A few years back an ex and I got a slightly firmer Purple than I really needed. Its still a bit firmer than I’d like. How can I, or is there a way, to soften it so I and anyone staying over will be happier?
Purple rejuvenate line is most non toxic thing you can get. Organic beds are nice but it takes a specific person like the feel of them. If alot of people liked them they would be more popular. You’re just gonna have to spend a quick 30-100,000 dollars on a horse hair bed.
Purples new rejuvenate line feels incredible
Hi OP! Thanks for doing this 😌 250lb, side sleeper, owned a Casper > Purple > Purple Rejuvenate (rebranded intellibed). That being said, are Purple’s worth the cost? Meaning, I dropped ~6k on my king rejuvenate but many say it’s grossly overpriced. I prefer the grid feeling but I often wonder if I’m getting the most value out of paying a premium for Purple versus something all latex or memory foam.
Everyone is different, you have to factor in height, weight distribution, do you run hot on foam, etc. I would say go and find equivalent mattress at a local department store and check it out. You may not find a 1 to 1 match cause I believe some are custom made for Costco but it's close enough. That's what I have done. With Purple, the only one I really like is the top of the line Rejuvenate but it also comes with a top of the line price. Just find out what's closest to the Renew and go to your local department store that carries Purple and try it out.
We did a firm purple, soft enough for her (side sleeper) and enough back support for me (back sleeper with back pain).
Purple Rejuvenate Royal crown . Best mattress I ever felt
Go check out Purples New Rejuvenate Royal Line At Mattress firm . It’s the best mattress I ever layed on.
Ok so we bought that one...thank you
Split king all the way with adjustable base if you can afford it. Costco had Low cost adjustable bases for a great price when we bought ours a 5+ years ago. I do not remember that exact price. But I’m sure it was Less than $1000 for a split king setup. With separately adjustable head, feet and massage. We have two different brand/ type twin XL mattresses. So we both get what we want in a bed and can still sleep together. I do recommend trying to get the same height mattress so you are close to even. For trying to cuddle a little excetra. So if one is fourteen inches try to find a mattress with the firmness/ material the other person likes that is 14 inches. I have a nice soft twin XL Purple mattress that is luxurious. My wife sleeps on A Twin XL extra firm memory foam mattress she bought from Costco online.
Agree, recently got a purple from Costco, the grid gel they use is such a unique feel, highly recommend.
Tossing in my 2 cents on what to avoid. I bought a full size Purple mattress and within 3 years it developed a 1 inch sag. Their warranty sucks too.
