"Had it for 3 years, I still use it as a daily driver.."

"They are great quality ... It's probably worth spending 150£ on one that will last you 5 years and that you will change because you want to rather than because you need to!"

"I have the Q3 keyboard, it is EXTREMELY HEAVY. I mean, I can’t move it by one hand as it is basically a solid aluminum ingot. ... So yeah, I never move it and I am very satisfied with it!"

"So far the only "real gamer" keyboard to date to be considered is the recent HE variants due to its rapid trigger feature ... more specifically targetted towards fps players that are willing to tinker each and every key press on how they want it to respond. ... Most HE variants offers all keys to be modified if desired since the very switches themselves have the HE features, so some would only changed the main WASD and others would utitlized tinkering the whole keys ... this is mostly catered towards fps players that have the intent on tinkering."

"HE features are super useful in games ... They're generally better for gaming because of customisation and stuff like analogue input and rapid trigger."

"The Q3 seems nice enough, but I've become super dependent on macros and customisation, so VIA/QMK or Launcher support is a must for me."

understanding you a bit better, honestly wouldn’t touch the primarily gaming brands, i’ve had quite a few logitechs in my time and nothing compares to the keychron q1 i’ve had for like six months and i’ll never look at big brand “gaming keyboards” again. a Keychron Q3 Max specifically has the same % keyboard as your steelseries and it’s a large sum cheaper considering you can customise things like switch types. hope this helps

Yes, be sure to check the correct category.. they got "everything".. the v series is definately good, like others said. I got a q3.. I like cables. Had it for 3 years, I still use it as a daily driver.. got more expensive boards "on the wall".

For gaming, really anything with an HE on the end. Q HE are high-end, K HE are less fancy, but still very nice imo. There's almost no reason to buy a non-HE Keychron keyboard for gaming. Cost is about the same, HE features are super useful in games, and the switches sound pretty good now.

So you're looking for 75–100%. I can recommend something from the Keychron Q series. Plenty of really clean boards there, and they have keycaps with secondary legends for stuff like media control. A lot of them also have macro columns that can be assigned to various functions.

I tried both 515 and 915 logitech and they are terrible, they feel and sound very cheap, returned them immediately. Dont know about asus tho... I ended up getting a Keychron q3 max, check it out.

I’m in love with Keychron Q HE series. I’m using a Q1 HE while waiting for a Q3 HE from Taobao for 200 shipped. Q5 HE is the full sized option and was similarly priced.

Hi, I'm just looking for additional opinions on keyboards to check out. My prior keyboard was a WASD Code V3 (I think?) and I loved it until it broke, would have bought another if they were out of business. Over the last 6 months i've been struggling with a Keychron Q3 Max but the board had a huge QC issue and am getting a refund, not sure I want to roll the dice with them again. My priorities: I don't care about hotswapping, just want something to work well out of the box, prefer tactile switches similar to the Browns I've been using, and prefer a TKL/80% layout. Any advice?

I've been really happy with my Keychron Q3 HE. I believe it can do everything the Wooting can (someone correct me if I'm wrong) plus it's available in white.
