Purple - Hybrid Premier 3

Poverty finance Advice, buy mattresses on eBay. I know that sounds crazy but I've bought 4 overstock mattresses that are unused and brand new from mattress stores online. They always have free shipping and arrive flat on a crate wrapped in plastic wrap. My most recent was a PURPLE 3 HYBRID 12" which I LOVE in King size. $4200 mattress and I paid $1850. It arrived in 5 days and had no tears, rips, no signs of use or dirt. It had been opened but was essentially new as far as I could tell. saving over 50% on a mattress is GREAT.

We hate our purple 3, that we bought in June 2020. I’m a side sleeper and it was good for maybe 8 months? I ache…..all. Of. The. Time. 😭 spouse is a stomach/side sleeper and is uncomfortable tossing and turning nightly. We have a split king with adjustable base.

I just checked you guys out. First impress is wow those prices are incredibly competitive. I spent almost double on a comparable mattress (purple hybrid 3). I love the mattress, but wish I got a king instead of a king. Do you guys have any stores in the US? I’d love to check it out in person.

You’re going to have to go to a store and try as many as you can. The mattress for me is not for you. Personally, I had great luck with Purple mattress. I think I have the purple hybrid 3. But some love memory foam, some love spring.

Your comments and knowledge are amazing. Thank you. We have a Purple 3 that is about 6 or 7 years old. It is too soft and needs to go. We loved it for a long time but now think we might need firmer because my husband has parksinons and we are both struggling to turn over at night. I am lost at this point and would consider the newer Purple but they are quite expensive. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I am just replacing my Purple 3 after 6 years. I really liked this mattress. It is definitely more squishy than it was new. I could sleep on it for longer (mostly side sleeper), but my husband can't anymore (he has Parkinson's so pretty specific issues). I planned to get another Purple but their new mattresses don't feel as good- more like the tempurpedic we hated. Ended up ordering an Aireloom. It is more expensive but the better materials and quality are obvious.

We initially went with the Purple 3 and it was too hard for us. We upgraded to the 4 and it's bliss.

There isn't one. I broke the seal in 2020. We bought purple 3. After trying many. Was the most expensive mattress we have ever purchased. Well worth it. being frugal isn't about being cheap. It is also about the value of what you acquire. We have been. Through 10 other big box discount mattresses over the years because they all sucked. Longest any other mattress we had was a sping aire that would have been on the expensive side if not for the Dillard's we purchased at being closed. It lasted 6 years before the box springs, and the mattress began to sag. Being less fortunate when we were younger, I have thrown away several sams specials cause they all sucked.

I’m about your size. A side sleeper and sleep hot. I have the purple hybrid 3 and I love it. I’ve had it for a few years now and so far so good.

I’m about 180 but I love my purple hybrid mattress. It was worth it.

I'm looking at three beds in King Size and we are predominately side sleepers. We believe we like a medium to firm base with a plush euro top but given vast differences in actual feel type, I am open to alternative options. It's a comfortable mattress at medium plush. However me and my wife felt an absolute noticeable increase in temperature from our purple hybrid premier 3. We feel like we are cooking 2 to 3 hours in. It loves to retain heat. Glacier should probably re-label itself as lava mattress and sell to people in the northern Baltic states only. 😐

We currently own a purple hybrid premier 3 and hate it. It's blown at and it's only been 4 years. Appreciate your viewpoint nonetheless.

I have a Purple 3 mattress and i absolutely love it. I’m currently pregnant and laying down on it is the only thing that helps my hip and back pain. We’ve had it about 4 years and I truly wish we would’ve gotten one sooner. I believe they have a 10 year warranty as well
