"I also love the replaceable battery and how the spare is always ready to go because it's charging in the DAC."
"And yeah, those batteries were a huge selling point for me lol."
"It also allows you to replace the battery in a matter of seconds and includes a spare battery that charges inside the DAC so you're never low on battery."

"If you're also a console player or use your headset with multiple devices simultaneously, definitely the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless ... the Steelseries one has audio controls on its DAC with two USB and one 3.5 mm input (as well as an output for speakers and such) and can also connect to a Bluetooth device."
"have some really nice daily-use QOL stuff like the Bluetooth phone mix-in to main"
"has a better bluetooth range"

"My Wireless Arctis Nova Pros are my daily driver because of how comfortable they are to use. ... Iv had my wireless Arctis Nova Pros for about 2 years now and I didn't even know there was a nub until I read this post."

"The Nova Pro's have a nub on the inside of the ear cup for the noise canceling that sticks out quite far and it hits my ear. ... I can only wear the headphones for about an hour before my ears start to ache from that nub putting pressure on them. ... I've even gotten the thicker set of Wicked Cushions to try and get the nub away from my ear, but it still bothers me."
"But the headband is the worst, you can not adjust it enough to accommodate the “sag” it gets over time (the band stretches massively). ... I did use a headpolster from another headset to squish in between, so the headset is at least on top of my ears."
"One minor complaint I saw people had for the Pro was the piece in the left earcup poking them while wearing (think I heard it was the noise cancelling or something)"

"Steelseries just keeps resetting my default devices after each update of the app or GPU drivers update."
None of them they are all trash. My wife has the 7P and it is TERRIBLE. I recommend the nova pro wireless ps version. Mic is way better, drivers and audio quality way better. Has its own receiver for 2x inputs so you can have it plugged into a pc and a ps5 at same time. It’s just a way better product.
Anything where you can listen to Bluetooth audio in addition to your gameplay. I have a Steel Series set for PS5 and the official Xbox wireless headset for my Xbox. Both great.
My steelseries nova pro x have been amazing 2 years+ now. This model was designed specifically for xbox and i love them I think they are around $200 now or may be a bit above the 200 range.
Audio differences between the Nova and the 7P+ are minimal. I owned the 7P+ before I upgraded to the nova and let me tell you the two major points that I noticed were better. 1: The fabric headband that the 7P+ uses gets stretched out over time and needs replacing, whereas on the Nova you can buy rubber ones and you won’t have the same issue. 2: The Novas support simultaneous 2.4 ghz and Bluetooth connections. So you can have it connected to both a PS5 and a phone and hear audio from both simultaneously. There’s also the fact that with the 7P+, you have to connect it to your PC to mess with its audio settings and adjust its EQ. I’m told the Gen 2 Novas now have mobile app support. I’d go with Nova
Some of us like ballin out because we can. Sorry if that hurts your feelings. The fact is these have features no other product has, period.
I guess the main ones are 3 usb inputs, dual USB input mixing, with 4 total simultaneous connections. Other improvements are best ANC, much improved mic, and incredible sound and build quality.
I came to say, after trying these and my pros back to back while gaming. The Elite is crazy good. But the price is also crazy.
I have 2 consoles but mainly game on pc , i want a headset that i dont need to switch a dongle , has anc , swappable batteries , which is why i have the nova pros , If these are just better nova pros then i will either save a bit and get them or bday / xmas gift These high end products are not big sellers but alot of people will pay an extra hundo or 2 to get something higher end they would use for years
Yes , nova elites are wireless , Nobody is buying the elites for only sound quality , the first reason anyone is looking at this is the wireless capability and everything comes after
Yes sir , my problem being is this headset worth DOUBLE the price of the normal nova pro which has the same funtionality , no way it can sound that much better
Wayyyy too many comments talking about getting audiophile setups or wired setups that are not compatible with all the same platforms , You will need 3 different headsets ( maybe 2 ) to replace this headset , only comparrison that should be given is if the normal nova pro or the astros are a better buy at the price because they are 2 headsets that can work on all platform without swapping a dongle around Stop bringing up audiophile or wired setups unless you are adding another headset or 2 that need to be purchased for the consoles
I completely understand you but a lot of people are fine with a wire because you won't move around a lot when gaming at your desk. I hate the pull from it, so I moved to wireless headphones and mice a while back but I also use a wired desk mic and non-gamer mechanical keyboards. However, to give you my 2 cents why the Nova Elite is a bad product, I would compare them with the Sony Inzone H9 II. I'd say that is a much better wireless headset at about half the price.
I bought these. Absolute crap and will never buy Steel series again.
You said it's overpriced ? But for 600 bucks for Elite it's normal ? I have now Elite and ordered M2, but I can say Elite is a good headset, but also overpriced, it should cost 400 bucks, leave the pleather bag out and make some different materials, and it would costs cheaper, we need a sound for a normal price, not the pleather bag 😂🤙
