"I even washed them accidentally and still worked perfectly fine afterwards."

"Been using them for about four years working out in my gym, and cycling daily (45+ minutes on a bicycle outdoors)."

"They last absolutely forever (I know 1980s models still in daily use)"

"I have the ear shape where in-ear headphones always make a loud bumping sound when I'm moving, so AirPods 4 give the benefits of noise cancelling and great sound without the in-ear effect. ... AirPods 3 always fell out my left ear but they dialed in the size perfect for the 4's, they sit perfect and I've never had it fall out or shake loose doing sprints and a full marathon."

"Took them on a 2hr walk with my dog today and had no issues. First IEMs I can actually wear laying on my side in bed."

"after 80+ miles on our last trip, I was the only one without foot problems of any kind."

"10-15 day battery life"

"16 days battery life on my fenix. ... The other aspect I really appreciate about my fenix is the battery life. 16 days or so. With everything I have to change these days (laptops, mice, keyboards, headphones, watches, phones), I appreciate not having to worry about it too often."

"the battery lasts 2 weeks, that's with 5 days worth of tracking runs and day to day use. Incredible."

"have easily the best mic of any gaming headset (I recorded a sung vocal track into Pro Tools with it yesterday)"

"good mic quality"

"the Cloud II's microphone sounded the best, the clearer on every single audio device I've tested. I'm still recovering from that one to be honest. It was a surprise that went against everything I've seen on reviews so I'd like to really underline that one because most people thing the Cloud II microphone isn't good. Well, these are the HP version so maybe the reworked HP version actually improved the microphone. ... It's one of the best microphones i've used. Your voice sounds crisp and clear even if you're speaking lower."

"The pinpoint accuracy is insane. I played Valorant on PS5, xDefiant and Warzone. ... This was more noticeable on Valorant as it is a more sound dependent game. You won't miss anything with these. I started to watch out at angles I wouldn't watch with the others because some audio cue made me suspect a door and ... it was 100% right all the time. I could tell where they were with excellent accuracy, both horizontal and vertical."

"The ability to use 2 Channel stereo audio, excellent for FPS shooters (hearing footsteps). ... The logitech and some corsair wireless headsets force surround sound on in Windows audio settings through their drivers, which make the sound muffled and make poor positional audio."

"it had dogshit bass ... sounded awful"

"they sound pretty horrendous. ... Best thing I can think of to describe is that it sounds like the sound is being filtered through a tin can."

"Once I had a marathon go wrong and my headphones died at 3.5 hours and I limped to a 5 hour walking finish. Damn, even a touch of music might have helped the struggle."

"reliability was always pretty bad ... they wouldn't last more than 12-18 months at ost."

"Then after a year or two the battery kicks the bucket. ... Not with the hyper x’s or most other wireless headsets."

"I have a Hyper X Cloud 2 and it seriously hurts my ears with extended use. Not my ear drums, but my ears themselves. I hate it so much."

"the highs pierce my eardrums"

"uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time"

"the software not recognizing the headset using it's dongle ... I started facing issues with it that seem to be a common occurrence with the headset. ... I find fixes all the time for it! Such as switching USB ports when its not recognized which works but I expect a $300 headset with such praise not to need that kind of attention, for the steep cost (again just a gamer, not an audiophile) I'd expect my purchase to function with minimal intervention. ... I found that the usb shifting thing really isn't uncommon for the headset and that's just not okay with me for the cost."

"keeps fucking disconnecting"

"Software updates are a russian roulette: things stop working, random em disconnects from the dongle (my case) etc..."

I have the HyperX Cloud II Wireless and I love it! The sound quality + mic quality seem really good! I mainly chose it because someone recommended it to me when I was looking for a smaller-sized headset because my headsets were forever falling off my head but it ended up just being a really good headset in general! :) I also like that is has a muted indicator light and that it's a mute button and not the type where you flip the mic up to mute as those seem to wear out for me and end up not working anymore!

Take a look at the HyperXCloud II Wireless and wired. We (my daughter and me) use that since a year or to and they are really great: comfortable, usable for different head sizes, great sound (virtual surround). The wireless version comes with an USB dongle which is faster than Bluetooth. We got the wired version first, but wireless is worth the extra money. We got both from Amazon, with discount for about 65€ for the wired version 110€ for wireless.

Seconding this. I LOVE the Hyper X Cloud Wireless series. I've been rocking the Wireless II's for a few years now and have zero complaints. I love the feel, fit and sound quality. Sure, it's a tad high on treble and the listening fatigue does occur after long play sessions, but for the price and quality it's a 10/10 on recommendations. What's more, the microphone has audio monitoring which was one of the big key factors in my purchase. You can activate this by holding down the mute button for 3-4 seconds. Oddly, Hyper X doesn't explain how to do that anywhere that I could find and it's an incredible feature.

I only use wireless headsets and tried logitech, corsair, steelseries, beyerdynamic. I would recommend the Hyperx Cloud II Wireless. It's a great all arounder. \-Affordable \-Comfortable, light clamping force, not too heavy. \-Sound good out of the box. No need to mess with settings or install drivers, easy plug n play. \-Microphone is not great, but good enough. \-Battery life is decent at 30hrs. \-The ability to use 2 Channel stereo audio, excellent for FPS shooters (hearing footsteps). The logitech and some corsair wireless headsets force surround sound on in Windows audio settings through their drivers, which make the sound muffled and make poor positional audio. \-Build quality is a bit on the cheaper side after HP took over HyperX, but still decent. If you prefer less bass and SUPER light clamping force, can try out the Cloud III.

I use cloud ii wireless at work and audeze maxwell at home. my nice amp/dac and sundaras, 6xx, dt1990 etc are all boxed up and don’t get used any more. if you are explicitly looking for imaging there is better options than gaming headsets for sure though.

My cloud ii wireless started peeling off. I mean the ear pads and the headband. Do you have the link or maybe an idea of what ear pads I should be getting? For the headband as far as I know there is no solution without soldiering which I’m not going to do. You said you peeled off the headband and is even better now?

I just got new cloud 2 wireless and they sound okay (cant compare to the old ones), but the microphone on them is worse than the one from my previous 10 bucks china-headset, which makes the headset completely unusable.
