"its lasted me 4 times as long as any of the Nagas I had ... It's honestly worth spending a bit more on it. You will save money in the long run by not having to replace it as often."

"you don't have to text support within the first months of owning it :)"

"Scimitar 4th year no problems."

"Perfect size and ergonomics"

"Yeah it’s definitely chunky, which is perfect for me personally"

"You can also move the side button panel on the Scimitar to match your hand size and comfort (its biggest selling point)."

"ease of pressing the right buttons for strict WoW use"

"I save so much time by using it's 12 buttons as common shortcuts and phrases while programming"

"2 going on 3 years with no issues whatsoever ... use the side buttons for the bulk of my rotation so I've smashed those buttons probably tens of thousands of times if not more. ... The thing is a tank."

"Been using Corsair Scimitar with the microswitch side buttons for years. ... Very happy with it."

"Saving the profile to the mouse memory fixes this. ... Then you can use it in any computer and it just works. ... I don’t even run the icue software anymore. ... You still initially save it through icue, but you use one of the 3 hardware spots on the actual mouse. ... Iv’e gifted 3 of these to friends who play with me, I opened each mouse and saved a profile so they wouldn’t have to mess with it. Plug them in and it’s ready to go."

"Works fine tbh ... Once you get it setup, you're pretty much good."

"their software is literally a piece of steaming dog shit. ... It's completely broken for me, I can't uninstall it ... it broke all the sound from my pc with a windows restoration being the only solution. ... Now I have to use the mouse as is, without any settings or macros. ... So first the software stopped working, couldn't recognize my mouse from one minute to the next. No settings work, can't change buttons. ... after deleting the software I got no sound. All my sound drivers were intact and everything, but no sound at all. ... So now I just have the useless broken iCue taking up space on my pc, and the program looks like a GPU glitch when opened, only that program. ... It's the most horrendous piece of software I've ever had the unfortune to install. ... I've literally had pc viruses that were easier to get rid of. ... the program forces me to update. And I can't uninstall to begin with."

"My scimitar would randomly "unplug/replug" itself (Windows USB sound would play) ... and then it would forget all custom keybinds until I rebooted...often in the middle of a key. ... I chucked it out the window after a year of pain"

"And the iCue software is a mess. ... Mutiple times it broke completely and I could only fix it by doing a complete reinstall. ... While that seems fixed, now it just refuses to launch on startup."

"Please avoid the Corsair Scimitar normal or Elite, they have a know flaw related to the scroll wheel, it brakes so easily ending up clicking but not rolling. ... I have 3 of them in my electronic graveyard drawer."

"their shitty scroll wheel keeps destorying itself"

"You **will** experience the mouse wheel fucking up (registering up scrolls as down and downs as ups on some of the clicks)"

"had it twice, both times broke in under 6 months, don't want to ever buy it again"

"mine ultimately failed because of the common issue that happens due to the plastic they use for the top housing being softer than the switches they use on the left / right click so as you continue to use it eventually the switch indents the plastic and it stops actuating."

"Yeah it’s definitely chunky, which is perfect for me personally but if you have smaller hands it might not be great."

"Only downside about it for me is that it has no removable weights and is on the heavier side, so it doesn’t perform as well when playing shooters, but that’s a small issue for me."

"it was just too heavy a mouse for me"

"I also found the side buttons to be too "flush" with each other ... I also found the numbers on the side to be too flush with each other, making it easy to misclick or click multiple buttons at once"

"the buttons are in an very awkward position if you try to use anything past the first 2 columns ... If you move the numpad forward then the first buttons are hard to reach. If you move the numpad backward then the last buttons are hard to reach"

"The Scimitar buttons also didn't feel as good as the Naga"

[BEST MMO MOUSE](https://amzn.to/3TW7vJH) I have used just about every MMO mouse on the market and the only one that fits my hand comfortably is the Corsair Scimitar. The other ones I have tried felt too small in my hand and also a little flimsy. Link to the wireless one my wife and I both use.

[Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless MMO Mouse](https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/gaming-mouse/ch-9314311-na/scimitar-elite-wireless-mmo-gaming-mouse-ch-9314311-na) I used the wired version for years. I got it when it first came out. Then, when the wireless one was released in 2023, I bought it right away and have been using it without any issues for two years. It's the best MMO mouse I've used so far, but it's expensive. I don't think I can switch to anything else since my hand is now used to its numpad.

You're right, although the software is lighter than before, it still has issues. Since my RAM, liquid cooler, and ambient lighting are all Corsair, having a Corsair mouse gives me the advantage of managing everything with a single software. That's why I can overlook some of the bugs.

Weight doesn't really matter much if all you do is non-competitive games, but I play a mix of most game genres and after switching from a scimitar (corsair's mmo moise) to a lightweight deathadder I don't think I can go back. My aimlabs score on multiple tests improved by like 20-30%. The deathadder with the AA battery is a good bit heavier I think

I bought a Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless several months ago and it's doing well so far, but it's the first mouse I've ever had with more than 2 buttons on the thumb side as extras. I like that the position of the number keys under the thumb can be adjusted backward and forward, but if I make it so the farthest forward keys are comfortable then the farthest back keys are kinda awkward to hit and vice-versa. I heard the same about the Logitech when I first started looking to get an MMO mouse and was bummed to find out it had been discontinued.

I had the scimitar elite for a long time, and the only reason I bought a new mouse is because I wanted to upgrade to the wireless scimitar. I love this thing.
