"I have some very expensive sets, like the IE600, and I prefer the EW300 over the IE600"

"Despite this, I still recommend the ew300 dsp to whomever is starting the hobby, under 100 euros."

"I think the Simgot are the best value for money in general."

"Ew300 are the most confortable ones I’ve testes thought"

"I'd go so far as to say that comfort is one of the *biggest* selling points of the EW300. ... They're absurdly comfortable. ... But they're *very* comfy."

"when my ew300 came it felt like it's just air. ... the ew300 is smaller than the red and maybe comfortable with your full face helmet?"

"In the opening scene, the EW300 allowed me to almost analytically locate where enemies were hiding. The imaging is sublime. ... Mafia features many stealth segments requiring precise audio positioning of enemies. The EW300 performs superbly, especially in upper mids and treble, allowing near-surgical placement of static or moving elements. ... enemies are positioned holographically, both in depth and horizontal plane."

"the gaming experience as well as eq potential on the DSP version is insane, at least for the price."

"Simgot EW300 (4.5) - nearly endgame but still needs better sound separation. ... in the end I recommend the 7Hz G1, 7Hz Sonus and EW300. ... I feel that you will be perfectly happy with the performance of the iems I recommended. ... Yes the EW300 is better of the 3 but barely. You could still be fine with either the sonus or G1 and still perform well in-game ... The IEMs I recommended for competitive gaming are also good for immersive/casual gaming. ... EW300... has the advantage of also being good for competitive fps games ... I thoroughly enjoy the EW300 as it's been one of my most used IEMs so if you can get the extra cash, the EW300 would be my personal pick."

"dsp version is like having 7 iems, 2 with the noozles swapping + the free EQ settings."

"Then I installed Equalizer APO on my laptop, it's such a massive game changer. I'm able to juice out some frequencies and suit it to my liking. After EQ'ed, I returned to Silver nozzle to get back some of the reduced treble. Now I'm really happy with my EW300."

"absolutely LOVE the Simgot EW300 - excellent fast and impactful bass (never sluggish)"

"I’d gibe the Simgot EW300 a try, I bought those after I sent the Hexa back and they’re a really punchy set with great bass, and about the same cost. ... Punchy, but can have some really deep rumble too."

"The EW300 has beautiful vocal, god treble, and very present bass."

Disliked most:

"The bass is bloated. ... Mid bass punch is average. ... I can live with lower bass but can't bear any bloated bass."

"I knew it was quite treble heavy, but I expected the treble to be clear to compensate for that, it is not. The treble is very muddy and the weak bass next to it just results in a suboptimal listening experience unless you listen to songs only containing mids like classical string instruments."

"the ew300 doesn't have enough bass for me, I had to EQ it to sound as I please ... recently bought the ew300 based on reviews and how it has good bass and sounds fun, but to me it has very little bass."

"I've had the KZ ZS10 Pro X, Simgot ew200 and ew300 and sold them all because I thought the treble was too much for me. ... I feel like it's uncomfortable having that much 'noise' trapped in your ear."

"Simgot EW300 sound really good, great options in box, but do not fit well for about 30% of people. ... Probably fit better in smaller rather than larger ears. ... I have tried a bunch of tips and they just do not fit well for proper seal and to remain in place."

"Most tips pop out of my ears. It acts like the nozzle is short, although it doesn't look all that short. I think it's something to do with the fit generally rather than nozzle length per se, but the end result is I can't use most of my tip collection with them."

"The biggest issue: the midrange gets very muddled in busy tracks. Normally I would try other tips to see if that helps, but I'm limited to one tip that both fits properly and gets rid of the zingy upper treble."

"Overall presentation is not coherent. ... The recessed mids and piezoelectric treble timbre is very much audible. ... I agree with the muddied mid thing. For example, at the start of suzume theme song, its incredible but when many instruments start to play altogether, it seems to lose clarity."

"Big problem is the midrange gets very muddled with busy tracks, so $20 1DD sets will outperform then a lot of the time. ... Avoid."

"the mids were recessed and muddled in busy tracks (most indian songs are pretty busy imo). ... can't bear this muddled, recessed mids and metallic treble timbre"

"The piezoelectric timbre and peaky treble gave it a somewhat unnatural sound, lacking coherency, especially noticeable at higher volume. ... metallic treble timbre ... can't bear this muddled, recessed mids and metallic treble timbre"

"Personally, i find the delci less harsh than the ew300, so delci is better for long term usage."

"more problematically, it gets quite muddled in the midrange. ... don't have problems with instrument separation like the EW300 does. ... The main distorted guitar parts just turn to mush."

"i find the delci better in term of soundstage."

Greetings! I was also using my Air Pods Pro 2 and I also thought they sounded great. Then I tried some $5 iems and said fuck the AirPods! I escalated and now I am happily married to my EW300s.

The EW300. I have not tried the Kiwi Ears but looking at reviews I have read that the Cadenza are “boomy” with a dominant bass. And the EW300s really take advantage of all three drivers. The sound is not muddy and in some songs the percussions are heard separately. Definitely buy the EW300, plus it has two tuning mouthpieces that do work.

By the way, I do have the EW300. I speak from my experience, at least with those. I have not tried the Cadenza but reading reviews I think they were not suitable for me.

Coming from big bulky kz stuff, the simgot ew300 are smaller and feel pretty comfortable. The housing is entirely metal and technically hypo-allergenic (the silver one, the black variants peel over time) They do pickup fingerprints and oils a bit more than other IEMs but it also wipes clean much more easily.

What about Kefine Delci AE? Personally i found the EW300 to be a little harsh in the treble region, that may just be me though

ew300 are a nice allrounder that will do any genre nicely. also comes with different nozzles that slightly alter the sound profile. its a nice choice on a blind buy for those reasons if you just want to just get a set and be good for a long time truthear gates are nice if you want to get your toes wet with lower investment

thats what a warm set with a more mellow treble response will sound like if you wanted more clarity then thats more what the hexa's are for. if you want something more lively sounding but still balanced then theres simgot ew300

I would go for something with a more allrounder type signature. hexa are quite neutrally tuned which isn't really recommended on a blind buy as many new to the hobby could find that signature flat and boring, especially for something like DnB something like the simgot ew300 would do well for that genre and just have a generally more widely appealing signature

I don't know why you gave this weird price range, but the ones you mentioned aren't really what I'd recommend. Since you are ready to spend $80, get the Simgot EW300.

Of all the IEMs I have, for some reason, the one I like the most is the Aful Explorer. I also have the Kefine Klean, Kefine Delci Ae, Sivga Que, Kiwi Ears Airoso, Lesthouer S08, Simgot EW300, Hidizs MP143, and MP145. All of these IEMs have a somewhat neutral, warm signature, but they all have excellent, very different sounds. I recommend the Aful Explorer, it's the best without a doubt. I won't tell you about the Hidizs MP145 because they're too big and can have adjustment problems if you have a narrow ear canal. Another thing I recommend is that you play with different types of cables and eartips, they can make a difference.

I have them both and enjoy both of them but to my ears and tastes I do prefer the Cadenza. Cannot beat them for the price and they punch waaaayyy above their range.

I compared a bunch of IEMs at audio shops. While I don't remember which IEMs sounded brighter to me, I can recommend the Letshuoer S8 for its clarity and balance of bass and treble. I listen to a lot of EDM and pop (US, K-pop, J-Pop, Eastern European, Latin/Spanish), and one of the things I compared was the, for lack of a better term, drop in Zedd's Spectrum ("we'll RUN where lights won't chase us"). The S08s had that IT factor in Spectrum, and the sounds did not bleed together. I found it was similar to the Simgot EW300, but I chose the S08 because it wasn't as bass heavy, felt more balanced, and I presumed I wouldn't be as fatigued listening to them. That being said, I do not like my music too bright. I think the S12 might have been brighter than the S08, but I felt the S08 had a crisp, clear sound that accentuated what I was looking for. I'm told my preference is V-shaped.

Simgot EW300 is great and so is the Letshuoer S08. I'll share what I wrote about it somewhere else. >I've tested both the Simgot EW300s and Letshuoer S08s in person, along with many other units that were more expensive. I'm also pretty new to the IEM scene and I bought my first pair this past summer. Both units sounded very similar to me. I'm not familiar with all the terminology, so I'll describe them the best I can. >They both had decent 3D effects with clarity. I liked being able to hear distinction between the instruments and the vocals. One of the things I looked for was the "It" factor when listening to the drop/chorus in Spectrum by Zedd. I suppose this might be the fabled "eargasm", but it basically feels like my heart dropping from striking the right chord. Both units were capable of that "It" factor. Both have solid, metal builds (EW300 is heavier than S08), and I didn't experience sibilence (harsh hissing sound) from either. I get sick of treble easily (treble sensitive?), and I felt that I was more likely to get annoyed by the EW300 than the S08, so I chose the S08. **I think you can't go wrong with either the EW300 nor the S08.** EW300 is a tad heavier than S08, but they're both made of metal and feel sturdy. I'm super happy with my S08s.
