"G502 had it for 5 years so good"

"my OG one is still going strong since release ... is built like a tank"

"I’ve had mine for around a decade with minimal issues."

"Binding keys and actions to my G502 is what made the entry to MnK gaming much more accessible and manageable for me. ... If I had to stick my finger out any further than the V key or towards the numbers row when I made the switch from console to PC, I would've had a lot more trouble getting into it"

"extra buttons are actually *ergonomic* instead that weird grid formation"

"Customisable buttons, with a 'shift' modifier. ... I made shortcuts for Task Manager, screen clip, emoji list, and account lock. All instant, from a mouse click. Also makes life easier."

"extra buttons are actually *ergonomic* instead that weird grid formation"

"I also mapped the front 'thumb key' to left click. This helps avoid strain injury - I have a second left-click on my thumb!"

"it is also super comfy ... Honestly I used the g502 and it was really comfortable"

"G502 because it has a button to let the scroll wheel free wheel. That's saying enough"

"If you use a tractor beam, Logitech mice with the freewheel. Mx3 or the 502 are awesome. ... You're missing the fun of the spinny wheel!"

"The infinite scroll. ... For long pages, coding, and using so many apps (even 3D modelling, game engines etc). It makes life so much easier. Once you're past the learning curve, you can't go back. It's like scrolling on a phone screen."

"the tried and true Logitech G502 is just as good as a fraction of the price."

"Bought mine for ~$40 and it's lasted for 4 years so far."

"perfectly happy with my aging G502 I picked up on black Friday deal nearly a decade ago"

"But every freakin mouse gets double click issues."

"For Logitech it was double clicks."

"I kept having the switch in the left mouse button fail."

"it was too small and cramped for my hands ... The G502 and Basilisk thumb area is a bit cramped. I don't have thick fingers, but long ones and my thumbs are a bit wider at the tips than on most people."

"The Teevolution Terra fills the hand much better than my G502 does"

"Large ... But the shape can't be for everyone."

"Thing is a brick ... After using light weight mice it's hard to go back to that weight."

"the weight is way too much even for work."

"Only cons would be weight for some"

I use a 144hz screen, I have a G502 and an MX3s. Honestly yeah the G502 is more responsive, but the MX3s is way more comfortable. I just switch between them depending on what I need to do.

I curse the person who came up with the idea that the braided wire should be changed to rubber. They did several budget cuts on this poor thing. I tried to change, bought a new one and returned it immediately after i seen how much budget cuts they did on this. My poor g502 spectrum is still serving me after 8 years.

Yep, got 3 of them and none of them have had any issues so far, going strong for 5+ years on all of them. After a terrible experience with SteelSeries mice, this one was a revelation.

Lightspeed? No idea what that means, mine is a G502 Proteus Core. just kidding, my G502 is from the first G502 series (2014ish) and still going strong. The perfect mouse for me.

Yeah, I've had the G502 Proteus Spectrum, the G502 Hero (because I broke the Spectrum) and now G502X Lightspeed and damn do I love this thing.

It’s kinda random compared to his remaining collection - that’s what I meant. Personally I’m still on my Proteus Spectrum after almost 10 years, stock except skates, never had issue with clicks or buttons. Never had problems with GHub as well and love its features.

Same! Nothing was wrong with my last one i used it for like 5 years I just wanted another new one. That replacement has lasted me another 5 years and has given me no issues. I wish the newer ones had customizable weight though :(

I just bought my second G502. Had my original Proteus Spectrum for years, then got the Hero last week from Currys in the UK. I think they made a mistake as it only cost me £16.99! Bargain 👍
