I have an arctis 5 that’s still going strong after almost 9 years! I did replace the cushions for nicer ones
Had my Arctis 5’s since they launched in 2016. Still sound great, super comfy and buy new ear cushions every few years because they are cheap and only probably I had was the cord went bad, which cost like $15 to replace.
I loved mine until the mic started to not work well. Mic now makes everything I say barely a whisper.
I’ve had mine for over 10 years I think. Artis 5 wired.
Steelseries arctis 5 was amazing until the most recent teams updates, now it no longer filters out my fidget spinner.
SteelSeries Arctis 3/5 Wired excellent voice chat and balanced sound
AirPods Pro 2 if I don’t need to use the mic. They’re really comfy. I connect them to my TV via Bluetooth. If I need to use the mic I will use my SteelSeries Arctis 5P
I've been using the Steelseries Arctis 5 for about 5 years now and it's still an amazing headset.
My series 5 or 7’s are going on six or seven years of use with 5 of that being daily use. Up to 16 hours daily with most days being 10-12 due to using them for work and gaming. I’ve only ever changed the ear pad/muffs for new ones and could use a new elastic band. Lots of great recommendations for professional equipment but that equipment is not plug-and-play. It sounds amazing but fighting all of the issues is something I hear complaints about all the time.
SteelSeries, if you're on a budget then the 5P will do you just fine.
I spiked my SteelSeries 5 last night after my teammate left me to die in arc raiders. Still works and I’m a big guy and SPIKED it. Can’t recommend enough. Great sound quality and durability at a sub $200 price point. Survives gamer rage like a champ.
