I have been using my original Pro/Click since 2007. Still going strong! https://preview.redd.it/xpytj9u4js1g1.jpeg?width=4608&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=025a3018b05741db33f786d7b2159f7d244e8c9f

Razer just released the pro click 2. It’s going to serve you better as a gaming device and the plastic is less prone to wear than the 3s. It’s around the same price the last I checked.

I got the vertical and I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it. The clicks are super loud and in my opinion cheap feeling. Compared to the MX Master 3S I currently daily drive, this feels cheap and flimsy, yet it's about the same price...

Vertical mice help the best for the pain I believe. Razer seem to have released Click V2 vertical so that's an gaming oriented option. Another option is to use very light asymmetrical "ergo" mouse. Most obvious recommendation is deathadder v3 pro or v4. For vertical mouse you don't need to consider weight. I've also suffered pain in the same areas and still do a little. I did do strecthes which increased the pain at first but alleviated it eventually long term and started using lighter mouse with lighter scroll wheel button (I suspect very stiff middle mouse button added pain). I also recommend a healthy dpi range (800-1600). Too little or too much and you are going to use too much of your wrist or shoulder. Right now I use deathadder v3 pro or Pulsar v4 medium. Good luck! Edit: oh yeah don't forget a good shape.

basilisk v3 pro and pro click v2 are two very similar products (ignoring the appearance that pro click v2 has a professional looking and Basilisk has a Esports looking) with very small features disparity that really confuses me. As you mentioned, feature parity seemingly in software level deliberately by Razer team. Tried both mice, in the end I choose pro click v2 not Basilisk V3. The primary reason is its professional looking is better than Basilisk’s Esports looking to my taste. Its shape also makes my palm grip slightly more comfortable than Basilisk. But palm grip with Basilisk is also good though. I do really miss the smart wheel and don’t understand why it is missing in pro click (as OP mentioned that definitely suits better for office line). This is my biggest complaint especially my previous mouse was MX anywhere 3. (The magnetic wheel of MX anywhere 3 is the best wheel out of the market, even far more better then MX Master 3). Also note that pro click v2 has a slight edge that it supports 4 wireless device (3 Bluetooth + 1 2.4g) while Basilisk only supports two (1 Bluetooth and 1 2.4g).

I WANTED to try the MX4 until I heard the polling rate was the same 125Hz *shudders* So after the announcement I went and got the Razer ProClick V2. I had the V1 and loved it aside from the molded MicroUSB charging port. Still debating on if I should’ve sprung for the vertical version. Oh well

I just got the Pro Click V2, and it's good for large hands. I had the Basilisk before I got this one, and it was great too, but the Pro Click V2 is a bit bigger and has a great ergonomic shape.

I said cubital tunnel, not carpal tunnel, learn to read Cubital tunnel is your elbow, while carpal tunnel is your wrist. Totally different body part. And most people with mild cubital syndrome don't know why they have pain It took years for me to get bad enough I had to seek out medical attention, but lots of people have low grade problems. Keychron m5 and razor pro click v2 vertical edition are good ergonomic gaming mice

So after getting mine and using it for a while, I must say that the lack of the third button on the main face is a huge downgrade. I had it set to "scroll click" and it was soo useful in many cases, and pressing it was so much more convenient than trying to press the wheel. Damn, I hope razer will release its next version with the third button.

Those 2 are better for gaming but yeah they don't have a number of buttons most vertical are bad anyways so if you're willing to compromise the number of buttons then the m5 or the razer vertical edition is a better option
