If you wear the edges get a big fig because it's firmer than titan luxe and the edges are actually firm. In the titan not only are the edges less firm but there's a weird disconnect between where the actual edges are and where you think they are causing me to fall a couple times until I understood how to sit on it LOL. Buy big fig but ALSO buy a topper because it will hurt due to how firm it is. A 3 inch topper and big fig is your best bet for longer lasting firmness and less pain when your break it in

The Titan Plus Luxe can work for heavier folks, but the real issue is how long the foam holds up. Most of the failures you described come from the top layers compressing and staying flat, not from weak coils. Since you have gone through a few mattresses already, it sounds like the comfort layers were never dense enough for your weight. If you want something built to resist that, take a look at the Helix Plus. It uses heavier steel and high-density foam that stay supportive instead of collapsing into a dip. The idea is simple, keep the surface level so your back does not sink toward the center. It also comes with a limited lifetime warranty, which gives you a bit more security when you are tired of buying a new bed every year.

r/MattressMattress for side sleepers with back pain: what finally worked for you?

I actually have an answer for once! The Titan Luxe, I went down the rabbit hole and kind of went crazy for a while a few years back when I needed to get a new mattress and I found the Titan Mattress mattress from Brooklyn bedding. I am a larger dude with some major back problems I ended up getting that one it was a little firm for me and they sent me a foam topper and it has been perfect. I recently moved in with My Girlfriend and my mattress is now the guest bed and we have a king size bed and the mattress is way too soft and I hate it. We’ve tested out a ton of mattresses we were really close to getting a purple, but I keep finding myself waking up at night uncomfortable in a lot of pain going to the guest bedroom to get a good nights sleep. The customer service is great I reached out to them and they gave me a fantastic discount code and I just placed an order for a king size of the exact same mattress and I’m very excited. It is a heavy duty mattress built for larger individuals I’ve had it for a few years and I am a “ big boy”. I rotate it every couple of months and I haven’t had any issues with sagging or anything like that. Highly recommend it

Titan Luxe’s support really holds up because its coils are really thick. If you’re unsure they offer a 120-night trial so you can try it first before deciding. It has a 10-year warranty that covers sagging which many brands don’t. It’s not the cheapest but you’ll see it’s gonna be more affordable than a lot of other mattresses in the long run.

r/BedroomBuildWhat are the best mattresses for heavier sleepers needing real support?

For heavier sleepers Brooklyn Bedding's Titan line is actually built for this. The Titan Plus Luxe has reinforced coils with higher gauge steel and HD foams that don't break down like regular mattresses. It's designed to handle more weight without sagging over time. Edge support is strong and the coil system is way more durable than standard hybrids. For long term durability you need something specifically engineered for heavier bodies, not just a "firm" regular mattress. The Titan line holds up after years of use without the dip that lighter mattresses get.

Under 1k for plus size maybe try Brooklyn Bedding's Titan Plus or Titan Plus Luxe since they're built specifically for heavier people and way cheaper than Big Fig. Leesa's Plus Hybrid is another option with reinforced coils. All three are designed to not get those dips you're dealing with from cheap Amazon beds and should last way longer than 2-3 years.

checkout the Titan plus luxe. it’s built for heavier sleepers so it won’t cave in like regular beds, but it’s still comfy enough if you’re on your side most nights. the coils are heavy duty for support and the top has more cushion so you don’t feel like you’re on a rock. if you run hot, it also does better with airflow than straight foam beds.

I’d look at RV Mattress first since their stuff actually comes in those weird RV sizes and holds up better than the thin pads most rigs ship with. If you want something with more backbone, Brooklyn Bedding has some solid hybrids that last way longer for full time use. Just measure your frame and pick a height that won’t slam into your cabinets and you’re good.

r/SuperMorbidlyObeseBest mattress for heavy people(500lb+ range) what actually works?

The Titan Plus Luxe is built with reinforced thick coils and can REALLY support higher weight limits. Its hybrid build should give better support and less compression. And Helix Plus is fine too but for me Titan seems stronger for the 500+ range.

I have this mattress and like it. It’s quite firm, which is what I prefer. It has remained firm after several years. My only complaint is that the edge support is pretty poor — and has been from the start. But I feel like I sleep well on the mattress, which is my biggest concern.
