Razer basilisk mobile is true fingertip mouse, it's very short in length. Infinite scroll is good, 1k polling only and no LOD adjustment at the moment
r/MouseReview • Recommend me a mouse with "infinite scroll" for large hand + fingertip grip ->I just bought one today to give a test drive. My normal daily drivers have been the MX Master 3s for the desk, and the MX Anywhere 3s for my laptop bag. The Basilisk mobile is right in the middle in terms of size - which fits my hands well, and is lighter (by about 25 grams) than even the MX Anywhere. When I want to game - I have to switch to something else entirely (Pulsar X2V2). Like OP, I am kind of in that middle space where I want something I can game with, but if I am being completely honest I spend A LOT more time doing work stuff. Only a day in on the use, but this is kinda the "Goldilocks" size/ weight/ feature set for me.
r/MouseReview • Razer Basilisk Mobile Review - from an gamer accountant ->Dang that thing is huge. Definitely not a portable mouse. Trying to find a portable mouse with rgb. But I think the basilisk is even too big so might have to go the original pro click the basilisk mobile or the new co ra hyper speed is at least more slim
r/razer • Pro Click V2 quick overview ->I usually use a basilisk, but this will be for my legion go setup and that mouse is way to big.to fit in the bag so unless I go with the mobile one, I feel cobra may be best bet. Unless I decide to go mega portable and just stick with logi stuff. But the new cobra is by far the lightest of all the mice which is surprisingly as its not battery powered like most the others

r/razer • Pro Click V2 quick overview ->Hi all, I've lurked enough in this sub to understand that the basilisk mobile is very much not a mouse that most people in here are interested in, or even know about. For the typical crowd here's a brief synopsis: It is too heavy for size, has a really low sensor position, already outdated sensor tech, textured rubber sides aren't as grippy as regular coatings, and it has a very weird side curvature on the right that makes it difficult to get a very solid grip on it (flares out towards the bottom of the mouse a bit too much which kinda makes your fingers want to slide up). It's not terrible at fps performance based on a brief session with the mouse but it is better suited for some less aim reliant games (helldivers anyone?). Shape-wise, it's obviously very similar to the m720 but its a fair bit smaller than it, little squareish in proportions but the main standout points are going to be that thumbrest that kinda gets in the way if you tilt your mouse inwards like me and also the right side which is also not the tallest and is a bit slippery on my claw grip especially if I grip too hard. But for those who may have a use case and criteria similar to me, I'm highly recommending the mouse regardless of the above issues. If you're always bothered by the sudden jump in quality going from a nice lightweight gaming mouse (I main the hyperlight) to an office mouse but miss the features and usability of office mice for tasks like spreadsheets (as entailed by my occupation in the title) then the idea of a light(er) weight m720 makes a TON of sense as a productivity mouse. I don't give up features such as dongle storage, side scroll, infinite scroll, Bluetooth, and I even get an extra macro button on the side. Instead, I add on aspects of gaming mice I like to the m720 such as: a half decent sensor, light-ish weight, optical switches, 1k polling (instead of 125 which SUCKS), and best of all, without it looking like total doodoo (g502x, nightsabre, xtrfy m50). This really only leaves the Keychron M6 and the basilisk mobile which just came down to size since the m6 is just honestly such a large mouse. If looks and weight are not too much of an issue, the xtrfy m50 is a very good option that sits at \~50 bucks. But a g502x that you find on FB marketplace for cheap or an M6 would be great choices as well. As long as Razer doesn't total shit the bed with quality control, I'm expecting this to live between my desk and work bag as a permanent productivity / light gaming mouse alongside my suspiciously growing collection of gaming mice. TLDR: smaller 1k polling gamer version of a m720 works really well as a productivity mouse with gaming mouse features. works alright for fps but far from a best choice
r/MouseReview • Razer Basilisk Mobile Review - from an gamer accountant ->Mmm no on board storage is definitely questionable. I had no use for using anything software based so I’m not bothered but I can see how this could be a deal breaker for others
r/MouseReview • Razer Basilisk Mobile Review - from an gamer accountant ->You and OP have it right on. I've gone through every single compact productivity/hybrid gaming mouse with infinite scrolling, and haven't found one that offers the mix of portability, features, and premium feel for my particular use case that is better than the Basilisk Mobile: - The G502/Basilisk lines are all too heavy otherwise or are light by virtue of being wired; something that is a hassle in a small office cubicle or smaller home desk. - Razer Pro Click Mini would be perfect if not for batteries being required, which is something I really dislike for being a portable/on the go mouse. - Keychron M6/M7 is great performance wise but looks like it would feel like a cheap hunk of plastic, and the coating looks like it'll pick up hand oils absurdly well. - MX Anywhere has terrible polling rate and response time. Other infinite scroll office mice are similarly terrible at either performance or weight. So specifically, if one is in the market for a wireless, relatively lightweight, infinitely scrolling, premium feeling mouse with an internal battery, the basilisk mobile really is the only option available right now that fits all of those criteria. Now, this is a nitpick but it would be so nice if they could create a white version that could match my office setup/aesthetic...
r/MouseReview • Razer Basilisk Mobile Review - from an gamer accountant ->Not me foaming at the mouth over how beautiful the mouse is lol, I have the basilisk V3 Hyperspeed and Basilisk Mobile, big fan of both but I think I just like buying Razer products tbh
r/razer • Razer Viper Ultimate ->The biggest issue is that it doesn't store settings on board! And you have to run synapse in a background to use all it features. The "ai button" will do nothing if you don't run synapse either. This $89 mouse is pure shit! I regret of buying it.
r/MouseReview • Razer Basilisk Mobile Review - from an gamer accountant ->It does have one on-board profile. It was tricky. At first mine didn't save but it did after being connected for a time and then used on a computer that didn't have razer synapse 4 installed. I believe it does in fact retain one profile.
r/MouseReview • Razer Basilisk Mobile Review - from an gamer accountant ->my DA 3500g last for 12 years until the wheel gave up. I changed for a basilysk wireless from razer, that pos couldn't last a year and a half, suddenly stopped working, never buying razer products again. oh!, and when the basilisk died my trusty DA replaced until i bought a G305, i miss the shape of the DA tho.

r/pcmasterrace • Daily driver for 12 years and started double clicking randomly, RIP ->Yep 100% that mouse lasts forever if you take care of it. I also use the Razer Basilisk wireless as a secondary since it has a similar shape (but feels a bit too light).
