I see a few Sony recommendations in the comments, and i agree. I use the Sony WH-CH720N and their Sound Connect app enables you to customize and control everything, plus battery life is pretty good.
I also had the xm3 before wearing them out. I decided to try the cheaper CH720N and they are great. Build quality feels a bit worse, they are much lighter and I think the noise cancelling on the xm3 is a bit better. But the CH720N sound great, especially for the price.
I have used both Sony is more comfortable and better than the JBL
Buy jbl for sure, 720n sounds so bleak for some reason, tried eqs but still
Been using them for over a year & I love them. I got an additional case but I've put the headphones in my backpack most of the times w/out the case because it's really bulky which takes up a lot of space. I often lay them on my neck as well when i go out. No dents/scratch/flaws so far so i have nothing to complain about the build quality.
to be fair the build feels plasticky, especially since it's very lightweight as well. i put it in the case whenever i go out, but i sometimes lay them around my neck too. i have a headphones stand for when i don't use the headphones
i'd go for the Sony WH CH720N. A lot of quality for the price. In europe you can find it for 60 euros. Problably something like that in America.
Bought this from my first salary and using it 8 hours per day for last 10 months it’s really good
Sony whch720n. I use it for everything you mentioned and it’s good. The anc isn’t super good but it’s decent when you’re listening to anything at 40% with it on. The sound quality is exceptional though
Tbh I ain’t completely sure because I mostly use it when I’m sitting in my room or im at college so I don’t do much physical exercise with it so I won’t be able to answer this. They’re definitely a bit flimsy though lmao but it hasn’t shown any signs of breaking or any part will fall out
Yes. Ch720ns are very well regarded. When I was researching on the ULTs I saw some comparisons with the 720n and almost all reviewers praised it.
Ch720n anyday over the 770nc.
I have a pair of [these](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-WH-CH720N-Cancelling-Bluetooth-Headphones-Black/dp/B0BTDX26B2/ref=sr_1_5?crid=TN2VIOGORTQT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9._ku-BPfnIfwpPedNrA9phti_2aOS9ZvXkAMiDhUYUqaMg1M-e2WnCKzO-WeqDs1rOvdmKrJnz2gB2PzTAvoTnmnNgKdG45nGDq1Kput3l_eRMkM1jFSwaFEw5ZWkrd3itcATAR7oqqOGEwzrvQHh_l2arqD8nW8ptjHguhqTQiFGxXx-9qqvEWVvm_LDFih7ENn8FgyfuerXd8ZlbCwLuPaMht9m1jbbpYUxvZyn7dw.hAS940n_gZMk8PJZVL2bJZxFz_ieRVxsKRBSfyY7xtw&dib_tag=se&keywords=sony+headphones&qid=1765025316&sprefix=sony+head%2Caps%2C137&sr=8-5) Sony headphones. I mainly use them for around the house, wfh and to the gym the odd time and they do the job! There's a cheaper set from Sony for about €35 that my partner uses for the same thing and loves them.
