Im Personaly realy happy with my Razer Kraken v3 pro nice sourund sound for gaming or movies and for music its wonderfull. Sorry for my writing im from germany. Only down side is the Mikrofon but i buoght a razer seirin mini v3 and for 35€ its pretty good
The blackshark v2 pro sounds worse than the kraken v3 pro though you can check Crinacle and rtings review and measurements on it also the kraken is built better than the blackshark aswell still cracks under stress at the hinges but only a hairline crack doesn't disintegrate like the blackshark does Also the blackshark is limited to a 6db eq either way in synapse and the kraken has a 12db limit so you get more flexibility with customisation of sound
I use ps pulse elite's. They were a step up from the kraken v3 pro's I had before
This. It’s how I fixed my kraken v3 pro and the 3d printed bracket is better because it uses screws rather than snap fit
Hyperx Cloud 3 is good imo eventho i'm using Razer Kraken v3 Pro
I use a Razer Kraken V3 Pro. But you don’t need something this good. I’m kind of a Razer stan so all my equipment is Razer but any halfway decent gaming headset will do the job
I've tried and have (almost?) all currently available haptics headsets, here's my two cents: >**Razer Kraken v3 haptic/ pro if you want wireless/**: The kraken v3 is alright. Worse haptics than the nari in my opinion. If you go for them I'd get the wired version over the wireless. The wireless has the most annoying low battery notification on the planet - it beeps at you every single minute when the battery is low (25% i think) which is unbearable for me. >**Razer Nari Ultimate (if you want wireless and can get it in good condition second hand)**: The nari is still the best thing I've ever used in terms of comfort. The sound quality and the battery life are pretty meh. Fortunately there are tutorials on how to replace/upgrade the battery. I bought them on launch, sold them a year later because I decided to get rid of all my razer peripherals, bought it again second hand on amazon in 2023, because it is just so good, lol. >**Corsair HS60 Haptic if you want wired, but not razer:** The HS60 is alright. Probably a bit better sound quality than the kraken v3 and nari. Nothing to write home about though. You gotta customize your EQ in iCUE if you go for it though, the flat EQ is horrible, as is on all the others I mentioned, lol. >**Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2:** If you want bluetooth (latency is noticeable during games so it's only good for youtube/music), you can use it wired for gaming (still have to turn it on for the haptics). It is my bluetooth go-to for the gym. Good battery life, alright audio quality and massive haptics. I also use it on my PC (via bluetooth) sometimes when I listen to music and I don't want to drain the Nari. If you don't want wireless I'd honestly go for whatever is the cheapest. I can't tell you anything about the microphones on these headsets as I have a dedicated mic I use. Ps. I've also tried the Kraken v4 pro in a razer store and they felt quite heavy, but with good build quality. The audio and haptics were alright for the short period of time I could use it, but the haptics options in synapse 4 made no noticeable difference to me. Probably gonna have to cough a few hundred $ and buy it to test further, but god damn it's stupidly overpriced. And I'll probably still like it less than the nari lol. Good luck.
Using Razer kraken 7.1 since 2021. It has a cold gel ear cushion & mostly I use it for long sessions because of gaming & sound enhancement. Except the leather everything is pretty fine & still works perfectly. I don't know much about Logitech but you can go with the hyperx series if it comes under 5k. The only downside is it doesn't have a retractable mic ( cloud stinger x ) which can be pretty annoying if you want a clean headphone look Sennheiser hd400s is under 5k now. It has a pretty decent sound range also, So you can check that out too.
Don't get the usb version.. the type is prone to break easily.. also the driver size is small ( around 40 mm) Instead try to get the kraken v3 which has 50mm driver size which can deliver better sound quality , mic quality & also support spatial audio support. The cable is braided. Also it comes with a usb A version & you can get a dongle for around 250 if you wanna use it on your phone or any tablet you have. Also you can easily detach the microphone from the headphone if you want a clean look.
I like the razer wired kraken with the mic that lights up when it is muted.
I love the wired razor series I’ve had a few and friends often comment how crisp and clean mine sounds and never have to recharge. Meanwhile in big gaming sessions they have to talk through their remote because their headset dies
Honestly I have no idea what any of the ones I’ve ever had were. But both have lasted me over 5 years. Who comes up with the naming of them anyway. Kraken I believe is my current one
