Tri i3 MK3. Superb clarity and separation/imaging. However requires foam ear tips ideally. Kotori audio Zephyr for neutral tuning with a little warmth. Also try Final Audio E5000 for an old school iem with warmth and clarity.

Its tricky. I would tend to agree sub 500 pounds. Love the sennheiser ie300 single DD. Id pick this over any hybrid below 500. However tri i3 MK3 is a tribrid with a lovely timbre (I listen to classical). Also the Katori Audio Vampire is a single BA without any ba timbre, but it achieves this I suspect at the expense of frequency extension - warm lush mids with rolled of treble.

The i3 is better, and stands out from most tribrids because it uses a real 10mm full planar for the highs. The "planars" you see advertised in most modern hybrids are "micro-planars" which are in fact SPD-like packages that are meant to be drop-in alternatives to BAs. They are only called planars for marketing and because they sound somewhat like a planar, but they are different. IMO tribrids with proper full planars sound better but are usually very expensive and not common. TRI i3 mk3 is the one cheap model I know of. The only downside is don't go in seeing that beryllium DD and expect big slam bass like the OH10 or something from Xenns. It is tuned for snappy but not powerful neutral bass. It has an audiophile tuning that favors mids and highs. This. A sleeper since this IEM came out over a year ago but I like it better than Odyssey and Tea Pro. There are many special things about this IEM, the only downside is the size. If you can't handle large shells and large nozzles you're gonna have to at least tip roll a bunch. For me with very small TWS tips that were a bitch to get on they feel very comfortable and the seal is great. Another great alternative is Volume S. Both have this feeling of being "audiophile basshead", meaning they have basshead driver qualities but more restrained tuning that has more mid-bass vs lots of modern sets which focus on sub-bass, and the level is overall lower but the bassy quality is still there.

Hybrid: ISN H60. 1DD: Tanchjim Origin. All-BA: FiiO FA7s I haven't used enough Tribrids and Planars to say for sure. Right now TRI i3 mk3 and Tangzu Wu Zetian. I have plenty more sets but these are my favorites if put to it.

Ziigaat Odyssey if you want something neutral with bass boost (the bass really kick in ngl I love that), Performace 5 if you want warm tuning, Kbear Tri I3 Mark 3 if you want something bright but not harsh smooth and great for vocal.

Moondrop concerto without doubt, great tuning. Also tri i3 mk3 good underrated iem, sadly mine broke.

Right now it's probably the TRI i3 mk3. Edit: I totally forgot that the Ziigaat Estrella was under $300 so it's definitely up there as well.

If you have sensitive ears then I'd recommend tri i3 mk3. Great all rounder, don't get fooled by the graphs of it because it's enough bass. Premium hardware for that price

Eu não achei ele agressivo não, achei ele bem detalhado mas sem ser agressivo. E olha que eu tenho os ouvidos até um pouco chatos pra agudos...

Seeing reactions around Meteor for being tamed to less quantity, I sort of can imagine what pass through manufacturer's mind... Anyway, It is a clear patter to me, I love my Tri I3 MK3, but street noise kills it, it is wonderful at night, in total silence, though.

Godly tuning, copy+pasted it to my tri i3 mk3, elevated the iem to another level. Still deciding on getting either this or the apevoix grit.
