Based on 1 year's data from Mar 17, 2026 How it works
We just bought a purple. Never wanted to spend that much. No hybrid model. Got the purple plus because it’s got a little extra for side sleepers but it’s a basic purple with that little added extra. I’m a side sleeper. This is the first time we have had no pain in a year. It was $2000 for a king. It is worth it. Return policy is great too if it doesn’t work.
We absolutely love our purple mattress.
We have the purple plus and bought it in 2020. We have similar boy sizes to both of you and we both love it. We had a temperpedic prior and we both felt like it was way too hot.
Purple Plus mattress gives me the best night's sleep for my back. But get an MRI if you haven't already to see what's going on with your back.
The latex mattress- I hated everything about this. The smell, the way it didn’t hold shape, no edge support, it felt like it “jiggled”, and was very firm. My hips were in SO much pain after a month of sleeping on it. We even added a low box spring because it wasn’t very thick and that didn’t help. Even with a latex topper too. The Purple- no support at all. It also had that jiggling sensation with movement, even when I moved on it. It was definitely an improvement and I think if it didn’t have the grid, it might be less jiggly but lacked support. The coil ones they make are too firm feeling. Leesa- My husband refers to it as a waterbed. Feels too soft and like he’s sinking into it and it’s very very bouncy. Which is why the hybrid options feel like a hard no but maybe we haven’t found the right one?
They are not doing well $. Don’t expect much if you need to use the warranty. Not to mention they are way over priced. I have the purple plus. I’m thinking of replacing it after 6 months. I can’t get used to it. It starting to cause back and neck pain.
I love mine so much I bought a second with a bit of an upgrade, actually. It’s kinda weird at first only because it’s both firm and soft at the same time somehow but the purple web is pretty great at staying cool and being firm but yielding without being hot slow spacefoam
I got the purple mattress Costco sells on last week for $800 during their Presidents’ Day sale. It’s the same thing as the Purple Plus mattress and the savings you get from Costco is incredible. Very happy with my purchase after going insane reviewing and testing mattresses all over the place. I felt safe with the return policy and deal you can’t beat. Got an adjustable base on Amazon for $350. Mattress stores can’t even come close
I love my purple plus 🤌🏽🤌🏽
Love my purple+ as a side sleeper who runs hot at night. We got it through one of those mattress store chains so they delivered it inside our room and offered to remove old bed (we sold ours so we didn’t use this service). I think it’s $1700
I can highly recommend the purple mattress, especially if you need the support and/or tend to sleep hot. The plus or premiere offers a soft option that feels like you're sleeping on a cloud (although it might be slightly outside your price range, depending on what size mattress you're looking for). I'm also a side sleeper and wanted a nice soft "sink-into" mattress (that wouldn't get too hot), but we ended up exchanging it for one of the rejuvenate line because it ended up being just a tad bit too soft. At any rate, there's lots of great options out there, hope you're able to find a great deal that works for you, because sleep is so important!
