"The infinite scroll. ... For long pages, coding, and using so many apps (even 3D modelling, game engines etc). It makes life so much easier. Once you're past the learning curve, you can't go back. It's like scrolling on a phone screen."

"G502 because it has a button to let the scroll wheel free wheel. That's saying enough"

"If you use a tractor beam, Logitech mice with the freewheel. Mx3 or the 502 are awesome. ... You're missing the fun of the spinny wheel!"

"Three thumb buttons plus two next to the LMB ... I find it's enough ... I've struggled with actual MMO mice being uncomfortable to use"

"binding strafe to the two side buttons having character movement completely dedicated to my right hand. ... feel really improved my gameplay ... Also binded the other two macro buttons next to left click as modifiers (like alt/ctrl) for more keybind options. ... It frees up your left hand completely for just using abilities allowing you to reach more buttons/have more keybinds."

"I believe this is the main reason mice like the G502 are as popular as they are; 2-3 more buttons than the standard lightweight gaming mouse ... i know many dont, but i prefer having crouch/jump on my mouse so i can slide cancel or dropshot easier for example. ... agreed, or gray zone, or arma, or apex, or the finals ... in something like arma where you have helicopter x and y axis, both leans and ready stances, as well as countless other nuance, a couple extra buttons your left hand doesnt have to focus on makes a difference ... i can reload and run at same time because run is pinky, and reload is index, but to do both takes my index off of d, where reload on mouse doesnt effect aim or motion because im still on wasd and...im reloading, so not shooting anyway. ... on the contrary, most people do use them thus the popularity of the g502. in this sub, we assume the GPX is the best-selling, most used mouse, but its really the g502 by a mile and its despite its shape and weight definitely not because of it. studies/polls into this show its overwhelmingly because of the number of buttons, and that having 1 button over the razer basilisk makes a huge difference in sales."

"G502 fits my meat mallets."

"Reason I always get a new g502 is the button placement for using mouse4 as my crouch is just too perfect /comfortable"

"it lays nice in my hand ... feels nice in my hand"

"Literally too heavy and causes me wrist pain lmao. ... I bought a 502x as like a "let's see" and it was immediately giving me wrist pain."

"I use a g502 with all weights attached 💀💀 ... I switch between a g502 and a g pro super light and the difference is like running and waddling through water"

"I bought g502 x plus but it’s also with same problem and my wrist started to be in pain and today ( used it yesterday, on my way to return it ) I feel like my hand is exhausted… probably because of not possible to rest misddle of my hand…"

"Literally too heavy and causes me wrist pain lmao. ... I bought a 502x as like a "let's see" and it was immediately giving me wrist pain."

"It's too damn narrow at the grip. ... Anything under 63mm grip area width gave me cramps in my hand"

"its def not the shape or weight lol ... its really the g502 by a mile and its despite its shape and weight definitely not because of it."

Not sure if you want to but you could look up used mice as well. I managed to get mice like the G502 X, Basilisk V3, DeathAdder V2/V3 for under 30$ each (usually 1.5-2x the price new around here so it might not be an option for you). I thought the thumb rest was a necessity for me as well but in the end the DeathAdder shape is what fits my hand perfectly.

It affects battery life too much since most people are turning towards wireless. There are still some mice like G502 X Plus with lines on its back or one of the Razer Basilisk even has it on the sides so it shines on the mousepad.

G502 X PLUS. It's the best mouse I've ever had. I had the older, wired, version of the G502.

I have a G502 and it's been great, except for the braided cable having its internal wires come out on several points. It's now at my desk in the office. I got my wireless G502X Plus in the mail on Wednesday and it's great. My only gripe with the Power play system is it being 200 bucks

Well clearly they do, with my own personal experience. I had an old g700s from 2014 and it still works flawlessly after all those years of abuse. It was an awesome mouse, still have it in my drawer. I only decided to get a new one because I upgraded my setup and got new peripherals. I’ve had this g502x plus for more than 2 years, and it’s been working flawlessly just like my previous Logitech mouse. I suspect it will last me for a long time.

Idk, i have this mouse and its honestly a really good mouse. I play cs and my spray and flicks are on point thanks to the excellent feel and tracking on this mouse. I tried my mates g pro x superlight 2 and it felt too light for counter strike, i was whiffing most my shots on that mouse (probably due to me not being used to that mouse), and plus the lack of weight in those extra light mice makes them feel cheap imo. I've never once thought this mouse was heavy. Battery life is awesome as well, with the useless rgb off i get like a month of use without needing to charge it. Is this mouse just hated on because its a few grams too heavy?

I use a G502X Plus, much more sleek and not as "gamery" as the previous G502's. They have non RGB ones aswell.

My G502 Proteus Spectrum died the other day after 8 years. Had the G400 for a few years before that. Now upgrading to the G502 X Plus Wireless, hoping quality is still as durable 😅
