Shortcut Studio - Bridge 75

Bridge 75 or Rainy 75. I have the Bridge 75 and out of the box it sounds amazing! I love it.

I have a bridge75. Swapped the switches to baby kangaroos and replaced the keycaps with some shine throughs off Amazon.

Drop is so far behind the curve in the keyboard market, it’s gotten embarrassing. I bought a MassDrop ALT a long time ago, went back to see what cool new keyboards they sold after about 8 years, same shit, no innovation as the rest of the market passed them by. Amazon has better options for half the price now. Shit, I paid less than $100 for what is now my favorite keyb, the Bridge 75.

I went for the Bridge 75 and I do not regret a single thing about it. Even though it did not have the place to store the wireless usb dongle, it has not bothered me as I have not had any need to move the keyboard much (considering you will be getting a gaming PC, this may not be much of a deal breaker). The wireless toggle switch hasn't been changed since I have turned it on when I received the board initially as it needs a sharp tool to reach through under the cover. I have not felt any latency with wireless using the 2.4ghz dongle and is as good as wired. Regarding Bluetooth which I have not tested much, but it works really well for mobiles and tablets based from my experience. I got the black colorway where I feel that the stock keycaps have been great so far. Customizing it won't be a problem due to the ball-catch mechanism. So far, I have not yet thought of customizing from the couple of months I've had it stock. The stock switches also sound immaculate with the thocky princess switches as they sound really marbly and smooth. This has caught me off how well built it is for a budget friendly the price is. For FPS games, 75% layout and mechanical switches should not affect you much as you would not be going for the hall effect regardless. I don't play much fps games now but I presume as you would be hovering more towards the WASD keys, there really isn't much difference with any keyboards - you might get a bit of fatigue at the start changing over from a laptop though, but nothing that a wrist rest cannot fix. In terms of effective typing speed, I can confidently say that I was able to be 15% faster with the Bridge 75 in any typing tests I have done so far. This has been my daily driver for both work and leisure and can say that it has been the best <$100 keyboard investment I've made.

I will assume MMORPGs don't require a numpad, so the form factors will likely be 80% and below Bridge75 (MMD Princess switches that came with mine are 10 grams lighter than Cherry MX Reds so that might be awkward for you, though it is hot swappable so you can swap out the switches for any of your preference WITHOUT soldering) Mchose GX87 (has an F13 key!) Lucky65 v2 (it's a barebones kit, meaning you need to source the switches and keycaps. I'd recommend something like Akko v3 cream black pro and any keycap set you find of your liking) None of these are hall effect, so it's *technically* not the best in terms of gaming, but I don't think it would help an average gamer significantly in fps games unless you one day decide to pick up racing games

Check out the Bridge 75. I ordered one last week and it sounds absolute heavenly stock - no volume knob though.

I recently got a Bridge75 Max and it is incredible. Feels extremely high quality.

I keep having keyboard disconnect issues. This has happened across two boards now, gmk pro and now my Bridge75. I'll be playing games and suddenly lose all keyboard response, esc key flashes for a few seconds and then the keyboard reconnects. Always wired never wireless. Originally thought it was just the gmk pro, tried different USB ports, cables, still kept happening. Thought a new board would solve the issue. Not yet.

The case is aluminium, you can easily click the case open with the ball-catch, it’s hot swappable, and the sound is very nice. The pink coating also has subtle glitter. 💖
