The Turtle Beach Kone XP II was built for people like us with larger hands. I think you ought to give it a try. It's very natural feeling in your hands. [https://www.turtlebeach.com/products/kone-ii-air-mouse?Color=Black](https://www.turtlebeach.com/products/kone-ii-air-mouse?Color=Black)

As a many-years MMORPG player (Lineage2, Mu Online, WoW), cRPG fan and owner of G700 and G602 (and now Roccat Kone XP as g700 replacement) i never understood this love for Razer's Naga (which i had for a brief moment) and its children. Four buttons is max which thumb can use effectively (fast and without any thinking about function or its placement). You add more and you loose the benefits because of poor mnemonics and (later) egonomics (cant reach all of them effectively). Its like typing with pointing finger only - you can be fast and quite effective but never as fast and without looking at keyboard as when you use all fingers. So 4 for thumb, 3 for pointing finger (including LMB), 2 for middle (including RMB) and two small are for grip - thats the most reasonable setup for a mouse. If you want more buttons just use keypads with WASD on a stick -> Razer Tartarus, Hori TAC, so you don't have to use 3 fingers for movement (just 1) and can use them on other functions. I own two PZ31a's since 2007, a year ago i bought Hori TAC PS5 and recently i even created my own such device with RP2040 Zero - 1 joystick + 25 keys + 4 buttons as pedals and its more than enough for most of games (even STALKER GAMMA which is most key-demanding game ive played recently). Its still in prototype phase (some changes have to be made) but it already works perfectly. Way better than trying to cramp all keys on a mouse which is a device not designed for that.
I currently use the Kone XP which replaced a Logitech G700s. I liked the Logitech a little better but I can live with this one. But yeah, there aren’t a lot of good options if you want more than 2 side buttons but don’t want to go all the way for a whole ass numpad on the side of your mouse.
Roccat Kone XP is nice and has a lot of extra buttons
Roccat Kone XP is not even on the list and it's better than most of them imho.
The original Kone Pure from early 2010s were so good. Rock solid build quality and they lasted forever. I used one for like 5 years. It's over 10 years old now and it still works. The modern Roccat Kone XP, while still noticeably better than Razer and about the same as Logitech, has definitely worse build quality than the older mice. But it's still a great mouse for productivity.
Roccat Kone xp is pretty good, I’ve got two of them for some reason. Used them for a pretty long time though (recently upgraded), it’s a really solid mouse.
Kone XP is a nice hybrid. I cant use mmo mouse for other games (shooter) but i can with the kone
That Redragon M908 is decent. I bought it to try it out when War Within was coming out, and I was trying to find a new MMO mouse. Used it for a while. I ended up buying the newer Corsair Scimitar and honestly didn’t really love it either. There’s a Roccat (now Turtle Beach) Kone XP mouse that has 5 side buttons, and 2 buttons on the top side, that worked out pretty well, I actually bought 2 so I had a spare lol. Using that I can get creative with keybinds (Q, E, etc) and with 1-5 or so on my keyboard it covers more abilities than I need. Now if I played Classic WoW Hunter with 40 abilities I’d want the whole side pad of 12 buttons though lol
You'll get a billion suggestions of G502. It's fine, it's a perfectly safe choice, logitech mouse. That out of the way: Roccat/Turtle beach Kone XP. If you ever loved the logitech G700(s), the Kone XP(air) is the spiritual successor. Was a mad, mad fanboy for the G700(s) had 2 regular and 1x "s". The kone XP is ABSOLUTELY the successor, not a single doubt in mind. Even the thumb shift key is placed right (just off most peoples thumb meat) and weighted perfectly IMO. RGB is meh, turn it off. In every other way, screw TB with a large rusty mace, sideways. Can't speak for any of their other trash. Roccat were all about AWESOME hardware with software coded by a 2 week old long haired gibbon on a "coffee only" diet. The Kone XP is the sweet spot, still well above average mouse hardware and software that works very well (after some updates, genuinely not had a single issue with it but I was late to the party).
Missing the GOAT imo. Have had: Intellimouse v3 Razer Habu Razer Lachesis Random weird cheap one Logitech MX600 Other weird cheap one Steelseries Wow mouse 1 & 2. Logitech G700, G700s, G700s (previous GOAT imo) Logitech G502's (a good few) Roccat Kone XP Roccat Kone XP is THE absolute greatest mouse that's ever existed. It's Roccat's "Swan Song". The last mouse made under their brand before Turtle Beach fully absorbed them and the Roccat branding pretty much disappeared. It's absolutely the best thing ever created as a mouse. Even the "gimmicky" thumb "shift switch" is perfectly placed/balanced to double up keys available. Uses optical switches so there's none of the "logitech/omron microswitch plate inside fades with time" issues. The G502 is a VERY VERY good mouse. The Kone XP is absolutely better in every meaningful way. Still exists, now under turtle beach branding. TB absolutely suck donkey balls, I'd buy a TB branded one if either of the Kone XP's I have died. It's light, a TINY bit wider than the G502, similar weight/size/shape otherwise. It being Roccat, I think most folks missed it. They had typical German levels of good engineering, their software was terrible. TB coming in sorted the software. If they haven't messed with/cheapened the internals, still utterly peerless imo.
The "numpad on the side of the mouse" thing is fine. I find having SO many buttons clustered like that, muscle memory takes a LOT of training or is never quite precise enough. An MMO mouse needs a lot of buttons, yes, they need to be in more sensible places. Roccat Kone XP ticks the box. Will happily die on the hill of it being the (current) GOAT.
If you like G502 but don't like the omron switches eventually turning to mush, Roccat (now Turtle Beach, sadly) Kone XP fixes probably every issue/insufficiency with the G502. If you were ever a G700/s lover, it's absolutely the spiritual successor.
The G502 IS very good. Genuinely, genuinely if you want similar but a few more buttons (coming from a G700/s) have a look at Roccat Kone XP/XP Air. It's basically the true successor to the G700 imo.
