"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."
"delivers the full package here. ... betting the house regarding this on this pair was fully worth it. ... It matches up (I would not say surpasses) a lot of wired in-ear monitors within this price bracket and slightly above. ... The prowess it shows in keeping the instrument separation clean is something that I really, really appreciate myself for buying this pair, not to mention the rumbly yet controlled, precise lows keep on coming and the highs soar without spice, without hurting your ears."
"Nothing short of a home run, here- the Ear once again brings me all; the way the bass hits on this track is very impactful but not bloated, punchy but not overpowering, and Kendrick’s powerful vocals shine through bright, while I enjoyed the way the Sax keeps on coming in at the right junctions of the song, and the way the cymbals play out on this track is probably one of the best I have heard through amongst all the gear that I have owned and currently own- the first in a wireless, and one of the few if I consider all. ... the timbre sounds natural and uncoloured"

"Crazy good from the jump! ... When you factor in they're only $99 and go toe-to-toe with Bose QC Ultra at $299, this is the deal of the year!"
"Can't recommend them enough for the value, sound like $200 earphones."

"Got my dunu s& s today. They fits perfectly with my blon. Finally i can listen to music comfortably with my blons. ... Got dunu s&s large tips & tried them on my blon. Damm finally i found a eartip that fits with combination with blon. These eartips seal pretty good."

"that thing was my work horse for years."
"These things are VERY durable in my experience. ... I've accidentally sat on them, banged them against the wall and table, slept on them, my cat even grabbed them and ran away dragging the IEMs on the floor, and yet they still feel and function the same as DAY 1."
"made of metal and feels like a tank yet also light"

"Idk how to explain it. But i just love the type of bass that bass Guitar gives, it's not uncomfortable at all. ... Blon mids are just so clear yet bassy as well. soo good. ... I am not a sound expert but i think blon has some bass type of thing in mid frequencies. It's type of bass not tired to listen."
"have amazing amounts of bass."
"Is a more balanced tuning, and its noticeable, you don't miss the bass shelf at all, in fact, is more defined, is fast, with a good amount of sub and mid bass presence, so even in bass heavy tracks is so enjoyable. ... The mids, as the graphic shows, better upper mids so is better with male and female vocals, and the instruments sounds good aswell. ... The highs, again, look at the graph, better treble and is a little more extended than the og, so is a pleasant and not sibilant surprise. ... the Bl-03 is more bassy and the bass kick is more noticeable, the mids are less forwarded but the uppermids are so well tuned so is better in the vocal department, the highs are more crisp ... Yup, is the same type of bass, is fast, defined, punchy and not bleeds into the mids, i loved that"

"my razer black widow that broke only a year and a half. ... The A key became unresponsive. ... It was actually the second one i got that had the same issue, but the first one lasted 4 years and one of those were during lockdown so i chalked it up heavy use. The second one broke within the two year warranty ... Razer sucks dont buy their stuff. ... I've had nothing but trouble with razer products, even straight out the box I've had issues a couple of times."

"Well, I do agree with the trash cable part of the comment in reference to QKZ x HBB. I disliked that cable more than any other stock cable I ’ve come across and couldn’t replace it fast enough."
"The cable was atrocious"
"the default one absolutely will not allow for a proper fit and stay there."

im currently using blon bl03 version 1 , which is good for valorant but not perfect one. actually what i come to know that every person has its own sound taste regarding his capability of listening , some love bass some hate , some love treble some hates. so i concluded that before buying a new iems just give a 30% conclusion on reviews, 30% on graphs and rest is your risk of buying new iems. but look at graph first and analyze that are you a bass guy or treble guy or if you buying for gaming then you need good treble and good mids and a slightly bass and a best proper sound staging helps directional sounds so keep these things in your mind and you are good to go. and 1 thing more i will definetly give a try to em6l than supermix 4 heard that supermix 4 sound staging is somehow become harsh when sudden frags and guns fires sounds collectively coming from same direction on in team fight supermix 4 become harsh which effect sound staging.
Blon BL-03 was my first real introduction and the only thing I regret is letting the hobbyist and collector mindset consume me. I now have too many IEMs and too little money!
Admittedly from Chifi - got into them during E1001, Whizzer, KZ ZS days and started going down the rabbit hole of "oh this sounds rich, that sounds smooth this neutral that soundstage". 15-20 pairs in, I just got tired of 'chasing' the best sound for the best price because there is always something new and new =/= better. I also worked through dozens of DAC dongles and finally just went TWS for practicality. In hindsight, nothing got me feeling as pleased as my bl03 with foam tips. They sure aren't the the universal best, but to me the sound was so smooth and relaxing. Occassionally I take them out and listen to them at home. But when I'm out and about, I just use my Nothing Ears. But secretly waiting for them to die on me so I can justify a pair of Technics. By the way it's like this with a lot of different hobbies. It's a tiresome cycle but the joys must be worth it for people to do it over n over.
I use blon bl-03.. got them on headphone zone.. it's balanced and amazing.. no exaggerations at all All phones with 3.5 jack have DAC.. Some phones have better quality and with type C connection... Check if your phone has that.. else invest in a DAC
Oo do they come with type C now? I have a 3.5 mm version. Excellent rumblers for given price. Very clean low end.
Not really in order, as different tunings: * Moondrop Chu 2 - mild v-shape, great IEM * QKZ HBB - warm/bassy, great IEM * Blon BL03 - fun v-shape (but the fit is terrible) Bright neutral has a few options - I prefer the original Chu but the crappy fixed cable lets it down. The 7Hz Zero is a bit better in that regard, but I don't think it sounds quite as good. Arguably it's better to pay the extra for the Moondrop LAN for this signature because it's the best one until you go up significantly, but OTOH it's also kind of overpriced for what it is (I think it's around $40 normally, but it's basically just a Chu 2 with less bass). The 7Hz Zero 2 is OK as well but I personally find it a bit of an overly safe middle ground between other, better IEMs. Like the QKZ HBB, if you want warm but don't want to go quite that warm. It's probably the one that's the closest competitor to the Wan'er, as a better all-rounder. Although I find the Wan'er has a stand-out feature in its vocals while being weaker elsewhere, but the Zero 2 doesn't have a single stand-out thing it does better than anything else. It could maybe get the award for the okayest $20 IEM, as it doesn't do anything bad, but nothing stands out as particularly good either. You also have things like the KZ EDC Pro as probably the best beginner IEM, for around $5. It's very close to the Chu 2 but a bit bassier and slightly less refined in the treble. Probably more comfortable than the Chu 2 and less prone to condensation issues. The KZ Castor Bass, around $15, is good for a really hard-hitting bass tuning, although it's not an all-rounder and the tuning is a bit grainy.
Both have a weird fit, so probably aren't the best buy nowadays. It has trouble staying in the ear because of its shape. The new one has a less weird connector for the cable, which is a good thing. However, they made the tuning worse, so it's not really an IEM anyone recommends. It's pretty meh for the price range and you still have the problems with the weird fit. The original BL03 is a bit of a classic and still holds up for how it sounds, if you want a fun-sounding but competent IEM with good bass and reasonable technicalities. However the stock cable is crap and the weird connector makes it awkward to get a replacement. It's TFZ, but even TFZ cables don't fit perfectly because they made it nonstandard. They fit securely, but there's a gap that doesn't look quite right. I would suggest instead looking at something like the KBear KB01, which is around the same price and is a better IEM overall. Not exactly the same tuning, but it still has decent bass and an overall balanced tuning that works for most music. When you get your phone without an audio jack, buy a dongle DAC at that time. For Apple, you may want to stick with the Apple dongle. For Android, the JCally JM6 Pro is the most recommended. This also has a bit more power, which you won't need for these, but might be useful in the future if you get something else that's harder to drive.
the blon bl-03.
Yeah at that price and given the sound signature there were no technical faults you could complain about, it's no slouch for sure, especially at the time of its release.
iPod Nano 7th + Blon BL-03
I love the sound of the Blon-BL03 on my iPod nano 7th.

The "musical" aspect was the main reason why most people liked it. The technical performance has never been a strenght on that set but it really raised the bar in terms of overall sound enjoyment, tonal balance and so on.
