Hopefully this is a big difference from using Razer Barracuda X and Moondrop Space Travel.
iPod classic with Bluetooth- Moondrop space travels for BT casual listening, 7hz zero:2 iems for wired. Cannot get over how good the iems are for the price of basically nothing, it is insane how far we’ve come.
ive only had the og, theyre superb. was thinking of getting the ultras just to try out. better battery life is nice. but the battery on mine is fine for 95% of situations. and the 5% it just forces me to actually appreciate my surroundings sounds anyways so i see nothing wrong. they have no occlusion effect which is a big positive for iems, they dont give a closed in feel. i rate them 9.5/10 for their price.
Moondrop Space Travel for Bluetooth and when I’m on the go. Excellent audio quality with barely noticeable latency. If I want to get on voice chat with friends I’ll use the Koss Porta Pro Communication Headset that comes with a mic boom which honestly sounds extremely good
Apart from the Linkbuds S, I can't find another competitor here against the Moondrop Robin. It's a shame that Moondrop isn't more well-known. TBH, Moondrop's Space Travel and the Robin headphones just completely eviscerate the budget and mid-tier market. The Robin's might have the best audio quality when compared to the main brands for consumers (Sony, Apple, Bose, and Sennheiser). I would definitely be using my Robin's more, but I can't give up how much I love the Technics AZ80s though.
If wired isn’t a hard requirement. Moondrop Space Travel is nice.
If you want something wireless around this price, the Moondrop Space Travel is one of the better picks. Low-latency mode works well for FPS, the tuning is clean enough for positional cues, and the battery life is solid for longer sessions. FWIW I recently ran some Reddit sentiment analysis on budget IEMs (Google RedditRecs). You can filter by gaming or budget tiers to see which ones people actually like over time. I like my space travels. The 1s and 2s are both an easy recommend since they're so wallet friendly.
Wireless earbuds are a disposable consumable good that’s meant to be thrown out once its lifespan is over. I’ve already had to throw away a set of AirPods Pro 2’s. Knowing that, I’d probably just rebuy one cheap set that gets the job done. For me, those are the moondrop space travel’s for $25. I have one in every shift, and I never worry about losing them or breaking because they’re $25, and they sound pretty good for the price.
