Bose - QuietComfort 35

I can't speak for current models, but I have a pair of Bose QC35 Mk1s that are now 10 years old. I've had to replace the earpads and the headband as you'd expect since they disintegrated years ago, but that's easy enough with Ali Express. They're still on their original batteries and can supply days of use without being charged. Other than that I know Bose is a bit of an overhyped brand and it's the only Bose product I own..

interesting, ive got the QC35 Mk1, been through about 5 or 6 pairs of foams as used to use them in a hot engine room so would be pretty manky. i've been getting the AliExpress replacements and they're fine. I've just recently replaced the battery myself as was lasting about 10 hrs, $25 replacement, 30 mins to replace and now back to new. i live in mine all day at my desk. I've strongly recommended to colleagues getting these I'd just buy a 2nd hand pair and slap some new foams on them.

Have to second Bose QC. I have the QC35 (first gen) and I can wear them for hours at a time, even with glasses on. Mine also have an exceptional battery life even after using them almost every day for the past 8 years. I've had to replace the padding a few times and it's pretty easy, takes 5-10 minutes The noise cancelling is also exceptional, even on planes. It can also be turned down or off in the app

Bose QC, 35,45 or ultra are all fantastic over ear options. Been using the QC35s( Gen 1 *no Alexa button) for more than 5 years now honestly I have no intention of replacing them. If you’re an in-ear person the pod pros are hard to beat.

I have been using these when they were called Aftershockz. They will not be the highest fidelity. The idea is you can hear sounds around you and hear audio via Bluetooth. I eventually bought the version from Costco since my battery life was going downhill. I bought them at Fry's Electronics so they must be 10 years old. It is the same basic design but with an improved charging cable. These are not useful on airplanes obviously though I have used them with earplugs once. I think you are getting a better sale price than I got. I think they are $129 usually and $99 on sale. I use them often. You just need to understand that you will hear ambient sound. Note those Bose quiet comfort shown are the old model. They go on sale for half the price at Costco. It is a special version sold at Costco that doesn't include the hard case.

I think this is the original (at least very early) model Bose QuietComfort! I had an early model (QC 35 or something like that) that worked great, eventually my teenage daughter “borrowed” it and I never saw it again.

Happened to me with the warranty too and they just turn on now on there own so I have to keep them charged

On a college campus and I can state that it is: (1) AirPods of all different varieties and it isn't even close. Guessing they have > 80% of the earbud market on college campuses. Now for over the ear headphones I'd say it is a split between the Sony CH720N/XM4 vs the Bose QC35 or QC45 vs the Beats Solo 4. Behind these would be the AirPods Max and the JBL Tune 770.

NC700 are pretty light headphones (around 254 grams) so this surprises me a bit. The XM6 weight about the same, the QC a bit less and the really good ones I have (Bathys/Px8) and the Px7s3 a lot more. Would look at the XM6 which has a phenomenal microphone and ANC solid (if a bit bass forward) sound (EQ helps) and pretty comfortable although I don't like the shallow earpads. The Bose QC Ultra and QC are also right around the XM6 and NC700 in weight but may feel more comfortable for you as they don't use the same headband.

QC35 the GOAT. Partner got QC45 and theyre pretty similar but the QC35 still feel better overall. I swear they sound better but could be wrong. Just have to replace the ear pieces like once a year.

They look a bit like QC35s if that’s helpful. Mine are about 8 years old and work great
