It is a regular mechanical keyboard with no 'clicky' sounds. Not sure how to describe it, but it's firm. I do believe there are videos of sound tests with the various keycaps, but the ones i got were Cherry MX Silent.

Coffeecoasters 0.5My corsair k70 rgb pro mechanical with brown switches is perfection. I own 3 now. My whole family uses them. Its a little over budget but its been quality. They may have cheaper models that fit the bill too.
