"It’s easy and reliable. ... This is all really easy to set up in my experience, and it just works."

"Seriously, set it up at my parents too a couple of years ago. So easy to use"

"Just a no fuss system. ... Plug in, download the app, set ssid and don't worry about it anymore for years. ... Mine has been stable and working for years."

"Coverage is fantastic, was having issues with thick walls creating poor speeds & coverage. Even if my phone said I had 3 bars of WiFi, it never acted like it. No issues now. ... My house is only 1400sf but lots of thick walls. I also wanted coverage in my backyard so one node was placed on the back wall near the backyard and it’s getting the job done outside as well"

"two pack is 5,800 square feet so literally perfect"

"tplink just works ... I follow up with my customers each month and they say everything is much better and working great. I only hardwire nodes, never wireless, and I buy the wifi6e versions- I’m not saying tplink is better than Unifi, just saying a hardwired network and wifi where you need it is the recipe."

"I have a TP link Deco with all nodes hardwired it works brilliantly."

"I noticed a BIG improvement once i conected all my decos via ethernet. ... I hate cables but it was a game changer, i use smart products from different brands and now i don't have any issues with disconections!! ... Some meross plugs disconected all the time before wiring my decos, now they work flawless!"

"Getting 3x speeds compared to my previous set up and actually getting BETTER speeds than what I am paying for from my ISP. ... I’m getting more than the speeds advertised by my isp. ... Same situation here. Getting better speeds than my plan advertises is a new one for me ... I pay for gigabit internet from Xfinity. I am getting 800-1200 throughout the entire house depending on proximity to nodes. Main node downstairs gets 1200 when next to it."

"I moved to a TP link Deco system and have been incredibly impressed particularly with maintaining my internets full gigabit speeds between nodes."

"I just (last week) migrated from 3x Eero Pro 2nd gen to 3x BE65 Pro (wireless backhaul). I used to have 200mb on the top level of my bungalow and now I get 920mb (max of what I get from my ISP). Crazy difference!"

"It’s a good system…..until your modem looses internet and the whole LAN side of your network stops functioning. ... When the internet goes down, Deco gets confused and the general response is that the LAN also goes down until internet is restored."

This is the route I am going as well. I purchased the same equipment and will be installing it tomorrow. Do you recommend any specific settings for the setup?

I picked up the BE65 Pro 3 pack at Best Buy a few weeks ago. It’s on sale for $399 and they offer 15% off with a trade-in. There’s also an Amex $25 cash back offer for Best Buy right now.

I did the same upgrade myself about 3 weeks ago and it’s awesome! Definitely like the app better and so far speeds and reliability have been outstanding. Worth the money and time to redo my setup

that's odd you are having connection or signal issues. I have the deco be65 pro (3 pack) throughout my home, but I haven't had the issues you are mentioning. I consistently hit between 900 and 1000 on my gigabit connection. see attached https://preview.redd.it/arcyw9lxu1ee1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=207b5adfac2d98856d758f3724f6917b6108f11d

That spectrum Wi-Fi 7 router is the worst of them all I got rid of that and bought a deco TP Link be 65 pro system with a fourth satellite I use one as the router three satellites all hard wired in my house all issues I had beforehand are now gone it's spectrum's garbage equipment the only thing they have worth keeping is the modem.

I’m using a Tp-Link Deco BE65 Pro mesh system with three units on a wired back haul over MoCA 2.5 adapters in AP mode. Eventually I will get around to putting the AT&T gateway into pass through mode.

I ended up having to replace my master splitter since it didn't really support MoCA filters. I capped all open coax ports except for two I can't reach (I need to find them at the splitter and cap them there). I added a filter on the "In" port. This is mostly needed to keep MoCA from escaping into the neighborhood cable system. I'm disconnected from the neighborhood cable, so it's there to reflect the signal back. I put the main Deco near the AT&T Gateway for now, and ran Cat6 from the gateway to the Deco. . I hung an 8 port 2.5GB unmanaged switch off of the main Deco. I have one MoCA adapter plugged into the switch and into the splitter to feed all the coax. I have two rooms that have MoCA adapters that attach to the coax and then to 5 port 2.5GB unmanaged switches. Then I feed the 4th MoCA adapter to the Deco in our main TV area that feeds a 1GB unmanaged switch out of one of its extra Ethernet ports. Here my TV, AppleTV, PlayStation 5 and DirecTV box get hardwired access. The 3rd Deco was in one of the offices so it would have wired backhaul and then feed 2.5gb ethernet to that room, but this was on the second floor at one end of the house. I pulled the Deco out there and moved it to the center room on WiFi backhaul to get better WiFi on the 2nd floor. So the master Deco is currently in the basement, inside a utility room. One is on the first floor where people are most of the time and close to all the media items. Then the 3rd one in the center of the upstairs. I'm going to move the basement one after I can get an electrician in. I need some power outlets added where I want to put the networking equipment and I'll be able to get the Deco outside of the utility room and provide better WiFi coverage in the basement. Now my plan is to buy another pair of MoCA adapters. When I do this, I'll be able to wire backhaul the Deco that's currently on the WiFi backhaul and I'll take the 2nd floor office and put it on a point-to-point MoCA connection to get it off of the split signal. I have a professional streamer in the house and I want to make sure the streaming room has the best connectivity. My office on the first floor is happy with the split signal. I think I'll be pretty set at that point until I can afford to get Cat6 run and retire the MoCA setup. Eventually, I'll get the courage/motivation to put the AT&T gateway into Passthrough mode and turn the master Deco into the router. But the network is working pretty well right now. I did turn on the Deco's ability to broadcast a separate 2.4Ghz IoT SSID and I've been working to try and get all my smart bulbs to and smart plugs connected to that. Some of them require 2.4Ghz, so this was a good way to manage them. I think that's a full brain dump of what I've done. Long term, I want to set an 8-port POE switch to run some security cameras with. At that point, I' want to drop a 10GB switch at the top and hang the two 8-port switch off of that using the SFP+ ports and then plug the router into the master 10G switch. This is in prep for eventually moving to 5GB fiber, maybe.

Depends on the size of the space you’re trying to cover and your internet speeds. Deco XE75 WiFi 6E system strong reliable good for gig or less isp speeds. If you have higher than a gig for speed then Go XE75 pro Deco AXE4900 pro good all around system for speeds of 2.5 gig or less. Solid performance just a tad slower WiFi speeds compared to the XE75 pro which is an AXE5400 Deco. BE63 WiFi 7 means your future proofing yourself good for internet speeds of up to 2.5 gig solid system Deco BE65 another WiFi 7 model pretty much the same as the BE63 but a little more speed or the BE65 pro good for speeds of up to 5 gig

You could do a few different models my suggestions would be Deco XE75 Deco XE75 Pro Deco AXE4900 Pro Those 3 are WiFi 6E tri band Systems If you want something WiFi 7 that would future proof you then something like a BE63 or BE11000 would be a safe choice. If you go with the BE63 make sure to grab Hardware Version 2.6 as 1.6 hardware has a lot of issues and is being phased out but there are still some out there. So just watch for that. If you want a basic WiFi 6 system then something like an X55 or X55 pro would also work fairly well

I agree with other comments return the archer and keep the deco system. While they come from the same company they work differently and not compatible with each other in terms of “meshing”.

r/TpLink • Did I just buy two separate systems? BE15000 and Deco BE1100/BE65 Pro ->
