I got the wired version of these and have been very happy with the audio quality. A couple minor gripes with software/DAC limitations but overall it was a good upgrade from my HyperX Cloud Orbit S headphones that broke.

They make the Steelseries arctis nova pros in wireless and wired. I have the wired version. But they were like $250 I believe.

Steel series Nova Pro for me as well. I like that it has two batteries so you can always be charging one.

This is it OP. You asked for something specific, and this is the actual answer to your question. SS makes extremely high quality headphones. I have the Arctis Nova Pro and it's lasted years and still looks and functions brand new.

Are you sure you got the A50x? I just bought them too and they're pretty great. One thing stuck out, you mentioned clamping force. I just moved on from the Audeze Penrose (ridiculous clamp when they were new) and just tested the Arctis Nova Pros. I also have Turtle Beach Stealth 700 in the house, also ridiculous clamp. I think the Astro A50x is the most comfortable headset I've ever tried out of the box. One of the first thoughts that I has when first putting them on was how light the clamp was. It has way less clamp than Audeze and Turtle Beach, and slightly less than the Nova Pros. After customizing the EQ, they're easily the best headset I've ever used for spatial awareness and footsteps for FPS games and it's not close, really.

Steelseries arctis nova pro, I wore it as my headset while working from home for like 4 years in a contact center and for gaming during and after. Bonus that it comes with a little DAC/Battery charger and a spare battery.

I returned the nova pros, they hurt my ears after 20 minutes.... found the Delta 2s, amazing comfort.
