People thing IKEA is crap but they hybrid mattress line comes in 3 firmnesses, has a great warranty and is priced at ~$600 for a queen. Will fit in any SUV and most cars to take home.

Sorry for the slight necro here, but I just tested ANNELAND yesterday and remembered you'd mentioned it! Which firmness are you guys using? I loved the medium firm in the showroom, and it's supposedly the firmness I need, but I'm concerned whether it will be like that at home too after breaking it in. What's your experience?

Anneland is great, I have one for myself, my kids liked it so much that I bought them each a twin size. It’s been about a year and there have been no issues. I got the medium firm.

I had a firm memory foam mattress from ikea (either abygda or akrehamn idk) for a couple years and it was fine, been eyeing Anneland for a while, I had to change a bed size in my new apartment so I went for it, so far I love it. Too early to tell and it's only been a couple months but I've been sleeping really well on it. For that price and considering how expensive mattresses can get, delightful

Ånneland. Foam with pocket spring will last you much longer than just foam! (Just to add, these both offer very different experiences as well. Do you like firmer mattresses or sinking in? Choose the other one if the latter).

In that case I'd say you're probably safer going with the Ånneland. But to echo others it is best to try them out in person :)

I think IKEA has decent mattresses. I have a firm coil based one and I don’t wake up with back pain any more This one is newer model with memory foam and coil Anneland mattress https://applink.ikea.com/tY8M9r9M4w--60511913--us--en

r/FrugalBest mattress under 1000 dollars that actually last? I'm done with fugazis/lemons

I don't understand the luxury mattress market. I think i have a hybrid ikea mattress, it was $200 and still super firm but comfy.

I think my Ikea hybrid mattress is actually great. 5 years old now and it's kind of gross looking but it's still comfortable. Though they did update the models recently so idk, but I would still buy one again cause the price is so good. I never tried any of these newer memory foam mattresses, but I hated the one that I had in 2013. Hard for me to trust an all foam mattress to last. I would prefer to get a hybrid.

I've got the Ånneland mattress from IKEA and love it. Definitely worth it for the price, plus it comes in different firmness depending on your preference!

We had a good experience sleeping on an IKEA mattress at an Airbnb that we sought out that same mattress at our local store to replace our 15 year old latex mattress. The ikea mattress we have now is a hybrid with springs and foam/latex. We’re really happy with it so far.
