Based on 1 year's data from Mar 17, 2026 How it works
I tried them recently it was a great experience they cost me 12 dollars they have good details and great bass. I don't have much experience in EQ if anyone has profiles to modify the sound to become better I hope to help us with it.
These are by far the worst IEMs I have ever tried. Gave them a fair listen and tip rolled. They are just awful. Muddy, bloated, no detail retrieval, but that does not make them good laid back iems. There are no dynamics, no energy, no resolution. Takes me back to when I was a teenager wtih dialup internet and was downloading porn from limewire at 144p, similar sound resolution. At least I only got them for $10. I almost want to say these posts are shilling but will not since I have no evidence.
I also took the plunge on this, might post about mine soon. Try some EQ, works super well
They definitely need eq but for $17?! insane value.
Ive tried a few budget iems and I think this is my favourite tonality of the bunch. It just amazes me that all I did was apply a little bit of eq (bass and upper treb lift) and all of the sudden it becomes significantly better than a lot of iems ive tried that cost more. Maybe its the fact that it is so cheap that makes me like it so much when im deep in the over 1k game, but idk I cant stop listening to it.
If you have even remotely small ears skip the truthears, definitely. Kefines have a good fit and balanced signature, though for long gaming sessions Iβd much rather have something like the Aful Explorer or the ND Audio Planet. KZ stuff is good value as well, though I personally donβt really like their usually peaky treble and thereβs always the question of QC.
For me, the planets sounds very different to my other iems, more bas, less detail and sound stage. But they are very musical, great for party music. I'd say, for 17 bucks, they are fantastic.
I really liked this phone, I would say it's better than the 7hz Salnotes Zero and that's no small feat. A very fun phone and, for me, sufficiently detailed. I didn't notice anything wrong with it, except in some specific mixes. Furthermore, my unit has an impressive sensitivity, so much so that on daps like the Yophoon X15 I hear it at a maximum of 12/100 volume steps.
If they were at the same price as KZ EDX they would break the market
I didn't even know Indians were audiophiles π€£π€£
Review for ND-Planet So, lately I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about this set of iems, bought a pair to be Reddit's Guinea pig! First thoughts: these are the best iems under $50 and I can see why some people prefer these over Awful explorers, SM4 or other popular iems around the $200 mark. I personally prefer these over my thieaudio hype 2s, similar tuning style to the Prestige Ltd, neutral with boosted bass. Sound signature: as mentioned above neutral with a little bass boost. Sound Quality: the music notes have weight to them, the single DD really pushes the air, making you feel the music really well, not too much to be fatiguing, actually really well done. While the details are ofcourse, are essentially non-existent, this a a very fun listening experience, not for people trying to analyze every note. Soundstage/imaging: it's pretty much what you expect out of a $50 set, the soundstage won't be anything worth noting, it's still pretty much in your own headspace. Zero vertical soundstage, Listening to One by Metallic, the helicopter at the beginning sounded like it flew beside my head. These have surprisingly good imagining (not sure how accurate for fps gaming), one by Metallic was a good song to test both of these aspects. Build quality: awful, Im pretty sure I can destroy these from just pinching my fingers hard enough together, with 50% effort. The cable is thin, but I like the earhooks and it doesn't tangle, so cable is a plus. Comparisons: I don't really have a comparison for these, they don't sound like anything I've tried yet, maybe close to the tuning of my prestige ltd but with a bit more boosted bass and a lot less detailed.. The chu 2 and salsnote zeros are 2 levels worse than these, if that helps you understand where they stand for me. As I said earlier, I prefer these over my hype 2s. TLDR: the hype is real, these are great for the price if you're looking for a neutral sound signature with a lil emphasis on the bass.
It's $25 CAD, it's gonna have issues, also it's reasonable enough for someone to prefer a tuning signature over everything else. If details were everything, then everyone would be into iems. You are welcome to disagree, but I don't think i gave it any special treatment, I said what I said, I prefer it over my hype 2s but nothing more than that. I'm trying to see where you're coming from, but I don't have those issues other than the bass being a little bloated, but it's not much at all compared to other iems I've tried costing 4x the price. I'm also trying to keep in mind these are $25, so I'm being a little lenient on my opinion.
What, Are you high? There's literal YouTube videos from headphones.com with them blind testing iems, and almost no one liked the more expensive iems. Also, thieaudio hype 2s are lacking in bass and have a sound veil over the vocals, the mid bass bloated the treble a lot as well in the hype 2s. They also cost 1/10 of the price of the hype2s, So yeah, I definitely like these more. Do you even own a pair of hype 2s?
The seal was awful for me too, had to really push them in, not uncomfortable, just had to push harder than usual.
These are extremely impressive for the price, I agree, imo these are the best budget kings.
