My last temperpedic was garbage. At 2 years it had hills and valleys. God, I was horrified at how much money we spent in the last 10 years on mattresses. Problem solved. We bought a latex mattress. 13" king from SleepEZ. The Natural was 2250. The Organic was 2550. They are customizable and there's a 20 year (for real) warranty. Got a dip or a divot? They send you another layer and they pay for you to send the other back. No off gassing, no formaldehyde or chemicals. You can get Talalay layers for the "sinking" feeling . Call SleepEZ customer service, tell them your height/weight and preferred squishiness. Good luck.

Maybe its time to re think memory foam. Its crap, and the quality has only gotten worse since covid. Look into latex. You wont have to return it, its customizable. SleepEZ, Sleep on Latex, Latex for Less, Latex Mattress Factory. No off gassing, totally natural product, no b.s. Or buy one of the ones you mentioned, and in 2 years you'll be back here looking for another mattress. How do I know? I bought all of those, spent a fortune and was mad as hell every time they wouldn't honor their warranties. I FINALLY talked my husband into going the latex route. No more problems. We're set for the next 20 years. Good luck. Choose wisely. The struggle is real.
My SleepEZ mattress is mostly Dunlop. I returned the top layer for a Talalay layer. (That's the greatest thing about these beds...they are 100% customizable.) My husband's side is very firm. He loves it. My side is now perfect and we've got a 20 year warranty. Got a divot or a sag? Call the company and they'll exchange a layer. Its that easy. Im done spending a fortune only to have the memory foam fail in less than 2 years. Side note: My mom had a latex bed around 1950. It became mine in the 60's. I used it till 1989. That same mattress is now sitting in a spare room in New England.
$1900 for a king size in 2021. SleepEZ organic latex and it was worth it. I came from a 15 year old memory foam that was probably about the same price adjusted for inflation, and the memory foam was probably comfortable for my back, but far worse for extracurricular activities with my wife.
For support, latex is the better choice. But since you're pretty lightweight, you'll likely need soft latex foam - either soft Dunlop latex (denser, supportive) or soft Talalay latex (less denser, more cushioning). A few additional recommendations I can give here - 1. **Turmerry** Organic Latex Mattress 2. **SleepEZ** Organic Latex Mattress 3. **SleepOnLatex** Pure Green Organic Latex Mattress 4. **Avocado** Organic Latex Mattress 5. **PlushBed** Organic Latex Mattress (The Botanical Bliss) 6. **LatexMattressFactory** Luxerion Dunlop Latex Mattress
I love my latex bed. Will never have any other kind of
I bought a Dunlop latex mattress - softest Dunlop available and it was too firm, but I added a 3" 14 ILD Talalay topper and it made everything perfect for me. I bought my mattress from a small store in Roanoke Virginia, not one of the big box or mattress in a box latex mattresses. A few years after I bought mine, my husband's waterbed sprung a leak (fun times, that - NOT). He liked my latex mattress, and was able to buy a latex mattress from Sleep on Latex, an online vendor, and he loves it as much as I love my mattress.
Sleep EZ organic latex
SleepEZ 7" organic latex, customized (medium talalay over firm dunlop). Perfect sleep since October 2020.
From what I have gathered. Both are good quality latex. But they serve different roles: -Roma = best budget latex value -Sleep On Latex = better comfort and longevity That price difference is mostly paying for more comfort material and maybe better long-term performance. You could always buy the Roma and add a soft or medium 3” latex topper. That would probably blow right past the SOL as far as comfort is concerned. We have the 10” SleepEZ Organic w/ 3” soft Talalay topper and it is heavenly.
SleepEZ. Went with their Organic Latex Mattress. The 10” then added the 3” soft Talalay topper. If you order the mattress, wait for it to arrive, then call them back to discuss adding the topper, they’ll give you 50% off as they’d rather work with you to find the right comfort level vs having you return the mattress. It’s a nice discount! https://sleepez.com/product/organic-latex-mattress/
I believe your best bet will be an all latex mattress. Check out SleepEZ. We have the 10” organic w/ 3” soft topper, and absolutely love it! Another popular brand is Sleep on Latex.

I have scoliosis that no one would notice but it means that I need to sleep on the side where my ribs are concave to flatten the other side of my ribs that are the opposite of concave (ie; convex). It that makes sense.
You're right of course. My journey is here: https://old.reddit.com/r/Mattress/comments/1jswv49/my_latex_mattress_research_so_far_which_of_these/ I am leaning towards Turmerry 7". They are in North Carolina and I live in Southern California. Also, Sleep EZ in Arizona. Avocado is local to me but their all latex is not in stock and does not look very firm - to me. And it's 3 times the cost of the Turmerry or Sleep EZ. Thank you for all the detailed info. I appreciate it.
go to mattressunderground forum... google it. You will discover that there are dozens and dozens manufacturers you have never hear of --- down the rabbit hole you go... I looked for months -- and finally landed here: SLEEP EZ -- organic latex -- best sleep ever. Small shop. Great customer service. Best thing about REAL LATEX -- non toxic, those with latex allergies -- are not affected by true LATEX mattresses, Last for decades, are modular because they have layers of firmness that you can put together yourself based on your needs and sleeping habits... I could go on ... Maybe not a shock to you - but COST - is more than your cheap mattresses from the mattress store -- you get what you pay for -- Latex manages your body temp - when its cold ... you sleep warm, when its hot you stay cool --- my wife loves the latex mattress -- at 51 sometimes she goes from cold to hot in seconds... latex is the way...
great. nice and responsive.... unlike memory foam where you sink into it like a hot marshmellow .... Latex has support and bounce to it... not like a playground ball... but there is support when you need it ... and it does push back if that makes sense. We didn't want a memory foam mattress for this exact reason... you sink in and get swallowed up... good latex mattresses don't do this...
My husband had bad shoulder pain. We bought a spilt king from SleepEZ recently. It’s their organic mattress. The layer on his side is 2” soft Talalay. Then 3” medium Talalay, and the bottom layer is 3” of firm Dunlap. He hasn’t complained of shoulder pain since, and has been able to do yard work longer. I think the Talalay layers really help and it’s the reason why we chose sleepez over other latex mattresses.
My household has a latex hybrid (MyGreenMatress) and two all latex mattresses (SleepEZ). Both have different feels. Try to find somewhere local that has both and test them out. My mattress is all latex and I’m very happy with it. I am so glad to rid my home of flame retardants and memory foam.
