Ok, here I am finally with the Z2. So, the buttons are just regular buttons, nothing special about their feel, nor after clicking. Just when I press harder I see the force value climbing up. Without any actual movement. The lightest touch I can do with clicking is at 20%. And 100% on main buttons is... quite heavy, I think within 500g-1kg range. With top middle buttons it's certainly past 1kg, same feeling - i.e. it feels just like a regular press of a button, but if you keep pushing the indicator shows force increasing. The wheel button is the weirdest. It drifts around 40% and then jumps to 100%, but also it's the lightest to push to 100%. So, any way, you probably won't want to have anything at 100%, and you can bind actions to lower values, whatever is comfortable, the software allows that. The mouse isn't very comfortable, definitely would take me some time to get used to, and the top-most right button is very hard to pull. Top-most left is a bit hard. Middle buttons are fine. Main buttons are the part that takes some getting used to. And side buttons are also not very easily accessible. Logitech G502 is certainly much more comfortable and it fits perfectly in hand. But in terms of programmable button, G502, even though it has this G-Shift, can't offer nearly as much as Z2. Still, this is the first day of use, and I haven't yet bound anything, so, I'd hope to have a better impression after maybe a month of use.

Swiftpoint Z2. 12 buttons, 5 with pressure sensor, gyroscope, and nearly limitless number of possible programmable combinations (any button press or deep press or tilt with any other button press or deep press, or tilt, or scroll, or mouse movement), though the actual maximum number of combinations is limited by on-board memory.

Had to scroll way too far to find swiftpoint! I love the Z2 so much I bought a second one for when it inevitably dies. I've had it for a year and am still finding new ways to use it

I recently bought the swiftpoint z2 a few months ago and I’ve been loving it. That and the razer Tartarus are amazing with the amount of keybinds between the two. You only need a keyboard for really typing tbh.

I recently got the Swittpoint Z2 and my only complaint is it's a little on the heavy side so it's taken some getting used to. But it has an absolute ton of buttons that are really cleverly placed and it's extremely customizable. It also has a tilt to lean feature if you're into that for FPS games. Haven't used that particular feature much but it seems like it works pretty well. It's a very subtle motion but not one you'd do on accident. If you want a lot of buttons I'm not sure you can do better, otherwise you're probably better off with something lighter.

Agreed. I think a small button at the other end of the big ones that you press by bending your finger more is better. And maybe even another one higher up, which I find quite useful on the Swiftpoint Z2 even without gaming.

Theres also a really nice DIY open source mouse, called lynxware im primarily an mmo mouse enjoyer so weights and size doesnt matter to me

Swiftpoint Z2.....I had the G502 for many years, but the swiftpoint Z2 crushes it. The ONLY thing the G502 has is that scroll wheel...that's it. The Z2 crushes it. OLED animated display, Deepclick buttons, haptic feedback, gyro controls. And lots of extra buttons.

I've been using wireless since I still had a CRT....I bought this mouse thinking it was wireless even. I decided to try it out anyway....and now I'm stuck on it. Best mouse I've ever used, even with it being wired and not having that logitech scroll wheel.

Well they're working on a wireless model right now, so you can keep an eye out for it.
