Koss - Pro-3AA Stereo Headphones

Thats cool! I'm going to take a look at those. When i first started mixing, I didn't know anything, certainly nothing about translation and how challenging it is. I went to Best Buy and bought a pair of these (I think) Koss Pro 3A headphones for like $100. https://www.musiciansfriend.com/consumer-electronics/koss-pro-3aa-stereo-headphones My ear was probably super untrained at the time, but they used to translate extremely well for me (i.e. I never had any big surprises like something being way too loud or the balance being way off than what I expected). Car, iphone, bluetooth speakers - it was always pretty consistent. Ever since I started trying to "up my game" and get more critical results, it seems its just gotten worse and worse, in terms of translation especially.
