Not sure if you want to but you could look up used mice as well. I managed to get mice like the G502 X, Basilisk V3, DeathAdder V2/V3 for under 30$ each (usually 1.5-2x the price new around here so it might not be an option for you). I thought the thumb rest was a necessity for me as well but in the end the DeathAdder shape is what fits my hand perfectly.

r/LogitechG • Finally ascended from shitty mice with this. ->Well clearly they do, with my own personal experience. I had an old g700s from 2014 and it still works flawlessly after all those years of abuse. It was an awesome mouse, still have it in my drawer. I only decided to get a new one because I upgraded my setup and got new peripherals. I’ve had this g502x plus for more than 2 years, and it’s been working flawlessly just like my previous Logitech mouse. I suspect it will last me for a long time.

I play cs and my spray and flicks are on point thanks to the excellent feel and tracking on this mouse. I tried my mates g pro x superlight 2 and it felt too light for counter strike, i was whiffing most my shots on that mouse (probably due to me not being used to that mouse), and plus the lack of weight in those extra light mice makes them feel cheap imo. I've never once thought this mouse was heavy. Battery life is awesome as well, with the useless rgb off i get like a month of use without needing to charge it. Is this mouse just hated on because its a few grams too heavy?
