"Customisable buttons, with a 'shift' modifier. ... I made shortcuts for Task Manager, screen clip, emoji list, and account lock. All instant, from a mouse click. Also makes life easier."

"Customisable buttons, with a 'shift' modifier. Most people don't use these enough. I made shortcuts for Task Manager, screen clip, emoji list, and account lock. All instant, from a mouse click. Also makes life easier."

"Binding keys and actions to my G502 is what made the entry to MnK gaming much more accessible and manageable for me. ... If I had to stick my finger out any further than the V key or towards the numbers row when I made the switch from console to PC, I would've had a lot more trouble getting into it"

"extra buttons are actually *ergonomic* instead that weird grid formation"

"I also mapped the front 'thumb key' to left click. This helps avoid strain injury - I have a second left-click on my thumb!"

"It's ergonomic. Your right hand should be tilted to the right, in the resting position - and this mouse allows that. No need for an 'upright' mouse..."

"G502 because it has a button to let the scroll wheel free wheel. That's saying enough"

"If you use a tractor beam, Logitech mice with the freewheel. Mx3 or the 502 are awesome. ... You're missing the fun of the spinny wheel!"

"The infinite scroll. ... For long pages, coding, and using so many apps (even 3D modelling, game engines etc). It makes life so much easier. Once you're past the learning curve, you can't go back. It's like scrolling on a phone screen."

"I’ve had mine for around a decade with minimal issues."

"Survived a lot, especially during playing League."

"Bought mine for ~$40 and it's lasted for 4 years so far."

"Customizable weight"

"The 502 hero feels better built and better weight"

"Thing is a brick ... After using light weight mice it's hard to go back to that weight."

"yeah i used to get wrist pain after 3 or 4 matches of Valorant. ... It was a bad habit i developed while using the G502."

"much easier and less straining on the hand, unlike the G502, during flicks and stuff."

"But every freakin mouse gets double click issues."

"Invariably they all let me down, usually with the switches failing for either the left or right button in a short amount of time."

"I kept having the switch in the left mouse button fail."

"my biggest gripe is HAVING to use the newer G software, hate it. ... the older one was so much more friendly imo."

"Logitech software is poorly designed."

"G Hub software is meh. ... I set my colors, DPI, and shut it off, never to be used again."

Logitech G9x. I have two. It's my favorite fps mouse. My dailies are Logitech Lift and a G502 Hero.

g502 hero is really nice, my only complaint is that despite having it practically always closed, my weights ended up rusting, but I continue to use it without any problem

You will also feel a difference once you remove all the weights from your G502 Check these out: * [Razer Cobra](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Razer-Cobra-Lightweight-Underglow-Adjustments/dp/B0C5XNRVWM/ref=sr_1_6?sr=8-6) * [Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Wireless-Lightweight-Programmable-compatible/dp/B07CGPZ3ZQ/ref=sr_1_5?sr=8-5)

You can go for the Razer Cobra. I started using the G502 in 2016, and it stopped working in 2022. After that, I switched to the Razer Basilisk V3, but it stopped working last month. Now I’m back to using the G502, though I’m planning to switch to the PRO X Superlight 2 DEX Wireless.

I use wasd for movement. I press 1-5 with my fingers. 6-0 is on my mouse, I have a Logitech G502 Hero I bought solely for playing this game. I have action camera bound to q, special ability to e (it used to be - and I'm not reaching that far to press it), f is for interaction, right shift for dodge, x for mounting. I main a Reaper so I just have to reach for F1 for shroud. All the keys I need are around wasd or within reach of my left hand, and I do not touch the keyboard with my right hand. I'm middle aged and have been playing on computers with keyboards and mice since I was a kid, so muscle memory is strong. I struggled when I was a teenager to switch from cursor keys to wasd, but it's now normal.

I recently changed my 6yo g502 hero for the g502 x, little improvements but the soul it's the same, I can't use othe mouses, I always use the infinite scroll and I like that shape. For the older one I just have to complain that the switch can miss clicks after some years but maybe it's just normal use, the x versions has optical ones, also the lightspeed?

I retired my G502 HERO a few month ago after years of service. Got a new one without even remotely thinking about it. It's such a good mouse for its price!

The G502 with weights was a dream... It was such an amazing piece of technology. I loved it. It broke, I bought it's replacement, the G502 Hero, and I loved it as well. One day I felt wrist pain. It was predominant on the rotating of my wrist to grasp a mouse. I've had 'carpel tunnel' like pain before, but temporary and fleeting (rolling pizza dough most notably).... After that scare, I bought a vertical mouse, the Logitech Lift. After a short period of use, and AMAZINGLY not feeling any pain, I brought it home and made my work order me the MX Vertical... Flat, 90° wrist rotational, mice are against our natural movement and stance for our forearms, I will never go back to a 'flat' mouse.
