"The soundlink max is for sure the winner, not only because of it's size advantage but the overall experience. ... Very loud, but the max has nicer bass"
"The bass is powerful ... For the bass, the walls rumble sometimes and it feels powerful."
"Bose Soundlink Max for arguably the best sounding speaker that size"

"I have them paired in party mode for when they are in the same room. Creates a wonderful soundstage with the power of the Flex for base, but a good neutral sound."
"In terms of which one spreads the sound better, i would say the bose. It has a wide soundstage ... The drivers are facing to the sides, it sounds wider than it is."
"Bose SoundLink Max, Bogasing S8 Pro Max, soundcore x600, Doss soundbox XL, Jambox, Sony srs xb33. I made "widest immersive stéréo imaging soundstage" one of my first point when i buy a speaker, and i like to try the most possible. they have all différents sizes, from différents years ,but all of them have insane soundstage with great stéréo separation for the size."

"The secret to get deep bass from the SL max is to leave the bass at +1 with the EQ ... I found an EQ of +1 for bass 0 for mids and +3 for treb to be the sweet spot for the SL max with adequate deep lows and less boomy sound profile"

"the max has more distortion at max volume, it struggles to keep the bass and the rest of the frequencies at these volumes, especiall with full range woofers."

"The Max has a design flaw - the battery drains about 7% per week without even turning it on. ... I had one and returned it for this reason because everyone else I talked to that had one, had the same issue."
"One thing I'll mention from my experience with the max it's the battery has some issues. ... It drains as much as 10% per week - completely unused."
"battery can drain when the speaker is out of use for weeks, happened to me."

"A known audio sync problem with the flex 2."
That explains it I have mine at work and don't always use it and thought my coworkers were using it because I would find it around 50% sometimes lol
I have The SoundLink max its amazing but lmao there's so many other better speakers out there than on your list
Personally i find the x600 awful. Charge 5 comes to mind given your requirements or even soundlink max.
Denon envaya 150/200/250, Sony srs x55, x77, Harman Kardon Onyx 3,4, Xiaomi Sound Move, Créative Sound Blaster Road 2, Marshall Stockwell, Marshall Emberton 2, Harman Kardon Go + play (the one from 2016), Riva S, Riva Festival, Bose SoundLink Max, Bogasing S8 Pro Max, soundcore x600, Doss soundbox XL, Jambox, Sony srs xb33. I made "widest immersive stéréo imaging soundstage" one of my first point when i buy a speaker, and i like to try the most possible. they have all différents sizes, from différents years ,but all of them have insane soundstage with great stéréo separation for the size. Seems that older bluetooths speakers was better on point than recents ones (except for somes).
I suggest the bose soundlink max. I love the sound and its perfect for outside aswell. But thats just my opinion.
Your closest bet is Bose Soundlink Max. It adds 150 bucks to the bill with a sound comparable to the Go+Play 3. Some argue its better, but it just depends on your taste.
Name 5 things Bose is better than HK?
I know people who will go for Bose anytime. I hate the boxy sound plus it doesn't come cheap. HK price range and sound, nothing comes close.
I would suggest spend extra bucks and buy Bose sound link Max. You would enjoy the crisp and deep sounds.
I found myself the Bose Soundlink Max the best in terms of sound quality. If too expensive, then a Bose Flex Soundlink, the small one sounds powerfull and amazing, even outdoors for small parties and its only about 100 bucks and the beauty of it is that they can be paired in twos so it gives an wide stereo effect, still cheaper then a Max.
I think you'd be happy with either a sony ult field 5 or bose soundlink max.
I have a bose and while it is expensive: I find it to have the most clear sound and also the most portable of any speaker i own. Everything about it just feels premium
