"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."

"delivers the full package here. ... betting the house regarding this on this pair was fully worth it. ... It matches up (I would not say surpasses) a lot of wired in-ear monitors within this price bracket and slightly above. ... The prowess it shows in keeping the instrument separation clean is something that I really, really appreciate myself for buying this pair, not to mention the rumbly yet controlled, precise lows keep on coming and the highs soar without spice, without hurting your ears."

"Nothing short of a home run, here- the Ear once again brings me all; the way the bass hits on this track is very impactful but not bloated, punchy but not overpowering, and Kendrick’s powerful vocals shine through bright, while I enjoyed the way the Sax keeps on coming in at the right junctions of the song, and the way the cymbals play out on this track is probably one of the best I have heard through amongst all the gear that I have owned and currently own- the first in a wireless, and one of the few if I consider all. ... the timbre sounds natural and uncoloured"

"I even washed them accidentally and still worked perfectly fine afterwards."

"Been using them for about four years working out in my gym, and cycling daily (45+ minutes on a bicycle outdoors)."

"I have the ear shape where in-ear headphones always make a loud bumping sound when I'm moving, so AirPods 4 give the benefits of noise cancelling and great sound without the in-ear effect. ... AirPods 3 always fell out my left ear but they dialed in the size perfect for the 4's, they sit perfect and I've never had it fall out or shake loose doing sprints and a full marathon."

"Took them on a 2hr walk with my dog today and had no issues. First IEMs I can actually wear laying on my side in bed."

"after 80+ miles on our last trip, I was the only one without foot problems of any kind."

"the Cloud II's microphone sounded the best, the clearer on every single audio device I've tested. I'm still recovering from that one to be honest. It was a surprise that went against everything I've seen on reviews so I'd like to really underline that one because most people thing the Cloud II microphone isn't good. Well, these are the HP version so maybe the reworked HP version actually improved the microphone. ... It's one of the best microphones i've used. Your voice sounds crisp and clear even if you're speaking lower."

"mic crushes the Sony LinkBuds S in noisy/quiet settings ... keeps your voice natural"

"better call quality"

"The pinpoint accuracy is insane. I played Valorant on PS5, xDefiant and Warzone. ... This was more noticeable on Valorant as it is a more sound dependent game. You won't miss anything with these. I started to watch out at angles I wouldn't watch with the others because some audio cue made me suspect a door and ... it was 100% right all the time. I could tell where they were with excellent accuracy, both horizontal and vertical."

"For gaming, these are perfect. ... As a valorant immortal, tier 2 and premier player, I can confidently say that the imaging and soundstage are spot-on. ... Footsteps, directional cues, and in-game sounds are incredibly precise and natural, giving a competitive edge without any unnecessary bass/treble bloat."

"directional audio is amazing can hear all the opponents"

"every 60 seconds or so it shrieked for a couple of seconds in an electric staticy kinda way."

"the Tea Pro are absolutely terrible. ... I couldn't sell them quick enough. ... Utter dogshit & not 10% as good as the Tea 2. ... utter crap with horrific mids, dreadful bass & terrible treble"

"I have additionally had issues with the Vibram soles delaminating from THREE SEPARATE PAIRS of Speedgoats now. So they are struggling with some quality control issues with their adhesive. ... I think their adhesive just degrades with time. The shoes were probably manufactured and sat in a warehouse long before they made their way to my feet. Plus I think the design of their sole contributes to the problem."

Getting a separate desk mic actually wouldn’t be much of a problem if you get the right type. A Unidirectional/Cardioid mic specifically picks up sound from one direction, generally the front, so if it’s pointed towards you then it’ll pick up his voice less. And then you can also decrease the sensitivity of the mic because if it’s too sensitive then it could possibly still pick his voice up, so turning that down would focus more on picking up the voice physically closer to it. But if you’re determined on getting a headset, since you also like the Cloud 2 then the Cloud 3’s microphone is substantially better by comparison. The version of the Cloud 3 with the best mic is the wired one, which you can get for less than $100. It also comes with a PC-extension cable if needed https://hyperx.com/products/hyperx-cloud-iii-wired-gaming-headset?variant=43656365408413

Not sure if you have ordered yet, I currently have a pair of wired cloud 3s, they are great, the mic is very good, only issue i had was the wire always got stuck under my chair wheel because of how long it was which eventually led the usbc being ripped out. Everyone i have spoken to has preferred the cloud 2 and the cloud 2 is used by a lot more fps streamers and pros, i am likely going to order the cloud 2s so i can give you my opinion if you still need.

I ordered the cloud 2 and I love it honestly, took a minute to get used to but the sound is better for valorant which is what i play, the back of the sound controls has a lcip so i can just clip it onto something else. Both are honestly great imo.

I’m partial to HyperX anymore myself, after having tested and tried mostly all other brands. I use Logitech for everything but the headsets/headphones anymore. A lot of it comes to personal preference and budget, I get that. But as a home grown audio producer, nothing has come close to my wired hyperX cloud III both for pretty solid audio production in FL studio as well as gaming as you can always fine tune things with EQ for specific game genres. It even works phenomenally well with my ps5 pro. No complaints and a decent price point for such great quality in my opinion.

r/HyperXis hyperx cloud 3 wireless good?

First off, Both Cloud 3 wired and Wireless need simple EQ out of the box. This annoyed me at first but it is what it is. You do it then never touch it again. That being said, I'm returning my wired Cloud 3 for the Wireless. After tons of research and reviews by audiophiles, the verdict is that the sound quality difference is indistinguishable. The mic quality is slightly worse on wireless but still very good and way better than my current cloud 1 anyway. Now here's the big reason i'm going wireless. This is a noise canceling headset, this means that any rubbing on the physical headset is VERY noticeable. You hear it echoing in your ears. I hear the braided wire rubbing on my shirt everytime I turn my head and I don't like it. Oddly enough i've never heard this mentioned in any review. But it's actually a big deal.

Super late but incase anyone is wondering, Cloud 3 in general is good, but Cloud 2 is so much better when it comes to FPS games. I hear much clearer and better in Cloud 2 core wireless compare to my Cloud 3 wired

Hey man sorry I missed your comment but I have ordered the cloud 3 and I am really happy with it. Yeah the wire is too long but I have tied it using a tag and rest everything seems very good to me.

Got cloud 3 wired and they are pretty good. For fps games I can say this is the best in market but for audio and music its not as bad as people have said it to be. EQ tweaking can be done and it sounds really good and if you really want good audio then don’t do anything just keep all the eq off and use foobar200 and pure flac audio files and listen to songs it will really sound crazy imo. But I am really happy with these.

I have the wired version so idk if this will help but here goes. They are good. Tho they will sound better if you go into a eq and raise the bass. The mic is great. It's crystal clear and it doesn't pick up much ambience noice. When I got my Cloud 3s I asked ny Friends on discord if my mic was better than the previous and they said "yeah dude you sound like you sound in real life"
