"Just a no fuss system. ... Plug in, download the app, set ssid and don't worry about it anymore for years. ... Mine has been stable and working for years."

"Seriously, set it up at my parents too a couple of years ago. So easy to use"

"It’s easy and reliable. ... This is all really easy to set up in my experience, and it just works."

"Actually better than a range extender, as Mesh systems are designed from the ground up to work with each other in the system. ... But it's half ass "patched up" jerky jerky mesh was no match to a Deco. Deco was snappier, more reliable, and longer range."

"I myself have a deco and we have four modules through a long rambly ranch house and we have nearly 300 MB per second everywhere because we have about 1 GB per second fiber to the house."

"tplink just works ... I follow up with my customers each month and they say everything is much better and working great. I only hardwire nodes, never wireless, and I buy the wifi6e versions- I’m not saying tplink is better than Unifi, just saying a hardwired network and wifi where you need it is the recipe."

"I have a TP link Deco with all nodes hardwired it works brilliantly."

"on the 2nd unit i hardwire my work computer into it and I get around 940 mbs of my 1 gbs line."

"deco have very nice, cheap and reliable options ... tp link is best bang for buck"

"rubbish app that won't let you change settings 9 times out of 10"

"I 'upgraded' to a deco system months ago, unaware that this is meant for the average user and advanced features are crippled, e.g. browser config is minimal as they want you to use the app. ... No luck querying the DHCP reservations from a script."

"I don't like that almost all management must be done with an app and not a web interface. ... Basically all the management must be done through the app, and there is only a very minimal web interface. ... Basically you must use either the Android or IOS App there is no way to setup the system with only Windows, This extends to doing such things as checking connection quality between nodes, or managing DHCP once the system is initially setup."

"it would not go beyond 1200 mbps on a 2gig network, literally standing 0.1 ft away from the access point."

"throughput just randomly drops to 1kbps"

"Wired back haul is sadly unreliable. ... If I try rebooting the network, invariably one or two of the units do not come back online."

I just test out the Be63’s last week for 3100 SF home and large backyard. It worked well but I’m more of a prosumer and the app was pretty dumbed down. Bought the more expensive Asus BT10, 2 pack and they just smoke the BE63s. Faster and a lot better range.

Just upgraded from an older Orbi system to the TPLink BE10000 today and it was worth it. Speeds overall are better and had it up and running in 30 minutes with the satellites.

I suggest starting by wiring the XE75s together. This should dramatically improve the situation. If, after doing that, you still require an additional Deco, BE63 is a good choice. If you run the Deco mesh in Router mode, one port of the main Deco must be dedicated to the connection with Internet, the satellite Deco cannot be reachable via that port. If you have a separate ISP box acting as a router, you might consider running the mesh in Acces Point mode.

The main Deco must be wired to its source of Internet. I would return the Archer, indeed, and build a mesh only with deco units.

I have had lots of issues with my Deco units. (2x Be10000s and 1 be33000) Some improvement after switching to access point mode instead of router mode. I sent an email asking if they were ever going to upgrade their firmware. They asked what my specific issue was. Too many to list. Days later a firmware push was sent out as if I just reminded someone they needed to release it as the date on the firmware was months old. Wired back haul is sadly unreliable. If I try rebooting the network, invariably one or two of the units do not come back online. The troubleshooting says to move them closer together, not helpful, and I shouldn't need to if they are using wired backhaul correctly. I don't really want to spend more money and time on another half-baked mesh system but maybe the overpriced Orbi will work more reliably than this. Am I crazy to expect these devices to have monthly security patches like phones? Maybe this is why they are being investigated. Regular updates may not fix everything but they would at least give some sign that they are working on it. I've never spent more money on nor as much time beating my head against the wall on wifi that was advertised as seamless and carefree, as I have on these Deco units. Really pathetic.

Loving my 2 be63 tplink decos in our 2900 sqft 2 story. Usually get around 600-700 mbs over wifi. I go from fiber ont to the main deco unit, then to a poe switch for exterior cameras. Just doing a wireless backhaul and it works great.

I've got 2 x be63s and they fully cover our 2900 sqft home wonderfully. Bought them right when they came out and haven't had any issues. I use the wireless backhaul and on the 2nd unit i hardwire my work computer into it and I get around 940 mbs of my 1 gbs line. They are awesome

Just purchased Deco BE63 and a BE25. We just got fiber installed 2gb. Going to bridge the modem to the 63 and wire through attic to the 25 in the garage. Will let you know how it goes.

Does your office have a coaxial somewhere? I would always try and run ethernet but I get it. I ran cat 6 solid copper throughout my whole house and all of my decos are wired backhauled. But if you do have a coaxial in the office. Try one of these. It could help. An thanks for doing that test! Thats good to see those results. I have 6 XE75 pro and the BE63. They all work great. I only had issues with my eufy cameras disconnecting. I was able to fix that with changing the 2.4g channel on the decos to 11. https://preview.redd.it/a9vibtz1iruf1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f6986dffdb9c288dc29a5b204695f6c52772720e

Just installed the same BE63 setup today replacing Orbis and couldn’t be happier. For $400 it’s hard to beat IMO
