We tried the ProAdapt firm and also loved it but were scared off by the price tag. We ended up with the TempurPedic Supreme Firm from Costco and love it. We think it feels similar and it was almost half the price, plus the Costco backing and right now they have a $300 gift card promotion too.

That's what we bought! I have a bad back and was very concerned that this would suck after six months. There's a bit of a hump in the middle where we don't sleep, but it's held up nicely for nearly two years now. I love it.

Got the purple for guest room and the Tempurpedic Supreme for main bedroom. Both are great!

Im digging the Costco Tempurpedic, the non-hybrid medium one! Its my first nice mattress, and I feel like I can not worry about whether it will sag or not because of Costco's killer warranty. Roughly 6 months in, break in was maybe a month, and it wasn't bad during that time. Very happy.

It's a Tempurpedic, Costco gets store-specific models. Their Tempurpedic Supreme falls between Pro-Adapt and Adapt - it's using the foam from a version back (good thing!). More detail here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Mattress/comments/1h5s1o2/any\_longterm\_costco\_tempurpedic\_supreme\_owners/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Mattress/comments/1h5s1o2/any_longterm_costco_tempurpedic_supreme_owners/) It's not about price, it's the massive number of horror stories on reddit that did it for me. People invest 5k in a high end Tempurpedic, it sags in a couple of years, and the warranty is designed not to applicable. Gross stuff. However, Costco is no-questions-asked. For me, that means I can take the risk, not feel like I'm gambling, and if that horror story happens? Back it goes.

The Firm Adapt and Proadapt were crazy hard, they didn't feel comfortable to me. Soft seems great in the higher models, but I worried about longevity. Costco has medium, so I got medium.

6", 160! Firm was too firm for me, in-store. Medium is a great balance, Soft was a marshmallow in a good way, but I worried if it'd soften MORE over time.

I have a tempurpedic firm cooling mattress and am considering buying a Sealy from the pro or elite line. What do you think about these mattresses?

I just got a temper pedic and I love it. Costco has a good deal at them they’re like $1700 after tax if you factor in the gift card.

I just got a temper pedic and I love it. Costco has a good deal on them they’re like $1700 after tax if you factor in the gift card. I got the firm model and it feels so good I weigh 255 and it is firm but also perfect for me as I prefer firm.

Just to chime in here about Costco mattresses in general. I just got a Tempur-pedic firm from them and the delivery and overall experience was great. The mattress is well under $1000 less than the Temp store and the mattress is better. I had the Adapt firm and it was awful. Firm seems to be in vogue these days so personally I'd go with the newer Tight Top but naturally, that's your call. I also got a $300 gift card but that might be for Temp only, not sure.

r/MattressWhat actually works for side sleepers?

My recommendation is to take 2 hours and go to a mattress store and try them out. I'm a side sleeper and recently made a big mistake. I got a firm foam mattress and my shoulder would get crushed. Get a medium firm euro top top pillow top that will support your shoulder. Only way to know is to try them out. Im now with a stearns and foster and sleeping way better then with the firm tempurpedic. Good luck

I’m looking into the adapt as well. It is quite pricey. But I plan to finance w tempurpedic and believe they offer 5% and w memorial sale too. I bought a tempur at Costco and Im not feeling it. I got the hybrid medium and it makes me hot. I received the firm at first and it is way too firm so got it shipped back. May need to ship this hybrid one now. Good thing Costco has a good return policy but imo I wouldn’t buy a mattress from Costco. Sure you’re getting a deal but it’s not worth my back.
