"the buttons are in an very awkward position if you try to use anything past the first 2 columns ... If you move the numpad forward then the first buttons are hard to reach. If you move the numpad backward then the last buttons are hard to reach"
"The Scimitar buttons also didn't feel as good as the Naga"
"My only complaint is I wish the side buttons textures were a bit more distinct or were angled slightly more"

"had it twice, both times broke in under 6 months, don't want to ever buy it again"
"While you might have had good luck with this mouse I I’ve went through 3 and a friend multiple as well. Scimitar is very known for mouse wheel breaking super easy."
"after only a year, it started peeling on the left click."

"i really love my corsair scimitar but i have a huge problem with iCue due to the fact that it wont auto-start and then my mouse wont switch programs when I start specific games :/ ... Really love the mouse but hate the program xD A reason why i'd like to switch..."
"And the iCue software is a mess. ... Mutiple times it broke completely and I could only fix it by doing a complete reinstall. ... While that seems fixed, now it just refuses to launch on startup."
"The software is the worst thing ever made by man"

"it does look a bit flimsy in the pictures as there's no front support. Not sure it would last very long in my hands either. ... There are also lots of reports of the scroll wheel breaking too, and looking at one in person yesterday I don't think it would stand up to me either."
"The mousewheel broke on me after months."
"It has scroll wheel issues (just like every new mouse these days)"
Weight doesn't really matter much if all you do is non-competitive games, but I play a mix of most game genres and after switching from a scimitar (corsair's mmo moise) to a lightweight deathadder I don't think I can go back. My aimlabs score on multiple tests improved by like 20-30%. The deathadder with the AA battery is a good bit heavier I think
I’ve used the OG naga, the Logitech G600, and the Corsair Scimitar. All are solid mice, the naga lasted 5 years or so, got it during the ICC raid patch in wows wrath of the lich king expansion. Replaced it with another that only lasted 2 I think. Both had the same problem, the dreaded double left click caused by internal button structure wearing down. You can do short term fixes for it, but it gets annoying. The Logitech lasted about 6 years, different issue, the side buttons stopped responding to input on the 7-9 row, where I keep my big hitter abilities in my task bar. Got the Corsair to replace it as I had heard good things and it’s still going strong. I like the Corsair ICUE software, as others said, it’s a bit awkward until you get the hang of it, but I love that you can sync profiles up with other peripherals, so the mutual lighting effects are matching in my keyboard and headset to. You can also set the devices to ignore the ICUE software and keep a default setup on the onboard memory if you’re taking it elsewhere and want it to feel familiar.
personally I use a corsair mmo mouse, but like the red dragon they don't offer a mirror version for left hand use that is one thing the azeron company does well is they have mirror versions of everything
I used razer naga before and it works fine with mac. But the quality of razer gear is shit. After my THIRD razer broke I bought a Corsair Scimita. Same amount of buttons. Works with my MacBook pro m2 chip. And the 12 buttons moveable so you can customize them. I also have small hands but both mice have worked fine for me. I will never be able to play wow without the extra buttons. The razer naga seems to fit people that don't mind buying a new o e every year... The Corsair have been working for a while.
Corsair scimitar. As an amputee the macro buttons are very useful.
Corsair scimitar, comfort for me
you don't need an expensive mmo mouse. I used a logitech g600 for many years until it began failing. That mouse went through hell. Now I use a cheap red dragon mmo mouse which is honestly fantastic. I once tried a corsair scimitar and the thing broke within the first month. That was the most expensive mmo mouse I had. So op, just go with what feels best for you. And remember, cost has no bearing on if something is good or not.
If you want the Logitech g600, look up "Logicool g600" on eBay. It's the same mouse, it never got discontinued in Japan, but the name Logitech was taken over there so they had to rebrand for japanese products to Logicool. I tried a Corsair scimitar, Razer Naga, and Steel series Aerox 9 and nome of them held up to the g600 imo
Thanks everyone, saw the corsair scimitar was on sale for only $20 more than the M811 so I decided to get the scimitar. Hopefully I can get the hang of all the buttons lol.
Corsair Scimitar is my alltime favorite out of the 5 or 6 gaming mice I've tried. It's excellent.
I've tried basically all of them and the Corsair Scimitar is the one I always go back to.
