"The macros are fairly easy to use, but, for some reason the macro keynrecord doesn't want to read key typing. I get around this easily with the direct add inputs options. ... I've actually been surprised with how well the macro buttons are working. The record key function doesn't, but after inputing the via command, it's been perfect. ... Here is the key macro framing I use to do in-game crafting while I'm not at home."
"If you need dedicated macro KB keys, then the K100 is about the only choice."
"i need the G-Keys for some actions in world of warcraft."

"Do not get this keyboard. Had it for awhile and the macro keys have never worked properly ... Idk I’ve tried a number of different ways to do very simple things and it just doesn’t work. ... I tried asking Corsair support they pretty much just said “yeah it’s the software, sorry” and that was it ... And for $300 everything better work properly every time"

"This function is only possible with magnetic switches, so if you are interested in such a function, do not choose the k100."
No one knows if the K100 successor keyboard will be released. Corsair releases information about upcoming products at events like Computex and CES, but information about such products(k100) was not released there. The recently released keyboard is a custom keyboard called MAKR75 with a 75% layout. This is currently only available for order from custom lab on the Corsair webstore, and if you choose the full option, it is more expensive than the K100. The K100 Midnight Gold is an optical switch keyboard with macro keys. The K70 PRO TKL uses magnetic switches. The Makr75 is a product that uses regular mechanical switches that are hot-swappable. They all have different characteristics, so refer to the product page before making a decision.
r/Corsair • Keyboards ->The K100 Midnight Gold is just a special edition. It is not a limited edition. So it is registered occasionally. However, no one knows when it will be registered. It would be better to search other shopping malls like Amazon and eBay. Anyway, if you care about new products that you don't know when they will be released, it is difficult to buy new ones. This is the same everywhere, but anyway, at this point, there is no news about the successor to the K100. And the optical switch is strictly speaking an IR switch. It is a switch that operates when the key is input by the detection state of the IR sensor. Therefore, the input distance is short. Therefore, there are many cases where typos occur due to incorrect keyboard presses, so please refer to it. Also, the k100 does not have the switch lubrication that Corsair recently upgraded or the double damper for noise prevention inside the keyboard. The magnetic switch keyboards that are mostly chosen for recent gaming keyboards are all switches that have the rapid trigger function. This function is only possible with magnetic switches, so if you are interested in such a function, do not choose the k100. The difference between Dark Core Pro and Se is that Se has been upgraded to use Qi charging for wireless charging. I currently own three Darkcore mice, both Pro and Se. There is no difference in anything else. However, the switch of this mouse is Omron's switch, not the optical switch that recent mice adopt, so the double-click issue is bound to occur over time. And the downside of this mouse is that the surface of the mouse is coated, and over time, the coating peels off due to hand sweat or cosmetics. Many Corsair mice have this issue. The recently released ones have a different coating method, so there is no such issue, but Dark Core has this issue. And I personally do not recommend Corsair mice. I used Corsair mice until a few years ago, but not anymore. The problem with the wheel part is that it is a recurring problem across all products and Corsair still has not been able to improve it. Anyway, I'm currently using Razer's Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse.
r/Corsair • Keyboards ->I personally love corsair keyboards, first mechanical was a k55, then a k95 rgb platinum, now on a k100 rgb platinum. I
r/buildapc • What are you go to Keyboards? ->Love my k100 very sensitive like others have said though. Which is a blessing and a curse in and of itself. That and the edges can be… sharp lol
r/Corsair • just bought this corsair keyboard ->Ngl when I got my k100 1-9 on the top were a different color than the color I selected . Everything was up to date and then eventually a few days later it sorted itself out?! Idk I’m not sure if that’s going to be the case for you but definitely the keyboards are finicky
r/Corsair • just bought this corsair keyboard ->mine's been great other than the volume rocker being wonky. after the warranty expired when you raise or lower the volume it goes all over the place.
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->If it's wasn't for icue crapping itself I'd say the k100 is the best (loose control of the gkeys in the stream deck app) I used to have the k60 rgb pro but every 4 - 6 months I'd have to replace it as a key stem would snap. After about keyboard replacement 5 dying I swapped to the k100 and it's been the best for the last few years, no issues. Comes with the perk of being soo loud it pisses my mum off
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->I have been struggling keeping my old Razor Blackwidow, and it finally died. I decided a long time ago that my next keyboard was going to be a Corsair. So I went with another mechanical keyboard with programmable buttons on the side and a full number pad. I have no regrets what so ever! A significant improvement all around. The keys are precise and almost too responsive. It feels good to use. The macros are fairly easy to use, but, for some reason the macro keynrecord doesn't want to read key typing. I get around this easily with the direct add inputs options. Anyone know why this is? That aside, 9/10 with a point off for the usual unfriendly iCue use and maybe a glitch, as noted.

r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->To wrong the macro I uses these three dot options https://preview.redd.it/sm7umbvqbsge1.png?width=216&format=png&auto=webp&s=f62da9da6f3df962785acff764236ebe9ddd5c02
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->I got the Corsair K100 and had a Razer Blackwidow Chroma before, the K100 is so good for being $80 I think I got it for.
r/buildapcsales • [Keyboard] DROP - The Lord of the Rings TKL Wired Speech Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Black Lands $110 ($229 - $119) ->Love the k100 only thing is i like tactile switches that is the only struggle but its no problem with the opx linear ones. i need the G-Keys for some actions in world of warcraft. i bought mine 2023 after my logitech g910 died. I also have the nexus but i cant recommend it, dont but it.
r/Corsair • Best keyboard I've ever had. K100 ->www.rtings.com I personally got the Corsair K100 keyboard and it's awesome.
