"A month ago, I switched to logitech's gaming mouse and the pain has gone !! ... the pain has completely gone, especially the index finger pain was intense and i couldn't even click."

"extra buttons are actually *ergonomic* instead that weird grid formation"
"Customisable buttons, with a 'shift' modifier. ... I made shortcuts for Task Manager, screen clip, emoji list, and account lock. All instant, from a mouse click. Also makes life easier."
"Binding keys and actions to my G502 is what made the entry to MnK gaming much more accessible and manageable for me. ... If I had to stick my finger out any further than the V key or towards the numbers row when I made the switch from console to PC, I would've had a lot more trouble getting into it"

"G502 because it has a button to let the scroll wheel free wheel. That's saying enough"
"If you use a tractor beam, Logitech mice with the freewheel. Mx3 or the 502 are awesome. ... You're missing the fun of the spinny wheel!"
"I have a Logitech g502 and I use the ability to switch between free wheel and click on the mouse wheel constantly for SC."

"It's too damn narrow at the grip. ... Anything under 63mm grip area width gave me cramps in my hand"
"The Teevolution Terra fills the hand much better than my G502 does"
the fact that a wired g502x is 70 aud rn and a wireless one is 300 is wild when i can get a keychron m3 for 75 or something more comparable to a g502 from keychron for 110 aud max, and they're amazing mice too, not just cheap garbage. just proves that you pay for the logitech name, i guess.
[Logitech G502 Hero](https://talospc.com/product/logitech-g502-hero-wired-gaming-mouse/) or [Logitech G502 X](https://talospc.com/product/logitech-g502-x-wired-gaming-mouse/). Both excellent, both not too expensive. Had to buy a 502 Hero because I need the extra buttons for macros, best mouse so far. My 402 has 3 buttons double clicking (after 6 or 7 years), and the 203 i got doesn't have the buttons (excellent budget mouse as well).
I don't know you hand size, but I found the G502X to be a bit narrow in the thumb area for me, and the Basilisk to be roomy.
G502X has 3 thumb buttons, 2 LMB side buttons, and 3 wheel buttons. ASUS Chakram X Origin has 4 thumb buttons + 4 joystick buttons on left side + wheel Steelseries Aerox 5 has 5 thumb buttons + wheel
Basilisk v3 Pro is not an ultralight at 106g. I prefer the Bas to the G502X because of the Bas has more thumb area room. Thumb placement on G502X was tighter. The Logi will have longer battery life. I have a Qi puck for the Bas v3 Pro, so I just dock it at the end of the day.
The usual suspects: Basilisk v3 series and G502X series. I prefer the Basilisk for the roomier thumb area. Plus the Basilisk v3 Pro 30K can be found on the cheap these days. The base g502x (wired) is the lightest out of all g502x variants, you just need to an elevated support to hold the cable so it doesn't touch your desk and cause friction
Can't talk about the basilisk v3 since I resold mine after 2 months, but for the g502x the first thing that broke for me was the top button that lock/unlock the wheel. Which is weird cuz it's literally the button I used the least as I never unlock the wheel. Also had some issues with the sensor, but this might be because of dust particles getting through and not the implementation itself.
I might be biased, but I never liked MMO mouses for 3 simple reasons : \- Most of them leave no empty space for the thumb \- They're all heavy asf \- I don't need 12 extra buttons on the same side. Even on the sweatiest MMO I find 12 extra mouse buttons to be overkill. The G502X is so much better and more versatile imo. The wired version is about 80g which is among the lightest mouses with that shape. It has 5 extra buttons, or 8 if you count the scroll wheel. The shape is good and while it's not the best for claw grip, it's not the worst either. It has optical switches. And overall it's just a great mouse.
I would go for the G502X wired, since the wireless version is more expensive. It has got some extra buttons that are good for productivity and you get a really nice sensor for gaming too.
I have 3 G502 in my company of friends. My G502 X Lightspeed, G502 X wired and G502 Hero wired - we all love it :)
G502x wired is pretty good, bit bulky but I like the extra buttons. G203 also a great budget mouse, also liked how light my old G203 Prodigy felt which can help if your tracking fast movement on screen.
I know you said 40, but this is peak. You might be able to find better sale in your country https://www.logitech.com/en-eu/shop/p/g502-x-wired-lightforce.910-006138 Don't go for older version, with pure mechanical buttons, as they tend to start double clicking after few years
Same, but the wired G502X
Wish I found this before I bought a Logitech G502x Wired. I've been a longtime fan of the G512 but man their quality is going lower. Hopefully with optical switches I can drag this out for 5 years or so.
