r/GoodValueBest pillow top mattress options - quality AND longevity?

It's been yeeeaaars since I got them, so those exact products aren't available anymore, but any 2-3" memory foam topper should do fine, and the fiberbed topper was basically [just like this one](https://www.target.com/p/ultra-loft-down-alternative-mattress-pad-casaluna/-/A-82038535). As for the mattress, you're looking for a firm pocket-coil innerspring (not a Bonnell coil) without any pillowtop or "hybrid" foam layers, and preferably double-sided/flippable -- e.g., [something like this](https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/Home-Garden/Priage-by-Zinus-Select-Tight-Top-8-inch-Queen-size-Spring-Foam-Mattress/6756791/product.html) (not clear if that one's flippable tho').

I have a Zinus hybrid spring mattress and I find it very comfortable. They are also not super expensive and you can buy online. I had a foam one prior to this and it was also ok but changed in texture in the spot I slept more often.

I currently have the Sealy Mount Auburn purchased in 2021. I previously had a cheap Zinus MF, and it was definitely better in comparison. However, I found it to be quite firm and started the long journey of matress toppers to gain better pressure point relief for side sleeping. The matress is in perfect condition with no sagging, but after 4 years, I feel it's just not for me. It's not bad but not great. I highly recommend a sturdy wooden frame/foundation as it did improve my comfort level some. Buying from Costco is always a win with the service and return policies, so trying it is literally risk-free.

Ours came with an rv king but we put a regular zinus memory foam king and it fit fine. A bit longer at the feet but doable. And way more comfortable.

You should get a bed in a box from Amazon instead. I have purchased multiple Zinus brands and love them!

Buy it off Amazon. They're like 200-300 bucks. Zenus is really good.
