sony Pulse Elites came out (complete garbage by the way), and loved this one the most. I had previously had the HyperX Cloud Alpha wired headset for like 6 years before that which were also fantastic.

I have cloud alpha since 1 month, I like its bass and punch, with a APO equalizer and harman neutral profile sounds good (the trebles are decent but no perfect 'cause there is a 4khz drop and i listen less of detail for music with female voices or some instruments go background but that is not a great problem). At the start, feels unconfotable my head but after 1 week using headset, it got used and feels very confortable, sometimes i forget im using it. :) Ive read the 7.1 surround is bad for this type of gaming headset and it is only marketing (brand doesnt matter) so i ignored it when i buyed. r/HyperXCloud 3s or Cloud Alphas??

I have only the Cloud Alpha non-S Wired. With a neutral profile from [peqdb.com](http://peqdb.com) configured in PowerAmp equalizer, I enjoy them for music. I don't currently use them for gaming. Out of the box, they have some overemphasized bass. They can be enjoyable for rap music, although in my case, those basses gave me headaches. The neutral profile with the equalizer works better for me, with a present but not exaggerated bass. I think you should give the Cloud 3 S a try and see how they do. The non-S Cloud Alphas are great, but they're either discontinued or missing features. The other option, if you don't need a microphone, is to go for some IEMs or audiophile headphones. Or if you need microfone, look for choices as SHP9600/shp9500, etc

Any other gear you own (if important, like headphones or headsets)? - I used a wired cloud alpha 2 before, it was great for me for playing counter strike, Im just looking for something wireless while still being able to differentiate footsteps locations

This. Or the wired hyperx cloud alpha, often £50 on Amazon UK. I've tried DOZENS of sets, some cheaper, some dearer but I just. keep. coming. back. to. the hyperx.

r/HyperXAnyone got the new HyperX Cloud Alpha 2 ?

I got it. First impression: what bothers me already is that I can no longer control the volume via Windows or from my keyboard, only via the headset hardware and this new "stream deck". Also it's going nuts with installing audio devices (installing 13 audio devices on windows). The warm ear pads aren't for me either. The ones from Cloud 1 are noticeably colder than the new ones, but that might be changeable with custom pads. Sticking with my Cloud Alpha 1 for now, since I can adjust volume from windows and I only have to deal with 2 audio devices in the windows settings.

Hyper x all the way, my wired cloud alphas lasted 7 years before my partner got me a wired cloud 3. No cord, sound issues or mic problems after all that time.

I’ve tried multiple gaming headsets and you want the PC38X if you’re wanting nicer sound and a decent mic. They sound very good but are open back so you need quiet surroundings. I have the Audeze Maxwells for almost double the current price of the PC38X and still thought the 38x’s were very impressive and I want a pair myself. Other gaming headsets might have deeper bass and better positional tracking for footsteps but they will lack the clarity and be double the price. Cloud headsets are great for most gamers but if you’re even considering crossing the line into premium sound they won’t make you happy. I used the original cloud Alphas for years until the earpads disintegrated and I had to replace the cables. I can’t use them now because they sound tinny and hollow after using nicer sounding headphones.

# But from [HyperX ](https://ca.hyperx.com/products/hyperx-cloud-iii-s-wireless-gaming-headset)directly. $136 w/ coupon BLACKFRIDAY20 But do note, not as easier for returns and its HP so worse customer service. The day has finally come. Gaming companies have learned how to tune closed back headsets. An it's wireless(which make tuning easier). The wired III model and the non S wireless model both kind of suck. But this one is legit good. An not just gaming headset good, just full stop closed back good. Its better than most wired closed backs. I cant think of a better closed back gaming headset under $350CAD. The only one i like better around this price is the Fractal Scape. If they could fix the bugs in the Alpha 2 it could also be good. **Edit: The Alpha Wired and the Cloud III S Wireless are the only 2 HyperX headsets I'd recommend.** |*Product Name*|*Tone*|*Tech*| |:-|:-|:-| |HyperX Cloud 2|C|C-| |HyperX Cloud 3|C|C| |HyperX Cloud 3 Wireless|C+|C| |HyperX Cloud 3 S|B+|C+| |HyperX Alpha|B-|C| |HyperX Alpha S|C-|C| |Fractal Scape|B|B-| |Audeze Maxwell|A+|A-| |Astro A50 Gen 5|B+|B-| |Razer Blackshark V3 Pro|C+|C+| ||||

Closed VS open is very different. Imo open just plain sounds better. Imo use the oratory1990 eq for the hd599 and they will be better. The software is buggy as well and some of the features don't seem to work right. Imo the cloud III S is just better as it's cheaper without the buggy features.
