Yes, but I want to stay in the Costco ecosystem because the returns and warranty is so strong. I also tried a tempurpedic supreme hybrid it it's just to soft for my weight even at "medium firm" rating.
Yes I do, I was in the exact same position as you except I went with a tempurpedic after the Kirkland pillow top and did not like it. The tight top Kirkland is much better in my opinion.
Just bought a tempurpedic supreme medium hybrid. So far so good. Have had only less than a week. Really liked the pro adapt medium hybrid in MF so it was a no brainer to try the Costco tempur given the return policy. Good Luck!
Not sure what your budget is but we have the tempurpedic medium hybrid from Costco and love it. We’ve had it since late August. I had horrible back issues from an old mattress and this one has been great. Good luck on your search. We went to mattress firm and tried different mattresses and read a ton on Reddit to try to find the most similar models to try out since Costco doesn’t have displays.
I just got the Tempur-pedic Supreme Hybrid with the Ergo Adjustable Base from Costco, and I love it! It's would rate it medium-firm, so I think it's pretty good for stomach sleepers, but it's also good for side sleeping. In shopping for this mattress, I also liked the Casper Snow, but that was softer.
I also just went through all this same research. Came to the same conclusion that I never thought to try a foam bed (5’11, 240lb side sleeper). Tried the Costco tempurpedic supreme blah blah medium hybrid after some people’s recommendations. Honestly, alleviated my back pain in probably 3 days. Have only had it for 2 weeks so still breaking it in, but has been miles better than I was willing to give credit to and way cheaper ($1500 difference) through Costco versus their pro adapt mattress in the retail stores. Plus the Costco return policy if I do end up cratering this thing a couple of years haha
I don’t think so, but they do rename it. From what I understand their Supreme model is just the previous adapt model but I don’t know that for sure
So I had read that the hybrid versions were slightly softer. I’m not sure what that translates to real world, but since I’m a heavier side sleeper, I thought there was less risk going a point or so softer versus the firmer all foam version.
Yea, horrible experience with lake ridge. We returned it and got the tempurpedic supreme (medium). We love it.
Last year I bought the Kirkland Signature Sterns and Foster for the guest bedroom. I recently bought the Tempur-Pedic Supreme Medium Hybrid with king (not split) adjustable base. Both are very good. I very much like the hybrid and adjustable base, although it did not fit inside my current bedframe. So I just put the headboard against the wall and the adjustable base. For the past 15 years we slept on a Novafoam, also from Costco. It was super soft and I think now that I’m older I prefer a little more firmness. When I bought these two new mattresses I was at the point I was tired of my research and it was time to roll the dice. From reading reviews it seems a lot of people are in search of the one and only mattress that will satisfy them and it is elusive. Maybe I should be happy I am lucky to not suffer their joint pain, but it seems many go looking to be disappointed in their mattress. Anyway, I would give my recommendation for the medium hybrid tempurpedic from Costco.
We just bought the Tempur-Pedic Supreme 11.5” Medium Hybrid Mattress a couple months ago and we LOVE it. So incredibly comfortable.
Yes, still love this mattress
i’m in a similar position as you. following to see what others may suggest. i’ve tried the tempurpedic supreme medium hybrid and i’m now on week 2 of the leesa legend, both from costco. i’m honestly starting to think that maybe hybrids aren’t for me and i need to go back to full foam one, like my old mattress. i wanna stick to costco as well so i’m considering maybe the casper cooling all memory foam one? idk what i’m doing anymore but the leesa is giving me full back pain.
YMMV. Just got Costco's Tempur-Pedic Supreme 11.5” Medium Hybrid delivered on Friday. Little to no off gassing, and we were able to sleep comfortably the first night. Loving it so far, just hope it lasts.
We got the Tempur Pedic Supreme Hybrid from Costco after trying a few Tempurs at Mattress Firm. Significantly cheaper through Costco and comparable but may not be a match for everyone. 1 week in and our sleep quality has improved dramatically and we feel like we’re waking up feeling refreshed again. Our old bed was probably just that terrible but so far it’s great and optimistic of the longevity with Tempur Pedic’s history.
Spouse is a side sleeper. I’m mostly back and stomach. Main reason for us was we were coming from a traditional foam and were getting very overheated in that bed so the hybrid being able to handle body heat better was a big draw. The adjustable base has also been a dream when back pain has started to flare up. Looking back, the one thing I wish I would have considered was going for the split base as we quickly realized we like different position settings for different reasons. It’s a solid 8.5-9/10 bed 3+ months in.
