I have the most affordable of the avocado brand mattresses (eco I think?) which was $1200 and worth every penny. Super comfy and fair trade so I’m not sleeping on the backs of child slaves. Is firm in a solid sense but still soft enough to get cozy.

I bought avocado eco green base mattress & added an Etsy ordered merino wool topper. Stuck with all organic. Use shark pole fan on slowest speed. Mattress is more on firm side but seems fine after about 40 nights & counting. Definitely sleeps cooler. Disposed of novafoam 14". I did experience a great few nights sleep in an Ayers hotel in CA that uses a Dream Sleeper II specifically made for Ayers. Had Ayers in name. A+ mattress too!

Costco does have an Avocado, or at least they did a few months ago. I ordered it online and it was an easy pickup from them when I decided to return it. The bed was very nice, but not firm enough for us. Could be worth trying from Costco if for no other reason than easy returns! We ended up with a Sleep on Latex (which is super firm). That said we still have a “normal” adult mattress in the house from Costco and it’s great too… we keep a mattress protector on it and don’t worry too much about it.

I got the avocado mattress from Costco and it failed the ruler test. I am now returning and likely going to buy the Plank matteess

I highly recommend sleep on latex! We tried the avocado in person and didn’t like it so I’d try it first if possible.

Had an Avocado for 2 years, no sagging but way firmer than expected. Took months to break in and hurt my hips as a side sleeper at first. Consider adding a topper. Also it's insanely heavy.

We had the naturpedic for a crib mattress. I know they are supposed to be very firm but it was so hard and I wonder if that’s why he didn’t sleep well in his crib. We got a full size Avocado a couple months ago for a floor bed so we can Co sleep and it’s very nice! I will say it felt too soft for the first couple days and we were worried. But it firmed up as it aired out. Now it’s very comfortable. He has been sleeping very wonderfully on it, too.

We have twin and queen mattresses from Avocado. They have a bit of a unique smell occasionally, I think because of the wool, but I don't find it offensive. They are HEAVY though!  I also got their twin waterproof mattress protector for one bed and the Naturepedic equivalent for the other, and both of those have worked great for multiple kid related fluids, lol. And just in case you're looking for new pillows to, I switched to a buckwheat hull pillow earlier this year. I love it, and I've heard millet hull ones are even nicer.

We paid a ton of money for our king avocado (from the manufacturer) and 5 years later it dips in the middle. Disappointing bc we have an avocado crib mattress that we used for 2 kids and it’s been fine.

Fwiw, I have both a queen avocado and a crib size avocado and both have been great. We bought the queen in 2020 and the crib size in 2022.

I have an avocado queen size in my guest room and my baby’s crib mattress is an avocado too and both have been great. The queen is only in the guest room because we got a king size and I wanted an even firmer mattress.

I had an avocado and liked it but prefer a firmer mattress so now I have a “the plank”

We have a king avocado and love it. Best purchase we’ve made as a couple (also the most expensive) but their financing plan was interest free over 12 months. Also got one of their bed frames which is beautiful. Word to the wise. The mattress is *extremely* heavy. Took our movers 4 people to get it up the stairs
