I have the Saatva Classic and love it. Sleepline has the best review I found for it: https://youtu.be/iF9RVI5DjTU?si=1P9oEzqt_8bmctnT
Avoid tempurpedic. They're overhyped and you cam get much better mattresses at that price point. Out of the ones you listed Saatva is probably the best. Ships full sized and they actually have good customer service. Look up "Saatva classic review sleepline" on Google. Its the best review I found for it.
Saatva Classic. Its super comfortable. Sleepline has the best review for it that I've found: https://www.sleepline.com/saatva-mattress-review/
The Saatva Classic is really good. I have one and it basically solved my back pain. [Sleepline](https://www.sleepline.com/saatva-mattress-review/) has the best review I found for it.
Wow this is so thorough, thank you and Roger, and all! I'm looking for similar; organic hybrid latex with spring coils and now taking advice "Dunlop core surrounded by Talalay" and trying to wrap my head around the tufting options. My big question is: Is it possible to get this hybrid combo and use it on an adjustable bed frame? Pretty sure I wouldn't like all latex, I like a bit of bounce, like the old school plush spring mattresses. BTW I ordered a Saatva Luxury Firm and when I sat on the side, it crushed like a cupcake and when I laid down it gave me an immediate headache. I aired it outside for a full week with same instant headache results. Returned it. It looked really nice though. Did you purchase yet? I'm definitely not building my own. thanks again.
For about a year I had been waking up every morning with terrible back and hip pain. I’m 6’2’ 300lbs and my wife is 5’6’ 135. We had a 15 year old Saatva Classic Luxury Frim that we knew needed to be replaced. After weeks of research and deep dives on review sites, we ended up buying the Nolah Evolution Comfort Plus which is designed for plus size side and back sleepers. A further plus was using TruMed to obtain the Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) allowing me to put almost 90% of purchase price on my Medical FSA. It’s been 6 weeks and all my pain is gone. Just gone. Best of luck to you!!
We really loved our Saatva, but it’s $1,000 more than the NOLAH and we couldn’t justify spending it.
For airflow and temperature regulation, anything that lets air move through it beats dense memory foam that traps heat. I went with the Saatva classic in luxury firm, the hybrid coils and breathable foam stay cool and give solid support for my back/side sleeping. I use it with my Mellow sleep cooling pillow, and together they keep me comfortable on warmer nights without constantly adjusting blankets. The pillow also supports my neck while helping regulate temperature, making a big difference for uninterrupted, cool sleep.
Ugh I am in the same fricking boat as you. I had a purple mattress for a long time but as I've gotten older it got to be too soft. I'm also a hot sleeper. A few months ago I went through review site after review site. Sleeplikethedead, consumer reports, tons of other ones. Saatva kept coming up. I looked on the site at all the reviews and took the quiz, and decided to take a chance on a Saatva. I was lucky enough to have a store near me to try them out. There were a few I looked at. [Latex Hybrid](https://www.saatva.com/mattresses/saatva-latex-hybrid?sku=7061-5%2F0&qty=1) And [Classic](https://www.saatva.com/mattresses/saatva-classic?sku=7054-5%2F0&qty=1) * Luxury Firm (11.5) - Medium firmness, perfect balance of cushioning and uplifting support. Designed to replicate the feel of luxury hotel beds * Firm (11.5) Lying on top of the mattress rather than sinking in. Balanced resistance that’s never hard on the back and joints * Firm ( 14.5). Ever so slightly more Firm than that. The reviews aren't wrong. It really is a great bed. I would say the Luxury firm If you don't ever end up on your back.. The 11.5 Firm if you do end up on your back, and the 14.5 firm if your back muscles have started getting so tight they make your chest muscles hurt. I went with the 14.5 because I was afraid I'd get it home and after prolonged sleeping it would feel too soft. Honestly I can lay / side sleep without pain pressure on my shoulder. Even the 14.5. My only complaint about this mattress is I haven't yet gotten a new bedframe, I got the foundation because it was cheap, and with the 14.5 I have a princess and the bowling ball situation going on. The top of the mattress is above my hip bone and I have to jump up into bed like some kind of Kevin Hart impressionist. Half of me doesn't want to get a new frame because of the hilarity. Watch a bunch of YouTube reviews as well, but I've been quite happy. With a 1 year trial and a lifetime warranty, and it being less than half the price of my old Purple mattress, it's worth every dollar. They should be having deeper discounts coming up soon as well.
I just switched from a purple to a Saatva a week and a half ago and it's been wonders on my back pain. I went to the store thinking it was either between the latex hybrid or the classic (having taken the test online). The hybrid was definitely not firm enough. I then tried the regular classic in 11" and it was close but not quite right. The dealer said the 14" was just a little firmer. And he was right. It's perfect. Definitely take the test and head to a store if you're able.

As someone looking for a new king after going through three Saatvas...my experience every time with them was you will like it for a year or two but all three have sagged considerably with the infamous king ridge. For reference I'm 5'10 240 back sleeper due to cpap. The best one was the original one which lasted about 3.5 years untill sagging was 1-2 inches. Last two have a lot of sagging within a year. Their customer service with us has been pretty good. Replacement beds with partial warranty claim were around 700-1200 . I'm done playing that game with them though I just can't justify going with them for a 4th time in 10 years
I have been sleeping on Saatva Classic. At first took awsy my shoulder and neck, back pain but now is sagging. I hate Yempu-pefic beds. Thinking of getting a bed from Costco. Any sugesstions for medium firm choices?
6'3" 220lbs and 5'7" 145lbs, mostly side but some back. Currently have a 3 yr old king Saatva Classic on a slatted frame and bunkie board. Major sagging and tossing constantly, not enough support and bad pressure relief. We had tried their latex mattress before this one and I hated it. We've laid on several in Mattress Firm and Mattress Warehouse (NC) and liked: Beautyrest Black 3 Series firm tight top, S&F Lux Estate Firm pillowtop, and a Kingsdown but don't recall the model. All are around $4k. We prefer a hybrid. Wife prefers firm for her back issues, I'm ok with that but know some pressure relief is good for our sides. I'm near the edge of the weight recommendation for a "heavy person" bed but I'm just a big guy so don't think we need that necessarily. We stayed at a Ritz Carlton recently and enjoyed their custom S&F. That is $4k also but only available from the Marriott store and no returns accepted. We also visited a couple discount stores and liked a Kingsdown Prime firm model which we could get for $700... this makes us question everything all over again. We don't like the idea of bed in a box and the marketing is just overwhelming. Obviously, things are very subjective here but there has to be some good objective data that can help us choose, or at least be sure to avoid, certain brands. HELP please
Not at all. Because this is health related its going to be very different for every individual. Honestly you really have to test them personally because bad reviews are 99% due to the bed just not meant for their body condition and they picked the wrong one. Just make sure they have good quality builds that will last for years and the rest would be based on your initial 60day trial. I snagged a like new Saatva Original returned queen on FBMP for like 380$ with shipping and delivery. BEST DECISION EVER.
I would recommend the Saatva classic in Firm. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm a side sleeper and got the plush soft and had the same issues as you. Went back to the showroom and the sales guy said I needed the Firm. I tried it out and it's been great for me, especially after the break in period. I'm 52 male, 5'7 155lbs and in shape. This is just my experience. I know that most of Reddit thinks that the luxury firm is like sleeping on cinder blocks, but the firm was the best experience for me. Also Saatva has the 365 day trial period and free white glove delivery. If you choose to return it, it's a $99 removal fee, but they come to pick it up. Hope this helps.
I was 205lbs when I got the Saatva classic in plush soft. It was perfect for the 1st 3-4 months. Then it fully broke in and was way too soft. I'm 150lbs now and have the Firm and broken in, it's perfect for me. I'm a side sleeper
I have the classic firm in queen. Im 150lbs. I had the plush soft but after break in, it was too soft. I switched for the firm and I have to say that once broken in, feels better than most hotel mattresses. People that have slept in my bed have always asked about the mattress.
