"couldn't be easily replaced as they made a proprietary switch ... cant be replaced or locked in to paying a fortune for trying to get replacement sets as logitech dont sell them and they are really so hard to come across. ... I sed to see ones for 60+ euro and they are limited im guessing unless someone starts 3d printing them."

"Or can i “just” change switches on my 915?"

"Sucks that we can’t replace key caps"

I recommend going wireless if you can, I have the same mouse paired with a g915 wireless keyboard and it looks much cleaner on my desk

I had this and it was awesome until my dogs tail spilled beer all over it and it stopped working. Back to the G915 for now, still happy with this KB but I think I liked the K100 air slightly better

Logitech 915 full sized with the tactile keys (brown iirc). But over the last many years if flight sims I've used at least 10 different keyboards. I'd say if you're in VR you want something with a definite feel to it so you know you've pushed a button, but enough resistance so you can't accidentally press them. Other than that it really doesn't matter

I had g915 full for a while, keys don’t feel too special. Rgb customisation is insane, software is really good. Connectivity and utility buttons are quite handy too. I never had any issue with spacebar. The metallic body is really nice too. But price for this thing really high. I got it for free from a cousin for few months, so i dont have anything to complain about lol. If u arent hesitant the money then sure its a nice keyboard but u can surely find better ones for price too.

The key caps are not like the usual boxy shape but instead they are quite slim, almost like a plate. Bad analogy but i hope u understand. I used it for both coding and gaming. Performed really well in gaming. Anti ghosting thing was really helpful too. And it switches profile when u launch certain apps, for example: if u play valorant, then the moment u launch the app, it will automatically switch to the profile u have configured for valorant. That feature was really cool.

The old one (non-X) has the right alt a bit longer (reaching bit further to the left). However small the change may seem to be - it is really a big change when using right alt for national characters (non english writers). This is noticeable when writing (probably not - when playing). And for me (lots of typing) this IS important.

Logitech's G915 is a really solid keyboard. I have the wireless one, and I've never noticed any sort of input delay. Sorry your younger brother did this. Hopefully your parents make him buy your new one. Sincerely, someone's little brother

This is a really really difficult purchase choice now, 3 months later. I use the Clicky version of these and the 915 X is full(ish) price of 220-250 dollars and the OG 915 is ..... 120. It's half the price. With that said...those old keys on the 915 are virtually guaranteed to wear off in the WASD area. Now that I have the G502 X Plus as well, the 915X multi-device dongle sounds great.

Looking for wireless gaming keyboard with extra keys Hi everyone, I recently had to RMA my Logitech G915 after just a few months because my WSAD wore out completely. The prints were gone, which was disappointing for "high-end" keyboard. So, I'm back in the market for a new **wireless keyboard**, and I’d appreciate some suggestions. Here’s what I’m looking for: * **Wireless connectivity**: Ideally both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz (so I can connect to two devices at the same time). * **Durable build**: I’m a gaming enthusiast, so something solid that will last a while. * **Extra programmable keys**: I used to own an A4Tech X7 G800, which had the best layout I ever saw. It had a dedicated "push-to-talk" key near the spacebar that I used all the time with TeamSpeak/Discord and plenty other extra keys all around the keyboard. Wish they bring it back. * **Decent keycap quality**: I liked the G915's layout and features, but the keycap quality was a letdown. So, no more Logitech keyboards for now even though I’ve been a big fan. * **RGB lighting**: I don’t need full rainbow effects, but I game in the dark, so backlighting is a must. If anyone has a recommendation that ticks most of these boxes, I’d really appreciate your input. Thanks!

My favorites are the Logitech G815/G915 and the Glorious GMMK 3 100%. I’m currently using the Glorious.
