Idk what yall do to headsets. I used my 2023 version until the 2025 came out. No issues at all. Now use the 2023 for work…
r/razer • Stay away from Blackshark Razer wireless headsets ->If you want one Razer headset that nails comfort, sound for games + music, a real step up in mic quality, and easy PS5 use, get the [Razer BlackShark V2 Pro](https://www.amazon.com/Razer-BlackShark-Wireless-Gaming-Headset/dp/B0BY1FXC9N?crid=1AWF5LV314883&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.Ngp1bFdpSqlHbsZj2dW-KFh7tHg3DtQPha3YWuClRHPC9Y01KQPaA5nqhoj5AOa_U-T0Ouls1pszBw5bsMx7ytRw4zoiQvxuHUrcJpPI--4MW79gwOa36oN3YKDoZ-UTCeKpcXkcnHHaNw1w-iHC1CUELtSrIsrjTDTb1gGkynJsI-mKDHgebrmNCPSfO1Ni9DEh9qBIwpLBc_vG0CY5hBXrWptsfyY16Nf8yvTH4sE.5zoXg3HJeOfPwaW24w_pna3E2Q5J0iZ9LnAoqimqzbU&dib_tag=se&keywords=Razer%2BBlackShark%2BV2%2BPro&qid=1761872070&sprefix=razer%2Bblackshark%2Bv2%2Bpro%2Caps%2C193&sr=8-3&th=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=drxth-20&linkId=8210c82a12fd50fc46d5d84e01ab480e&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) (2023). It’s light and plush enough to wear for hours like your old Nari, uses memory-foam earcups that won’t crush glasses, gives a much clearer detachable mic, supports wireless + wired modes, and delivers spacious, punchy audio that makes both cinematic games and music sound lively, all without the bulk or the mediocre mic that broke your heart about the Nari.
r/razer • Looking For Recommendations On A New Razer Headset ->I’ve had the blackshark v2 pro for like 3 years now (it replaced my wireless arctic pro 7, which had a worse mic imo) and love it. Like a lot of ppl here I use a separate mic for my voice BUT the mic is surprisingly good for a wireless headset. I had no idea it was that good either until a friend asked me about the quality and it dawned on me I never used it. He said (let me preface this by saying most of our friends use high quality desktop arm mics) it sounds like a cheaper desktop mic (not a bad thing at all!), but better than what we would normally expect from a headset mic. Comfort wise it also has great breathable cushions, I hated the ski goggle strap that my arctis came with. I generally get fatigued wearing any headset, between it squeezing my fatass head and the weight, can get uncomfortable, so I’m in the process of getting gaming earbuds (arctic gamebuds)
r/buildapc • The Best Gaming Headset to Buy Now? ->Bit of a necro but just wanted to throw in my experience from this evening. Had a pair of Razer BlackShark V2 Pro's for about 9 months, I can't fault the audio or microphone in anyway (I am not a huge audiophile mind you). What I will say is that the plastic bracket that connects the actual earphones to the headband exploded on me this evening as I took them off. They are well looked after, always on a stand - never laid flat, never wrenched off my head. Bit surprised by it - but I do have quite a large head, so maybe that was a contributing factor. This could be a one off but just letting people know in case they are looking for something long term.
r/buildapc • The Best Gaming Headset to Buy Now? ->I've had mine for 2 years and never had any issues with it breaking.
r/razer • Stay away from Blackshark Razer wireless headsets ->@op I have the ath-m50x bt2, best headphones I've ever owned. I had the razer blackshark v2 pro before this, but the charging port went out, or had some other electrical issues like a month after I got them... Quite sad as I loved how they looked and sounded. They're my blender hearing protection now haha. I do have a blue desk mic tho so if you don't, I might consider other headphones. Also, I would consider not doing Bluetooth as the above person isn't, I have issues in certain games with the Bluetooth protocols in windows. Black ops 6 and rocket League are the easiest example, as soon as a match starts and I connect to voice chat, bluetooth immediately and fully crashes until I restart my computer. System Bluetooth settings get laggy, I can turn off Bluetooth but it won't turn back on and it shows no Bluetooth adapter. It is a known issue, and for most turning off hands free telephony in windows fixes, but def doesn't for me. This however doesn't happen in most games and ABI is amazing with them as are most games. I have my old hyper x cloud 2 wired for those games XD.
r/ArenaBreakoutInfinite • What Headset Are You Guys Using To Play ABI? ->The blackshark v2 pro sounds worse than the kraken v3 pro though you can check Crinacle and rtings review and measurements on it also the kraken is built better than the blackshark aswell still cracks under stress at the hinges but only a hairline crack doesn't disintegrate like the blackshark does Also the blackshark is limited to a 6db eq either way in synapse and the kraken has a 12db limit so you get more flexibility with customisation of sound
r/razer • What are the best Razer headsets right now? ->Its'a shame, Poor quality Builds , Poor Audio , nothing ( immersive here with this ones , so avoid if youre planning buy for audio. Mic cheap build , but good sound when talking( im not sure with the fiability , 6month im pretty sure mic will start to be problem.. thats my guess cuz so cheap.) im from Razer BlackShark v2 pro and nothing comparable here , better mic/better audio in all aspects , Bluetooth doesnt worthg it with nova 5 cheap too .. so Nova5 its a budget headphone thats it. if you want spent 200$ on headphone avoid this ones dont worth the prices. im really disapointed . 2/10 for nova 5. im sending them back to get back my blackshark back or kraken v3 who know. Ps: so headache for nothing. Go Razer plug and enjoys. Keyboard/mousse SteelSeries is still my way to go tho ! also\* Hyercloud x2 get better Audio for quality too so dont buy nova 5 you will still be disapointed.
r/steelseries • Wireless SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 ->I have this headset, and I absolutely LOVE it, though the mic quality isn't great, the sound design is phenomenal
r/playstation • I need recommendations for a PS5 headset, I don’t mind spending a lot of money, what are your best suggestions? ->Does it fix the Blackshark Pro V2 issue where if you used it on Bluetooth the next time you're on hyperspeed, the custom EQ setting will be too quiet? Sometimes only for the playback but sometimes also the EQ on the mic. Opening synapse might reset it (the UI won't show that the bands are all set to -5DB) or it might show that your headset is not on, requiring fully quitting it and reopening it. A minute or more of fiddling every time you pick up the headset to just get it working as intended.
